Something really distressing about this story is how many chances there were to save him. He had so many professionals visiting him every day and they didn't take any action to help him. A trained doctor did not notice his spine was snapped. This child could have been saved and eventually could have been happy, but for the idiocy of our child welfare system. As for the sentences? it makes me want to puke. I cried my eyes out when I read this story.

I think the only lucky thing happened to this lovely child that he died, because in one hand it ended his torture, second hand I recon he would have been turned out to be a monster after all that physical and emotional damage. He would have continued the cycle by none of his fault. That leads me to question some of the serial killers, not that they are not at fault, but some of them went through similar tortures in their early lives.

However, she has now won her case for unfair dismissal, and the government have been refused the right to appeal. She will receive compensation between £500,000 and £1Million.
