  • Deepak believes to be full of love when in fact he's full of s....

  • 6 more videos left. If Deepak says Wuwu one more time I will break my laptop.

  • Is it just me or are they giving the god-side a shot by having their mics louder?? lol

  • If Deepak didn't keep derailing every single comment except for Jean's, then this debate may have actually gotten somewhere.

  • this debate really is going nowhere

  • Why is Deepak's microphone so much louder than everybody else's?

  • Sam is unbelievably good at staying poker faced, but I'm pretty sure at 5:31, when he closes his eyes for that second, his eyeballs have rolled rolled at least fifteen times because that GOD DAMN WOMAN HAS BEGUN HER WAFFLING AGAIN!!!

  • how is that Deepak doesn't seem embarrassed??

  • Why is Deepak always talking in allcaps? He angry or just an insolent child?

  • Which is subjectivity, of itself ('Shit what did i say? Quick move on!').

  • Deepak SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • How come the biggest idiots get the loudest mic?

  • Piss poor moderator as well, Deepak speaks like a spoiled child and the guy sits there.

  • LOL your consciousness likes brains to express itself!

  • What an extremely rude asshole Deepak is! At least Jean can keep her mouth shut when she's not supposed to be speaking.... prefer her over the rude child.

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you for posting this, AtheistMediaBlog.

  • Chopra is an insufferable, narcissistic idiot. I wish Christopher Hitchens were there to shut him up--but Hitch probably wouldn't have wasted his time on such a lame brain.

  • "Tiger got to hunt.

    Bird got to fly.

Man got to sit and wonder, 'Why, why, why?'

    Tiger got to sleep.

    Bird got to land.

Man got to tell himself he understand." ~Kurt Vonnegut

  • I feel like Deepak was being very rude @ 1:30 onward. It's VERY rude to continue to try to get your words in when someone is in mid point. Yes, the moderator felt you tap him. Now please, put your hand down and let him finish his fucking point.

  • I'm on the scientific side of the argument, though i am also somewhat spiritual, but i see how ignorant and unwilling to listen deepak is, he isn't even trying to learn more, he is totaly convinced about his opinion and does everything to defend his realitytunnel, even when it is crumbling against the pure natural logic of sam harris arguments. sam follows the interest of exploring the universe in a selfless way, but deepak is just interested in standing his ground, he's the egoist!

  • Oxytocin is not the measurement of love in a laboratory. It is a hormone. Freaaaaaaking idiot

  • Omg, Chopra is such a rude child.... keeps raising his hand and tapping that other guy while Sherma is talking. So bloody rude.

  • Chopra is the wowo equivalent of rush limbaugh: a bloviating gas bag, spouting nonsense.

  • what the hell is Deepak talking about? there is no evidence, none whatsoever that deep, sincere introspection over long periods of time reveal to you the reality of the begging of the universe and time while at the same time explaining all the faculties of culture such as art, music, love, architecture etc. he is talking utter nonsense - aka woowoo lol

  • Why the fuck did people clap at deepaks comment at 2:30 !? he's a fucking fraud..

  • Deepak is a complete asshole' Like wtf! Let other people talk. You don't have to get loud and angry. How immature. STFU

  • Deepak's extravagant glasses say it all.

  • Even though Deepak spews nonsense....i wish that the majority of theistic beings could roll as hard as him. How much faster would our civilization get along if "god-fearing people" were as wrong as him (rather most who get their philosophy from william lane craig). His philosophy is obviously a mistep, but it is one i wish most religious people would at least take.

  • I love how retarded Deepak is.

  • Deepak makes me want to punch myself in the face.

  • Deepaks whole demeanor makes me want to just slap him. And that's with his mouth shut.

  • *or whether or not we were even meant to. 2 points for editing! : )

  • @sonykroket At most I'm an agnostic. I'm open to the possibility that there is something more, but I don't conquer with any existing Religious body or think that I or anyone else can know what that something else is or was even meant to. It's still basically a form of athiesm because I don't support any assertion that isn't backed by evidence. The only difference is I'm open to the possibility.

I used the incorrect there in my first post : / *their.

  • @12Ominous

Why dont you make it a reply next time, you superstitious chickenshit

You;re a fuckin moron and your fairytales are a joke

    Period

  • @sonykroket Why are you so sad? An Athiest is basically an agnostic. It's *you're.

