probably, i've never try that (and i probably will never try raptor, lol). su-37 can take about 8000kg, so probably it can make almost all air risks, but some of them will not have sense in real fight (like zero-speed flip) with full payload, but when it need to save own ass after fight when there are few fuel in tanks it will really help=), anyway, in a few days I'm going to army so after that I can tell more about it

I Highly doubt the russian jet would even stand a chance. When you consider a dog fight, the F/A-22 can fire from miles and miles away, and has the radar signature of a fucking bumblebee. I don't care how maneuverable the Russian jet is, all the 22 has to do is get an AWACS lock and the russian jet is done. I mean, you have to consider that there is so much technology involved, including missile and radar technology. This plane will be the top for atleast 20+ years.

hey idiot dogfights aren't miles apart, a dogfight entails two or more aircraft in close combat. but seeing as how the raptor is more maneuverable, easier to fly, and has much better avionics, it would have a huge advantage. but thats not a guaranteed win.

Uhm, with the speeds of todays fighters, dogfights can be spread out over at least 10nm. And in a 1 on 1 with a decent pilot flying this thing, there's pretty much no way the raptor could be defeated by any foreign fighter.

F-22's stealth designs are to counter current detection, just as the F-117's stealth designs were to counter detection in its day. As a result, it's entirely possible the F-15s didn't "see" the Raptor, when they look with the radar and not the eyes.

Russian and American aircraft use diffrent doctrines. Thus they have diffrent characteristics.

Russian fighters are designed to be simple and cheap. American's tend to make planes more complex.

F-22 might be a better aircraft then any SU but is it better then a pack of 4 of them? Russians make 4,5 of a Su-35 for a cost of a single F-22.
