I use two heads, one clean (the Carvin) and the other for the effects. That way it keeps the bottom end while using effects that subtract from the massive push of air that this baby pumps out. My Ampeg cab is ported so it pushes a lot of air for it's size. But you could bi-amp or crossover with your two cabs from the one head. I love this amp cause it gives you so many options. Mess around with it and you'll find the sound that you're looking for. Good luck and rock on!

Sounds good, I just bought the same amp, but I have a set of speakers 2 cabinets with 4 10" drivers how would you recommend I connect?
