dude dont blame apple thats what hapens when people dont take care of thier shit and try and blame everything else. i have 3 iphones 2g,3g,and 3gs since the days they came out. this has never happend to me because i maintain my things. you should try it

@Kianomcewan every electronics item will not always be perfect. That is why there are refurbished products. A small percentage of every type of electronics product will always fail for a reason unrelated to care. There is a significant percentage of people complaining about the digitizer not working on the 2nd generation iPods. Its fact. Blaming Apple may actually be a more logical choice but they can't control which items get fucked up.

@1ipepi1 To edit and arrange the icons and folders on your homescreen, hold down the home button for 3-5 seconds untill your icons start 'jiggling' just slide the icons around to re-arange, or drop an icon ontop of another to create a folder.

HEY I KNOW THE DIGITIZER PROBLEM....ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS OPEN UP THE IPHONE 3G OR 3GS AND THE NUMBERS 1,2,AND 3 REMOVE THEM AND THAN PLACE THEM BACK AGAIN THAN RESTART THE IPHONE AND ITS GOOD AS NEW.............I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.

I have the sam fucking problem but on my iPhone the lower quarte of the screen does not respond.You need to buy a new Digitizer.NOt to restore or somethin else Good luck

just incase if you have a jailbroken ipod download veency so if the digitizer is like messed up you can control it from your computer

You need to replace the touch screen digitizer. You can either buy it on ebay for almost $100 or you can find someone who can fix iphones.

ain't a digitizer problem. you have an error lock .try to restore with itunes.

disasamle the iphone .. disconect the screen socket on the logic board and try it again .. a digitizer can't be killed by a simple error ..that was a delay .. in the screen resopnse
