  • I am currently 210 pounds. At my heaviest I was 270. I've lost this weight recently by completely changing my eat habits and walking every other day. I saw Shaun T on Dr. Oz and was empowered to purchase this program. I know it will be hard but I'll just keep at it, if I have to take breaks, I will. Shaun even said on Dr. Oz that you don't have to follow him completely, follow yourself and do what you can, that's what I plan to do. Excited!!!!! :) Thanks for this video!

  • Alright there! Have you heard the talk about - fast abs magic (search on google)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my father got amazing Six pack abs and lost tons of fat with it.

  • I wouldn't pay anything for any program. I just search YT videos like Six Pack Shortcuts or Brandon Carter and down load for free.

  • @3089280288 There are also other P2P sites where I found all of Rushfit, P90X, Insanity, and Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred.

  • I started today, I could only do 15 min! It is so hard..But I am sure it works, so I will "keep pushin it" :)

  • you can buy the insanity on ioffer.c0m for a great price. dont pay alot for it.

  • I just bought it :) excited for it to come!! I'm also a little scared to because of the intensity lol but hopefully I'll get some good results!

  • Thanks I needed to hear that, it made me feel alot better. I had quit, but now im back on it.

  • i ordered this yesterday... i can't wait to start! hopefully i can get through it!

  • does it really really work i saved up money for it but i want to make sure its worth buying ?

  • @ILUVMYMONKEY143 it is guaranteed to work if you just do it. It all comes down to you! Any work out will work if you actually DO IT, consistently and don't give up! Best of luck to you!

  • Thanks for your honesty. I am thinking of purchasing the DVD's.

  • I'm in Insanity week two! Thanks for this motivation!!!

  • Very true - I agree 100%...you have to be really dedicated...I think it's even harder than P90X. I would like to tell people, too, that it gets easier...you just have to commit to it.

  • Work that fat of girl.

  • Honestly it's not that hard. I've been doing it for 3 weeks now. The only thing is I have really bad shin splints. I do it in the mourning do I'm not tired when I hit the gym at night

  • @JameR242 It is hard for even the average athletic person...I have just started and I am not overweight and I work out at least 5 days a week (pretty intense workouts) - I put this in the player and this workout is hard for ME, someone who is in better shape than most. The only way I can see it not being hard is if you workout as a profession.

  • hi Brandi...thanks for sharing, i really appreciate it...I started Insanity for the second time on two days ago, and AGAIN could hardly make it through the first 10 mins of the fitness test, i have decided to keep trying even though i don't make it right though, do as much as i can...so i really appreciate your encouragement...although i haven't done anything again since then, i am going to make sure that i do it when i get home from work today, as sore as i am from the fitness test...thanks

  • @nishy81 Hi I just want to support you with my experience....I'm doing the Insanity for the second time too and yes it's not easy. I work 12 h. shifts and believe me no matter how bad I feel after a working day (usually I want to cowl somewhere and die) I do the workout and it refuel me with energy. So don't give up. :)

  • completely agree - nice post

  • U LOOK SO HOT GIVE HER SUM MORE LIKES U MOTHERFOCKERS LLLOLLLL

  • i nearly died doing INSANITY LOL

  • I'm 5'3 btw

  • I agree it is super hard. its been 3 days and i still havent gotten through the whole cardio resistance dvd. I started out at 130 lbs, im now 120lbs and i catch my breath and drink water too. Just push through it. I'm not giving up

  • of courrse u can do it just do as much as u can

  • I want to start doing insanity. But im in terrible shape. I weigh 150 and im 5'8. & im 18. Im really committed though. Do you think its possible to do insanity even though your completely out of shape?

  • @NeverEndingKarla absolutely :)

  • @NeverEndingKarla hey, i'm 18 as well and i weighed 137 2 weeks ago, i never really worked out...it is possible! I'm in week 3. Try to find a workout buddy though, it'll motivate you to keep going, and stick to it. It is hard, i can tell you that, but you can push yourself and make it through. =)

  • @Teddycarter15 Thanks for the advice :) I cant wait to get started. Even though my moms going to be my work out buddy -__-

  • She's actually really hot in a Alicia keys-smokin aces kinda way....I'd pound her...

