There's one industrial park near where I live that uses a trackmobile like the 4150 in this video as its primary locomotive.

@MultiMonster69 If you look when it pulls up to the tank car, the traction motor which drives the train wheel drives the road whells, so it is friction driven, except in the opposite/ironic way
