You obviously haven't either, because the reason that the Wii sells so good is Wii fitness. No serious gamer, aside from Super Smash Brothers, would ever buy a Wii for it's hard core games. The simple fact is that the only hard games it has are better on other consoles. BTW, THE WII USES GEN PS3 HARD WARE AND SOFT WARE IN IT'S OPP SYSTEMS. Unlike the PS3, because we all know that if you tried to run something that the PS3 runs on a PC opp system the disk would explode.

This is a tech demo, not a game... forgive me for being harsh, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the demonstration didn't need FFXIII caliber graphics to relay the capabilities of the device at hand.

I'm no fan of the product, it's only a Wii motion plus that will debut probably at PS4's release. Nintendo was messing with this shit back in the GCN days, hence the Resident Evil 4 delays and retooling.. the controller wasn't ready..

Nintendo is light years ahead of the competition.

Ever visited VGCharts? Notice the numbers Wii is pushing out? Nintendo knew they could stuff the GameCube chipset in it and still sell truckloads.

The 360 and PS3 are utilizing current generation PC hardware (aside from the cell processor, which isn't any faster than a Q6600..) the tech packed in the Wii remote isn't found anywhere else. That's light years.

I don't even own a freaking Wii, I dropped a few grand on a PC and I'm happy just gaming on that when I'm not using Adobe CS4 for work.

Look at it, it straigh, you can handle it with a single hand, it detects movements, it can track pointing...

The only thing they added is the glowing sphere on the top (which is a nice addition, I admit), but that's it!