I'm open to the possibility, every intelligent atheist is open to the possibility.

Fairy Tale? What. Are you trolling me?

  • @12Ominous: " Well I am an athiest (sic)*

    and then:

    "At most I'm an agnostic""

Pff you change your BS with every comment it seems

I knew you we're a lying cheating shithead

  • @sonykroket I am an sic? What? You're not very smart are you?

  • @12Ominous

You dont even know what sic means but i understand, you're a superstitious idiot that only understand unproven bullshit from the bronze age.

I feel sorry for you, dipshit

  • @godfreewoman Not necessarily indicating this particular debate. But, intellectually overbearing, intellectually intimidating, and there for intellectual bullying was what I was implicating, not physical bullying. There seems to be a widespread acceptance of the intellectual bullying of Religious people who's beliefs are visceral, not cerebral.

  • @sonykroket Why would I lie? It's called being capable of self assessment.

  • @godfreewoman Well I am an athiest, I just don't like seeing other Athiests bully Religious people, I find it to be in bad taste, very smug, very bigoted, not necessary, and actually very Christian. Athiests have the high ground because they're value system is not compromised, they're paradigm of thought isn't threatened and lets face it, they're generally more intelligent, not to mention the burden of proof is on the Thiests. It's like watching a grown man beat up a four year old.

  • @12Ominous

You're not an atheist, lying douchebag

  • @12Ominous Bully = a blustering, quarrelsome, overbearing person who habitually badgers and intimidates smaller or weaker people. I don't agree with your assessment.

As for the "high ground" that is irrelevant. Evidence IS NOT the high ground. It's the basis for a plausible argument. Just bcuz Deepak doesn't have evidence to support his view doesn't mean that if someone disagrees with him they are bullying him.

Sometimes when you talk smack, you get smacked.

  • You should believe in the truth that you want to believe in. This debate causes me to question the value of truth in an out itself. What if the truth isn't good enough? What does it matter when human beings apparently are at the pinnacle of existence. Human beings are gods, there for they can define truth.

  • I'm tired of atheism, it bores me.

  • @12Ominous Now you know how atheists feel about religious kookamuffins.

  • Deepak is completely humiliating himself.

  • AAAAAAAAGH let people finish talking deepak!

  • OMFG! every single time there is a good debate going on, that stuuupid woman start talking and destroys everything. hearing her talk makes me wanna kill myself

  • What the hell does any of this have to do with the existence of a God?

  • Deepak is so annoying. What a rude man

  • Deepak is like the hippie version of pre-socratic philosopher, Anaximander. Can't stand that guy.

  • @Pundead

    Was Anaximander also totally incoherent?

  • Deepak is my hero!!! I nearly laugh my pubic off

  • It is positively painful listening to Depak ranting on. Cat scans show EXACTLY what parts of the brain change state in meditation, in excitement, even in playing an instrument. Like most religionists he simply CAN'T stand the advancement of scientific knowledge and throws the toys out of his pram in a tantrum about it.

  • What the hell does "experiencing water" mean? Deepak mixes up poetry and reality.

  • I wish Deepak would just shut the hell up.

  • Deepak is an idiot

  • @shaneanthonypitts Unfortunately he is not, he is mega rich from using his scientific knowledge and conflating it with new age "woo woo". He is despicable but no idiot.

  • Deepak is an enormous fraud!

I hate to mention it, but did anyone else notice his diamond studded glasses?

  • Comment removed

  • @kslinker There are many evangelical frauds like him in India (just like the rich ones in the US). Because of widespread illiteracy and lack of scientific knowledge (everywhere else), he has managed to build a massive empire.

I posted earlier that we need to campaign to put him on trial for his daylight robbery in the millions. Im sure his money would help several homeless people.

  • @test123ok

    I hear ya

  • @kslinker Women call them "girlfriend-girlfriend glasses" or "Rashida specks."

  • "People are using logic? I'd better yell louder!"

  • A picnic analogy? Really? If picnics did cause ants scientifically somehow than that would be so. The fact that a picnic causes ants to show up, and the ability to say that picnics dont cause ants, doesnt diminish the relationship between love and oxytosin. Deepak is just like every other wack job who obfuscates and demonstrates logical fallacy without regard to relevancy

  • Wow. who would have thought Ben Stiller was so good at debating?