  • i'm starting insanity tomorrow. ty for this encouraging video and wish me good luck ;)

  • Thanks for the encouraging words. I too bought Insanity and started it but stop. You have given me the mind to want to start it again and this time complete it. Thanks once again.

  • im from mexico, and im starting the insanity program, i decided to change my body, and thanks for sharing this video. and yes it takes a lot of will power to complete the first video. you give me hope.

  • Saw results in my body in the first week... i am on week 3 i feel so healthy and abs are a shaping... not willing to give up

  • Thank u for ur video, it is really motivating. I will definitely give it a try

  • i di t it !!! , currently waiting to get my t-shirt ... basic training was easier than this thing !!!! .. but i'm going back for more ! .. love the results !!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I know exactly what you mean i bought it too. Me and my neice lasted only 2weeks :/ it was extremely hard. Your video is giving me some what motivation to start it back up. what did you eat and the times you did? when i was doing insanity i would do it in the afternoons. :)

  • Thank you:)

  • it's all about mental motivation. the only person that wants results is *you* and you are your only true motivator! and you are the only person that is going to hold yourself accountable for what you want. nobody else is going to do it for you and anything worth having requires effort. at least that's what i keep telling myself! it's hard (i'm at week three!) but it's already getting "easier". keep trying everyone!

  • Shit had to get in shape to before starting insanity and it's still kickin my ass but ill never give up. Challenge excepted

  • thanks (: , i'm goin to try

  • Thank you for your words. I saw some testimonials and I thought that I can't to do that. But now, I'm change my mind. (Sorry my English, I'm from Brazil.)

  • Great video! :) very motivational.

  • "what have i gotten myself into" :P haha.

  • I love this video you have given alot of info on this and encourgment .....

  • do you know where i can buy this program at?

    this video really helped

  • Thank you soo much now when i buy the dvd anytime i get down ill press replay on your video! : D

  • very encouraging. thanks!

  • Totally agree. I just finished my 2nd week, and i'm doing better. Of course not 100%, but i'm all in sweat after every workout, which is all what matters. For first 3-4 days i had such muscle pains in my legs, but i gave my max. As long as you give your max, it will pay off :D

  • OMG thank you so much!! I have started and stopped insanity 3 times before!! i am NOW on week 2 and i am NOT QUITTING THIS TIME! and you just made me realize that my breaks are okay, and not doing all the moves just right all the time is OKAY! thank you so much! and CONGRATS!!

  • Where you in the documental "Pregnant in America"?

  • Do you have to be in shape to start the program?

  • Hands down, Insanity is the best work out ever made!!! As the saying goes "keep pushing play"

  • Ok ok ....ok....I'll do it. I've been dreading it but I'll do it. Thanks so much for your sincere words and taking the time to encourage others. I quit smoking and drinking and eating crap so it's time I undo the damage. And a resounding "yes!" to anyone who is wondering if eating well helps. Any trainer will tell you that good abs are made in the kitchen. I stopped eating sugar and drinking soda and alcohol two weeks ago and I automatically dropped 4.5 lbs within that time. Give it a try! :)

  • I am starting insanity when the DVD's get to my house here and I enjoyed your video because it actually has given me more motivation. Thanks

  • I'm only on day 3 of INSANITY so I'm currently still motivated. But I think I'll bookmark your video to re-watch around week 3. I'm sure I'll being looking for a little motivation and words of encouragement by then.

  • did you take any days off or did you do the 60 days straight through?

  • I'm on day 4 of Insanity. I am 22 years old currently 224lbs and 5"8. I am trying to lose 30lbs (195) by the beg of June. Is insanity a good workout for my goal? Or is it a good workout for people who are skinny and are just trying to tone up?

    Thanks

  • @ChrisO89 No it's for everyone! I'm sure you can do it. I wish you luck and don't be discouraged like she said. Give it your all!

