People who says that children should not be allowed in airplanes are a bunch of cranky, constipated, snobs with hemorrhoid problems. It's also the parent's fault for not keeping their kids under control. When my kids were 3 & 1-1/2 years old they were we behaved on the plane because I made sure did were. At any rate, children are people too, not animals.
If plane travel hurts babies, then why bring them on. I cant stand babies screaming and crying. I dont have kids and why should I HAVE to deal with other peoples screaming kids.
@bbybyrd There are times when families are moving to another state or country and flying is the only way for them - or maybe they're visiting their dying mother or father. Commercial airlines is for public use, which also includes children. If you don't want to hear children screaming then I suggest you fly in a private jet.
Kids yell, so because is soo fucking annoying, should not be allowed to fly, or be druged with sleep pills once step foot on fucking plane. If you don't like, put your FAT ass into a buss and gfto with your kiddo
@MegaRoFLL I find that adults are much worse then children. They argue with the flight attendants, get drunk, obnoxious and talk way too loud. If adults do it it's okay, but if a child does it all of a sudden children should not be allowed to fly. Children are people too, not farm animals, and not all kids misbehave.
I can't stand babies or children, and I'm not selfish. Did you ever think YOUR kid could become a "childhater"!? No because your fat headed ass thinks your kid is SO perfect! No body wants to hear your brat scream or cry not even PARENTS! I'm childfree and proud and I'm not selfish.
when kids cry I do not get annoyed it is a natural thing when kids feel the pressure in their ears when flying and with their gentle ear drums it really is painful specially for the small one's. It makes me upset when adults acts like kids and gets upset as if they were once not kids. They are adding to the humiliation of the parent who is trying comfort the baby. These complaining people usually are selfish and ignorant . I know this , because this was once a study
@fmflores2000 It wouldn't be so bad if the parents actually tried to do something about it.I was on a plane where all a kid wanted was to sit with his mum but his dad decided a plane was a good place to dicipline his kid.He screamed for a whole hour before he finally put him with his mum.He stopped crying INSTANTLY.On a plane u give your kid whatever they want if it will shut them up.My ears bled on a plane when I was 3 and I didn't make a fuss because my mum had brought PARACETAMOL!
@schmeeling In that case it was the parent's fault for not doing something about it. If all the kid wanted was to sit on his mother's lap then his father should have let him instead of disturbing others. Some parents are just plain stupid. LOL!

I know crying is natural, I just don't like it because well.. it hurts my ears.
Though I have always been quiet on planes, even when I was a baby when flying to Hawaii in 1st class. The flight attendants gave my parents plenty of compliments about it ;3 so yeah, not all children belong in economy.. just the unruly kids XD
This is awful. I am fourteen and recently flew in premium class and have a forthcoming flight in first class. I always get "the evils" and frowned upon by as I refer to them "the peasants". I don't understand why, it's not as if i am in their seat, they didn't pay to fly first class, and they stare at me like I don't belong their. If my parents can comfortably afford to pay the price. I enjoy A La Carte dining. Reading the newspaper, among the sophisticate class of society. People these days.
I don't think flying in first class is a problem and im 14 my family always fly in first class and my brothers are 7 and 11........and half people do stair at us......and half of the time me and my brothers are alone when we fly in first class.....sooooo why are people mad about it?
well u sound like a very mature 14 year old bravo. you r very lucky your family is lucky enough to afford first class. ive never been. and people complain honestly because they r selfish and only care about their own comfort on the plane and many dont have kids and just dont understand.
when i was kid i was always behaved on plane my brother is 6 he behaved aswell no point of wasting your money on something for 12 hours better spend on nice 5 star hotel that what my mum and dad do i been on business class once and first class when i was baby hope i did not make any noise on that plane
It's up to the parents to monitor their kids. I've seen kids running back and forth on a plane and their parents did NOTHING. Great idea for a family section. But it won't work.
A shrieking child/baby can be enough to send anyone gaga, but for a responsible and switched on parent - that child probably wouldn't cry for long as the parent would know why that child is crying and attend to the problem.

Discrimination? If I paid money for first class, I WILL GET FIRST CLASS. I don't want any ROTTEN CHILDREN anywhere near me, making any sort of noise or making any kind of motion. Or breathing MY FIRST CLASS AIR, THAT I PAID FOR.
If I don't get my child-free First Class, I'll just chuck the stupid kids out of the plane. Hopefully, they land on pavement.
Adults are a lot worse than kids. I've seen their arrogant behavior with flight attendants, making a stink out of everything. Adults are to blame for their children's bad behavior.
and i may be 11 but i dont kick seats! in econamy i am fed up and angry most of the time so i just leave everyone alone. everyone in my family is older than 10 including me. so these rich people say kids are spoiled? well they should look back and see wat a pain in the butt they were to their parents!
stuck up rich ppl! im flying first class weither they like it or not! and im 11! i dont cry in these kind of classes because i know people will cross me! and if they cross me i will ruin their whole trip! yea so my family will travel first buisness econamy any class we like!! we pay big bucks to fly in comfort and if people are fed up with us, well do darn bad! they can go fudge it! >:(
The people choose airplanes because there is not other options, I traveled with my one year old girl, two years ago from Saudi Arabia to Bolivia. It's a 36 hours trip, I saw many people extremely rude, flight attendants who don't act like peolple, it's like every body want you to kill your child so everybody can take a nap :(
It really depends on the type of families and the age of the kids. I think this refers toddlers/young children? Because I don't really think I'd be making that kind of noise on a business class flight as a 13 YO. -_-
(Obviously, unless I suffer from ADD or something.)
Well, kids are kids. They get tired, cranky, fussy. But if they or their parents have paid for the ticket, don't they deserve to fly what they paid for. But still, there has to be a better way than drugging!

Dear All,
I have some questions about childhood psychology:
(1) Why do children love flying?
(2) Why do children like to fly high more than adults?
(3) What will be the best toys for children to play onborad an aeroplane?
(4) What will be the favorite food for children in their inflight meal? And, Why?
THANK YOU IN ADAVNCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