  • In fact Chopra is right, what causes you to get to your destiny? the car pedal in your foot or your foot in the pedal. You see? There isn't a causal relation because the car is the experience of driving in your brain's molecules. It all makes sense now. Thanks, Deephack!

  • @code933k Are you a neuro-scientist? No. Don't claim things you don't know.

  • @Rogersmith026 #ROFL! #sarcasm

  • @Rogersmith026 Do you have a mayor in Philosophy? No. Then please don't speak #ROFL Your point is mute.

  • deepthroat chopra

  • The more i see this "debate", the more i think that host is a prejudiced douchebag

  • @sonykroket Second that motion. He's the idiot Sam Harris described at the beginning of the debate.

  • @godfreewoman

I'm amazed by how patient and calm Mike and Sam are when dealing with these 2 frauds

  • Deepak deserves to be bullied

It's called payback for his childish pompous and arrogant behaviour

  • Deepak is incredibly ignorant. He seems to never have developed rational thought.

  • deepak apparently doesn't know what causation and correlation mean. I though this guy was a doctor.

  • @Unclesamslair M.D

  • @comicreaper I know. My comment was rhetorical.

  • Shermer thinks understanding chemicals will help us do better. What an idiot. Nature already accomplished all of the things he wants to reduce, dissect, and put back together. Shermer's way of thinking leads to a world where we are controlled through chemicals, where the value of experience is dismissed. The whole F*&King point is lost Shermer, Harris. Bad for the world, but good for the materialists, many people are starting to adopt Shermer's pseudo-science.

  • @circusOFprecision

    You sound very uninformed

My sympathy goes out to you

  • @sonykroket

Thanks for your sympathy, no sarcasm intended. But I believe that all human beings have the right to their religious freedoms. I also feel that Shermer/Harris misrepresent scientific understanding to support their anti-metaphysics very much in the same way they accuse the other side of doing it to support their metaphysics.

  • @circusOFprecision

If you come with stupid shit about Shermer and Harris misrepresenting science that probably means you have a hidden agenda or you're a superstitious dorkie yourself

  • @sonykroket

Why are you uptight and emotional? I said that Harris and Shermer misrepresent science to support their anti-metaphysics. I'm pretty much spot on. Of course, you obviously haven't the faintest idea of what that means, but you will figure it out if you think really hard. Never said anything about the other camp, that's a different issue.

  • @circusOFprecision

Just because you think you're spot on doesn't mean you are.

Very humble and enlightened there, ace

    Not..

  • @circusOFprecision Presumably when someone has had a stroke we should turn to Deepak rather than those who have studied the brain. If you think studying the brain is pseudo-science then why not dismiss modern medicine entirely? In fact, why not dismiss science altogether and let's all get together and dance around a fire in the hopes of changing the weather.

  • @ritchloui

Your comment has nothing to do with reality. I'm not against science. I'm against using scientific naturalism like an atheist crutch, and then lecturing everyone else on what is logical and rational. Huge difference, one that your pathetic equivocation can't possibly hide.

  • @circusOFprecision If you wish to have that kind of debate then Deepak is hardly the one to put forward a decent case for it. It was Deepak's constant interruptions that really pissed me off as it made it difficult for there to be any progress. He simply didn't like the idea that scientific study of the brain could give valuable insights into differing states of mind. It could aid in learning meditation for instance.

  • @circusOFprecision

Science has nothing to do with gods.

You can believe in any you like.

Science doesn't indicate magic, supernatural beings.

    Not in the least.

    Sorry bub.

Youre going to have to rely on your faith.

  • @odinata

Science has nothing to do with Gods? You are an artist at making statements that miss the point. It's like you are completely slave to your anti-theological compulsions, beyond all logic and reason.

  • @circusOFprecision

Your superstitions are what drive your anger at any and all who don't agree with you.,

I'm just trying to make you aware of the fact that you don't have to be angry.

Your superstition has no relevence in reality--its a personal thing that exists only in your mind.

    You know evolutl=ion happens.

Don't be angry just becuse there is no room for magic in the way the particles play out--the magic is in your mind.

Isn't that good enough for you?

  • @odinata

I'm asking deep questions, legitimate questions. I expect answers, otherwise what is the point of doing science or philosophy, or anything for that matter? You on the other hand seem to dispense with the deep questions all together. That's fine. But you have no empirical evidence or rational basis for doing so. You can say that I am imagining things. But what am I imagining? Where is your evidence? You've got nothing for me, so I'll stick to my pursuits.