  • Hi Brandy, thanx a lot for posting this. I started with insanity this past Monday and from what I've heard in this video, I see that I have been too hard on myself. I mourned at the fact that I couldn't keep up with Shaun T and the team all the time 100%, so you can imagine how that crashed my ego, though I feel muscles in my core I didn't know existed. After listening to you though, I am determined to ENDURE TO THE END. Take care and warm greetings from the sunny side of the Alps - Slovenia.:)

  • I keep telling myself exactly what you said, if you do what you can it will make a difference. Doing a little is better that what I was doing before starting Insantiy. I can make it through most of the warmup, but then I am spent. I still try to do a little of each excercise if possible, but if not, I am not too hard on myself and just keep trying. Today is day 4 for me.

  • This is awesome, I am buying the insanity right away here and I have been looking for reviews and your words pretty much inspires me. I had a baby 8 months ago and I have been extremely hard on myself and now I have told myself there is nothing to do but put myself on the right track and get fit, I owe it to my son and husband and especially to myself, thank you for making this video!

  • im doing insanity but do i have to use the nutrition guide? or just the workout? or with the workout is enough to get fit o do i need tu do the book of the nutrition guide? im sorry for my english i'm from mexico.

  • @cariiTto28 if you skip the nutrition guide you are wasting your time. In fact i would bet that you would see more results by doing no exercise and following a healthy diet than you would by doing this program and continuing to eat terribly.

  • This is my story! I have had Insanity for 2 years now and when I got it I was 311 pounds and I tried to do the workout and I thought I was going to die and I put it away. I think it did kick start my weightloss and I recently took it out of the closet again and this time I will just do what I can. Im 283 now but i feel better than before. I will contiune to work with insanity until I can really do it.

  • @lockedlooneytune Based on your weight, if you are not easily discouraged this may work. but you may find it better to do an easier program like turbofire first where you can do 80-90% of it instead of weeks of only doing half or less of the insanity program.

  • good job ur the best i just finished my 60days the 1st weeks of the mouth is the hardest but once u pass the week on both months it gets easy ....im gonna start it up again 2day its been 2 weeks when i finished it ...lets do a work out blog video pic thing lol hit me up if interested or something

  • Thank you for this! I'm on my 4th day, sore as crap, and just not wanting to do it. I've taken so many breaks and now I know that if I keep with it, I'll get results. Time to go work out!

  • @heatherwebb05 insanity is for people who are already somewhat fit. If you are having that much trouble i would suggest you do something like turbofire first.

  • Ah i forgot to add did you follow the nutrition guide?

  • THANK YOU for this... god. I started insanity and gave up pretty quick...but thanks to this im going to try again today! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • Lmbo @ Shaun T and company

  • Thank you so much for posting this video, I really needed to hear those words! love from Italy

  • This is one of many videos I've watched about insanity. I bought it before Christmas 2011, did the fit test this morning and it beat the crap out of me. I bonked, ran out of glycogen, blood glucose and breathe all at once. I laid down on the ground and let my heart pound. And while my lungs we're busy wheezing I started visualizing my previous results in my past HIIT sessions. These reverse HIIT sessions are badass. They will improve all levels of performance within you're body and mind.

  • Today is my 6th day of Insanity and I am not giving up!!!

  • Comment removed

  • thank you sooo much, i really needed to hear that. you really motivated me. got mine 6 mths ago did it for a bit and quit and i started again today

  • Thank you so my for motivation! I think your so right! Many people thinks that they should go beyond their limits and get some injuries during workouts but your results show us that even average person can do it. Now I'm willing to go through Insanity after 30DS by Jillian M. Thank you so much again, I'll be waiting for many other videos from you. Cheers!

  • Hi, I'm a teenager (girl) and i'm 15. I've been swimming competitively for 5 years but i quit last year, and i used to always bike/run. I don't want to swim competitively so i'm not going back. I'm 120 pounds. Do you think I will be able to do insanity? Or should I do p90x?

