The behavior of the lioness, in greeting the tigress & her cubs, is within normal range: lions are genetically bred, to high degrees, to be sociable: almost all lions but especially females, live & die in groups, looking out for each other's cubs. The tigress's behavior is a bit more tolerant than normal, since tigers are more solitary by nature. But this lioness was raised & thus considered by the tigress to be her offspring, & being only 3 years, she's still a cub to her adodpted mother...

I've also seen cats snarl at their newly-born siblings n displaying jealousy when they crave 4 attention from d mother. Dat behavior is absolutely normal. Savannah is yet 2 know her new brothers and sisters.

Now I can't help but feel pity 2 castrated house cats. Of course dat was done with reason. But they'll never get 2 experience sex, giving birth and life led by instincts meant 4 animals in nature. I feel grateful I get 2 raise my cats without interfering much with their personal life.

@DoomaceIsHere Screw that, in animal faceoff the Tiger lost the the Lion because a Male Lion has more experience fighting other big cats (potential challengers for his territory). And the lions mane conceils the neck of the animal, making harder for the tiger to get in the killing blow to the throat. Sure the tiger is 'a bit' stronger then a lion but not by much.