  • @circusOFprecision

    "Where is your evidence?"

    For what?

    What are you demanding?

That I prove their are no purple unicorns?

You are the one lacking evidence and a rational basis.

You hate science because it makes you look foolish.

  • @circusOFprecision i think hitchens stated that as an atheist we have nothing to prove because we don't believe in things that do not provide evidence or have definite answers whether it may be a breakdown of chemicals or simple math - the ones who believe in god have something to prove, because it no different from trying to make Santa real and try to justify it with philosophic nonsense - taking words out of context to make knowledge seem ignorant.

  • @9058588583

I have no idea what you are trying to say here other than you want to assert skepticism as some kind of superior position to philosophy, which isn't coherent.

  • @circusOFprecision i thought i have seen ignorance but you sure do take the spot - how is believing that there is some supernatural being better than asking questions - why must you pretend there's something - better yet what about the other religions that claim that they are more right then yours ? are you a philosophy major ? lol that may explain why

  • @9058588583

More incoherent and nonsensical garble. Here is a question: why must you pretend there is NOT something? What about your own religious beliefs, your atheism, your anti-metaphysical metaphysics, your incoherent philosophy that you label as non-philosophy. When you exalt skepticism to a higher level than the basis of logic and rationale itself (philosophy), you by definition become irrational.

  • @circusOFprecision

Funny how everyone who refuses to join your cult and share your politics is "pathetic".

Especially since, when it it comes right down to it, you agree with the science.

  • Deepak Chopra is an idiot. He truly wants to believe that consciousness is separate from the brain. This has been thoroughly debunked with neuroscience, proving the different functions of the mind and personality are centered in different parts of the brain. There is no proof, however, of a supernatural consciousness that uses your brain as a mere tool for communication. This man should be laughed off of the stage for touting woo as fact.

  • LOL. Deepak, the king of "woo", calling a scientific experiment with empirical data "woo"? Seems to me he can't stand having his BS challenged.

  • WOW! Mr. Deepak is so disrespectful and arrogant! lol ;-)

  • @advantage73 although I fully agree with Shermer and Harris's points, what I see here is Deepak being so triggered by the disrespectful labeling of what he does as "woo-woo" that he does the same back at them. I wish they hadn't called what he does woo-woo.. It created such a disconnection for a successful dialogue.

  • how did a stupid person like deepak even get there? WTF?

  • @hYdEdesign Because there are enough stupid people to believe him.

  • I love how when Michael mentions a particular chemical in the brain and what it does, Deepak and crazy lady make faces like *he's* the one speaking gibberish.

  • Jean was just sitting forward listening to the mens' conversation like "whoa"

  • The BIGGEST PROBLEM on that stage IS the EGO and COMPETITION

The MOST IMPORTANT topics that need to be discussed are COMPASSION, LOVE, HEART(SPIRIT), EMOTIONS, AND UNDERSTANDING and how to develop all of these in the way we need to live a peaceful life

Ancient Zen saying: "THE MOMENT YOU SPEAK OF A THING YOU MISS THE MARK"

The Ultimate Truth or Reality is one which brings about understanding and compassion and the realization that we all "know not what we do"

No ONE is smarter than us ALL

  • @phiaman no, the biggest problem is that the clowns on the right are spouting complete crap

  • @sidewinderxx It's not that simple. It is not complete crap. What they say has some basis. Yes, some of it is just some "woo woo" but at the same time some of it is not. And yes, Deepak does have too much ego and would be much more efficient if he had more self control but I have read and do understand many of his teachings but he definitely needs to meditate some more and work on himself a bit

  • @phiaman what they say is INTERPRETIVE but they present it as FACTUAL, thereby making BOATLOADS OF MONEY from the credulous, and this deception gives me license to label it complete crap, regardless of how viable their interpretations are.

  • @phiaman It's curious that the one on the stage who most supports your view (which I don't entirely disagree with) and speaks about raising compassion is Deepak, yet he is the least tolerant ego up there. When Harris and Shermer are challenged they respond calmly, despite being thoroughly exasperated by the nonsense coming out of Deepak. Their legitimate challenges to Deepak make him talk loudly, talk over people and prod the host like a petulant child. He's a fraud.

