as a man who slaughters horses I have this to say, there is nothing wrong with running a slaughter house, everyday I slaughter horses, cows,chickens, turkeys, pigs, and lambs, it is the best way I know how to support my family and I get free meat because I slaughter my animals for my own food as well

Most of the horses sent to the slaughter house are trained and have probably been in shows. Those horses are just being sent away

my horse Zeus is a slaughter sale rescue too. Bought him about 6 years ago. He's the smartest horse in the world. Rescue horses need more publicity. Don't breed, rescue!

Is Benny a stallion or gelding? I have a 2.5 yo rescue stallion with serious aggression issues.....to be gelded in October, I hope that will help!!

i have a similar story with my qh mare.....................she was going to the slatuer house. but our friend bought her and sold her to us.....she is awsome and is one of the top horses now. i lover her so much

The video was taken when Benny was about 10 years old and the pictures where taken when he was over 30 years old. July 14-2009, yes, he's still alive at 32 years old.

o my gosh that is so awesome! It is my dream to save horses and reascue horses in need. I know that not every horse can be saved but I look at it as i must try... I am 14 and when i herd ur story it really was remarkable.. thank you... i am also currently looking for a horse but i have only been riding for a year and a half.. so im not looking for something that challenging but in the fuchter well we'll just have to see what God leads me too...