  • @MrAbc2409 you can do either one, I smoke an drink an do insanity. its basicallly being out of breathe for 35mins lol.

  • YOU'RE AN INSPIRATION HUN! AM GONNA START THIS IN THE NEW YEAR. XX

  • You are really freakin inspiring :) I wanna go buy insanity!!! I'm 15 and weigh 178.. I was lose about 40 pounds :( so hopefully this will help! :D

  • I am on my 4th week of insanity :) It is fun, but the problem I don't like is. my clothes are looser now :) and I look better, but My weight is still the same? I don't get that?

  • @RebornPsalmist I am not using this program, but I can tell you that you are replacing fat with muscle. (not a bad thing) If you want the weight to go down, it is primarily a matter of diet. Change your dieting habits to be more condusive to weight loss. If you are eating a lot of protein rich food for example, it will help you build muscle. I am drinking protein shakes before and after workouts to build muscle. same result. no weight loss, but feeling much healthier and stronger.

  • @RebornPsalmist you might be gaining muscle.

  • @RebornPsalmist your body weight is the same most likely due to you gaining muscle. muscle is much heavier than fat, so the scale may say one thing, but the amount of fat lost is what's important (hence why your old clothes fit so loose now). get your body fat percentage measured. I guarentee that number is dropping rapidly due to INSANITY!

  • hello Brandils, i'm just about to start insanity. i'm 5'9 183 pounds and my goal is to get down to 160. I was wondering did you follow the eating plan the way it is in the book?

  • So glad I just found this...picking up my DVDs tonight and will start tomorrow...eeek!

  • I known what you mean the fit test is hard but I did the best I can for today. Hoping for the best tomorrow I'm motivated as hell! 250 trying to lose at least 50lbs-75lbs :P over exagerating but I'm motivated.

  • Tyvm for posting this. Omg i am thinkin bout startin it myself

  • Hey Brandi, I'm on day 14 and I agree it's HARD! But, it's worth it.

My girlfriend started yesterday after seeing me totally kick my own ass for 35/40 minutes a day and still come back for more. We're eating healthier together too so by day 60 I'll be much fitter and hopefully able to get back into competitive basketball.

I really appreciate the vlog and your words of encouragement, they mean a lot!

  • I've done two full cycles of insanity with nutrition diet and only lost 15 pounds doesn't work for everyone so it's not always worth it I'm half way through a P90X cycle and have lost 55 pounds truth is you have to find what works for you for it to be worth it don't endorse insanity it destroys your body joints in the long run

  • Great Vid! Finishing up week 2 this Saturday. It's crazy how even the "warm up" is ten times more strenuous than any other workout I have ever tried. It was really nice to know I wasn't the only one doing more watching than actually working out in the begining. But it does get easier. It's amazing how well the body can condition itself to endure Insanity. Watching vids like yours makes me wanna keep on pushin!

  • Thank you sooooooooooooooo much for posting this...i put mine down and was very depressed about it...i am starting again in dec 9after my exams)....

  • Thanks for sharing! I'm gonna try insanity, again myself, did a lil bit of iy a dew months ago thru watching a friend do it, lol and ur exactly right it is very challenging, but it's worth it! :) thanks again

  • Thanks so much for posting this! I just did my first Fit Test this morning and it was rough.....very humbling. I'm nervous heading into Day 2 in the morning but am determined to complete the program. Like you said, do what you can, the best you can and don't worry about the rest. Thanks again!

  • Thank you this is very great to hear im starting my second week and todays workout i felt like I was slowing down adn tought about quiting but i pushed through and tried my best. Insanity is really kicking my butt. :)

  • This is great motivation! I have a question...as you progressed did you follow the dvd or did you repeat what you couldnt complete before? For ex. if 1 day was arms and the next was abs, and you couldnt complete all of arms, would you go on the next day and do abs or would you repeat arms? Thanks!