  • @tecciztucatl A fraud is a bit dramatic. I would say all of the ones on stage have heart inside of them they just have much more to learn. And you are completely right, Deepak, the one that speaks about raising compassion the most, does talk more loudly and seems to be one of the most least understanding. He definitely needs to do some reflection and much more meditation. WE ALL DO!!!

  • @phiaman I could be wrong but while working my way through a couple of talks he's given to those who already accept his ideas I found his use of scientific terminology far more disingenuous than in this discussion. I'm not a scientist but I am reasonably scientifically literate and I've heard him say things that he must know are not true in the context he's using them, not as a trained MD.

  • Deepak is such an arrogant idiot!

  • Scientists are so stupid. If I put a twinkie in their hand, they'd run some tests in a lab and say that it's just sugar, gelatin, flour, etc. That's great, mr. scientist. But how the fuck did the twinkie get there?! They couldn't tell me.

  • @peteagassi Cool story, bro'. But in the real world, the scientist would tell you that you put the twinkie in their hand, that's how it got there. Your story its answer within it.

Also, if a scientist doesn't know an answer, it just doesn't follow that Deepak or some religious cleric or holy book must know more. The clerics and holy books just make shit up when they're ignorant, a good scientist says "I don't know."

If you prefer the clerics and holy books, that's your problem and your loss.

  • @peteagassi

They'd tell you exactly how it got there as they SAW it happen. They bore witness. They have Proof. Something I dare you to say religion has any of.

  • Deepak STFU!!!!!!!

  • The crowd here is just as retarded as crowds at any political event.

Clap & laugh to nearly anything that's being said. Family Guy made a good parody on this

  • why do the audience laugh along with deepak, it just encourages him to talk even more crap

  • You only have to spend an hour reading Jiddu Krishnamurti or the Buddha teachings to realise empirical testing is not the only method to understanding truth, there is also impersonal direct observation, this is something the west/rational mind cannot understand and this mind hates that because it doesn't like to think there is a higher understanding than it. In fact the empirical paradigm is in tiself a belief, it's a belief that works within a limited field.

  • It's funny that the rationalists don't understand what the post-rationalists are saying, so they have to resort to insults inorder to protect their intellectual identities.

  • @teamhumanity Sounds to me as though they're just talking past each other. Clearly there are 2 totally different discussions going on here. Deepak and his colleague are debating sheer spirituality. Just like most religious types, they'd swear that there is some ulterior purpose for our existence as well as that of the universe. Until this is validated and verified beyond personal feelings, emotions and experiences.... then science is still man's best method of divulging reality from fantasy.

  • ON the record, I'm an atheist... Also, Deepak always talks about transcendence consciousness.... but, never provides any proof for it.. Just repeats it over and over again.

  • The best explanation for our interconnected relationship with the cosmos is the following: we have found DNA in meteorites.. And testing revealed adenine and guanine were present which are the two FUNDAMENTAL components of DNA called nucleobases. Specifically, CM2 meteorites. So, Yes we are connected with our cosmos scientifically, but to say some intelligent-being has done this? Well, you need empirical evidence to push for that Mr. Chopra, and you did not provide that. This life is it.

  • Uhmmmm... whoever was mixing the mic feed on this presentation needs to be fired.

  • It's like he's a fucking child! :D

  • Explaining spirituality to Americans is like explaining to you fuckin idiots why America isn't number one. You guys wont understand what Deepak has to say because you fuckin idiots draw pleasure from only from the physical realm. Explains why you idiots are drowning in debt, your kids are shooting up your schools, all while yelling "YEAHH AMERICA #1". Just because something is not physical/tangible doesn't mean there isn't a real experience. But nobody here would even begin to understand that.

  • @merajoga I'm not american but I think your argument is completely wrong; America is where Deepak C has done his millions by telling ignorants his BS and they believe it..America is the place that if you have a ridiculous story, be sure that there will be hundreds if not thaousands of people that will believe it, and then you'll get rich...Harris & Shermer are not saying that there are no experiences, they are only saying that you don't have to believe all the BS from DC to understand it!!!!

  • @merajoga Ah, usual tactic. When people call the spiritualists out on their bullshit, the spiritualists just scoff and say, "You just don't understand."

Or maybe you guys just suck at explaining it. Or, and here's an idea, you guys are wrong. That's possible too.

