Though there is a similar element to The Village, they aren't similar, really....they aren't clear in this trailer about what's in the forest, but the beginning of the book reveals it right away. I could tell you if you wanted:) It's the first book in a trilogy, too, so there were these loose ends that seemed to be dropped...I hope she picks them up. I liked the first half of the book better than the second but it's good.
That definitely looks like a book I would really enjoy; however, there is a part of me that is worried that the book will be like M. Night Shyamalan's "The Village." That movie was awful!
