Nice to see flamers who can actually spell. I also see that you're one of those anti-anime douchebags. The Star Trek franchise actually has references to anime, most notably the "Akira-Class" starship. And while being a rather frustrating man at times, Gene had a sense of humor. Even at that, it wouldn't be the first time he disliked a new element that had been added to the series. While this video turned out a bit dry, I personally made sure that it captured the essence of Star Trek.

The Data character was actually intended to be Lore, which was more or less Data's evil twin brother. For this story, we had intended that Lore was reactivated and made suitable to serve under Admiral Hellsing.