  • @BigLundi or heres an explanation, maybe there are ACTUALLY things that people may not understand. IE- when not so long ago as we misunderstood the pathogenesis of cancer. You are assuming you know everything, and claiming other things as bullshit, but if I were the most highly educated man in cancer research what he thought the genesis of cancer was 20 years ago, he would have been completely wrong. Lesson: stfu and stay open minded and dont degrade. Ps- lose some weight.

  • @merajoga Oh there are PLENTY of things people, and I, don't understand. However there's nothing to suggest these things are in any way supernatural, or even spiritual.

Don't feel like losing weight, considering the vast majority of my weight is muscle. Step mom's a gym trainer. :)

Sorry, but you have no idea what it means to be open minded.

You should watch Qualia Soup's video on open mindedness.

  • Deepak- Your making it up as you go along!

  • Deepak, can you please let Harris finish three words without interrupting him? Please?

    Thanks.

  • You can tell who is more interested in having a discussion and who is more interested in grandstanding by asking a simple question: which person, Harris or Chopra, spends more time looking at the crowd when he speaks?

Chopra isn't used to dealing with a rational argument on its face; he's used to a captive, self-selected audience that generally agrees with him.

  • deepak is profoundly ignorant!!!

  • once again the answer is in the question....this brain crap has nothing to do with the question... deep down, nobody wants that "holy shit" moment when you know you can die at any time and you're teetering on heaven or hell. so you say to yourself its better to go along with believing then to be left behind. I know it's not that black and white but you know its true.

  • Wow. I skimmed through the first 10 pages of comments and atleast 75-80% of them are hateful and disrespectful and self righteous in one way or another. If you have nothing good to say then do not say it. Have you taken nothing away from this awesome discussion thus far? That being said, I think discussions like these are so great and beneficial for all types of people around the world and we need younger generations (such as myself) to pay attention to these more often opposed to other things.

  • @youngs1ncere What a stupid statement "if you have nothing good to say don't say it".

  • @BeforeTheNoose Thanks for trolling.

  • @youngs1ncere "Thanks for trolling." Ah, the classic response from someone who can't defend a statement. Well done.

Its namby pambys like you that have given religion a free ride for so long. Guess what? I don't have anything good to say about religion or deepak and the other chump, but i'm still going to fucking say it. Get over it.

  • The "oxcytosine" discussion has ZERO to do with good vs evil. God is the spirit of goodness (assuming good and evil exist).

  • I'm sorry to say it, but Sam Harris is the only one who makes any sense here most of the time. Obviously Chopra and Houston are totally out to lunch, but what WAS all that gibberish about oxytocin from Shermer?

  • this idiot audience just claps for any bullshit

  • No you idiot it proves the picnic caused the ants.

  • if i ever see deepak ....i would punch him in the nose

  • Damn... Deepak is absolutely lost in his own bs. He's made up his mind and that's it. He's twisting and turning and behaving like a spoiled child to get his way. He really is the too-proud and egocentric student in a classroom with a patient and smart teacher.

  • its so funny to watch Deepak how afraid he is when sam is about to speak...because he knows his eloquence owns him with calm and reason no spiritual mumbojumbo can argue with.

  • After watching this whole debate I've come to one conclusion

    Michael = Logic

    Sam = Reason

    Depak = Woo Woo

    Jean = Zzzzzzz

  • H2O is not the experience of drinking water. No shit. What water is is something different to the EXPERIENCE of drinking water, no one is saying different.

  • Comment removed

  • @cmpresents

You couldn't get a more concrete example of pseudoscientific than Deepak while S&M are the complete opposite

  • How does oxytosin come into play with my love for Natalie Portman. God she is talented...

  • WOO WOO LOL Deepak is completely delusional lol

  • @2.40 Oooooooooh - Deepak's getting sulky. Where's ya cosmic karma, guru?

  • Sam and Michael have not proven ANYTHING they have said with science. Michael, you CANT explain subjective experiences with your pseudo science crap. Deepak and Jeanette are just as confused.

  • Beautiful discourse which would never result in anything changing or anyone experiencing any profound changes of their core beliefs.

  • People like Deepak have no interest whatsoever to listen to a scientific explanation of things religion claimed to be the origin of.

Because reality doesn't sell his books very well

  • you don't need a brain for consciousness, have we forgotten about AI? that's a type of consciousness. DEEPAK ALL THE WAY!!

  • Deepak's face scrunches up a little more in each continuing part of this video the more he rages ^_^
