Not bad. I remember when I first shot a 9mm, years ago at the Fernandina, FL FOP range. I didn't know what bullet weight to use, and was VERY upset that it would NOT knock over the steel plates! I latter tried a heavier bullet and it worked OK. My original would never take down those poppers with the Samson 115gr. load. Remington makes a 147 grain FMC target load that absolutely rocks the steel! Now I want a Glock 17 for my collection!
I used to have to go to the indoor range and stand in a little aisle and punch holes in paper. Got boring quick.
Now I have a clearing in the woods with lots of homemade steel gongs (mostly cut up scrap), silhouette stands that can be moved around, and barricades and cover for moving drills. WAY MORE FUN THAN THE INDOOR RANGE!!
Nice shooting! To know that this isn't full speed for you is a little intimidating and more than a little impressive. My trusty Buckmark will get me there soon!
@smith45acp I totally agree with you. Shooting paper sure isn't the most exciting of a good time. We used to make makeshift dummies out of old raggedy clothes and hats, hard hats sticks 1x2's and use plastic containers filled with water or mud for the heads. The rest we stuffed with rags or old catalogs and phone books. They stood nearly the height of a man. My best friend and I had loads of fun knocking 'em over. They were cheap to make, and you didn't have to be rich to have fun.
obviously rener888 is not into practical shooting. does not know what he's talking about.By the way... that was a clean run bro, good speed hitting those poppers. Could use a little improvement on the draw though... but it was a decent run.
rener888 I doubt you ever worked with a government agency. Your lack of grammer tells me otherwise. Why don't you make a video and lets see what you've got?
Completely agree with comments about moving&shooting. Definitely where most practice should go. But does no one read video descriptions anymore? This video was posted to demonstrate how the targets work, not my shooting...stationary or not. It's simply to demo the target function and some simple shooting drills on those targets. In any case, thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm glad to see people talking about this stuff.

Hi,
I dont have to show this on U tube , I work on national security agency and my job hunting fugitive people. I was hit 5 times with 45 cal. and survive. and 8 counts of officialy put bad guys below the ground. Belive me its different in actual encounter.
actually rener888 did survive after he was hit 5 times with 45 cal.now he has no legs and also lost his left arm after he was shot by a fugitive hiding under ground.
Yeah, congrats. Now if theres ever 10 midgets dressed all in white standing in a perfect line motionless trying to kill you you'll be able to survive.
Nice cadance the last string!!

great video. there should be more like this instead of ones like "chocolate rain" and that sort of crap.

Cool video man! You didn't make those poppers, by any chance, did you?

The target plates are from Mike Gibson at MGM Targets. I had a local welder make the bases with 18" legs to make them taller.

With shooting like that, I don't think he needs to move XD

Good use of the English language there friend.
Some how I don't buy your story.

@rener888 Somehow I doubt you work for the Nation Security Agency. Your inability to string together a readable sentence argues against you.

@andimabouttobreak Actually, I was just copying what you said, but you probably meant National.
My own fail. Haha.