  • hi thanks you really helped me because insanity is kicking my ass? and i was about to quit but by hearing your story i will not quit im gonna dig deeper besides quiting is for lossers

  • i pushed myself so hard i began to cry. but i told myself not to quit and IM SO EXCITED I LOST 45 POUNDS! :)

  • I just started on my second week I think Ive been doing well the workouts aren't as intimidating as I thought I think my bigger problem is lack of motivation. I can't expect to be ripped in the morning ha n that's why I wanna stop but I gotta give it my all. I loved your vid I like hearing ppl say hey I finished so its like yeah so can I ha

  • Hi it true is hard but it worth it, hey what happend when you stop for some days for some reason like job or travel? You can star on the video you was?. Cool video you are totally right, and do you some diet? Wich? Because the diet of the manual its to much for my i will be to fat with that diet, i hope you can amswer all my question.

  • SWEET VID

  • Very encouraging! Thank you!

  • Just what I needed! Im on Day 3 and was like WTH did I sign up for. I find my self doing more watching then working out but Im drenched in sweat from trying so hard. This is why DVD's are so hard for obese people like myself. You make and expectation to keep up with these very fit individualism. Suggestion to Mr. Shaun T . Add some heavy set folks to your next DVD, so they can show me how to dig deeper. Your words of inspiration have encouraged me to push on! Thanks chicka!

  • I just started my first day today and I felt the exact way thinking what did I get myself into, now after this video I am excited for tomorrow's work out with Insanity

  • do some wokout with heavy weight and you will even look better

  • @hoopgirl245 you're a girl right?

  • this is awesome, i just got it! i did the fit test today! you're giving me hope! thank you so much:)

  • @xoxsamoxox you're welcome!

  • @xoxsamoxox do your thing. you're going to love what it does for you.

  • im 17 265 pounds...i did 2 days of this so far.im in pain but i keep going.i have been over weight since i was 7 or 8.but im sick of it now and ur vids motivate me to reach my goal of 160 pounds.im saving money so i can supplement.do u use supplements?

  • @hoopgirl245 I do. I take a multi-vitamin and I drink shakeology.

  • THANK YOU! SUPER INSPIRING. I JUST ORDERED MINE, KINDA NERVOUS

  • @kealohigurl don't be nervous. but just remember not to be too hard on yourself if you cant keep up. it's intense but you'll get through it and look and feel great after

  • Thank you!You give me hope!I will start today,I have some back problems but I will try the best I can.I will show you my results some day. :)

  • @87nglwings just slowiy. the jumping might be hard on your back but u can simulate jumping by bending your knees and switch lifting one left at a time.

  • I completely agree!!! Its not easy! It never stated to b easy. But u do feel better about yourself nd if u push urself to ur limit u will feel results. Its hard but very well worth it. Ppl shouldn't quit because its "too hard" ....if u actually watch the ppl in the video, THEY get tired too!

  • Hi There! I just started insanity yesterday--- I really can't do any of the push-ups... I'm not sure what to do because most of that is in the agility workout...

  • @235jberk don't worry about the push ups. Do what you can and you'll start to increase your ability

  • i'm in the army about to get chaptered out for being overweight and not meeting the measurements. i got this love handles that i can't shake no mater what i do and it's a weird body i have. my 1sg understands cuz he seen me and said, 'yeah, you got a messed up body but work on it and i'll help.' will this work in combination with morning pt and afternoon pt?

  • @thompson8305 if you're combing 2 pt sessions it might be a little much. I'd start out doing insanity may 3 times a week and see how i feel. it should work, but you're going to have to make sure to eat enough calories of the right kinds of foods.

  • It's hard but yes well worth it!! I'm a22 year old female and I've been on insanity for 5 weeks now and although it's been a struggle I've seem amazing results!!! My legs used to have a lot of cellulite!!! There's only a little now!!!! It's not only gonna help u get fit but the workouts make u feel so good inside and out!! I love it!!

  • @wisegal88 you go girl

  • Thank you!!! I was feeling bad because I'm doing exactly like you said...watching Shaun n comp. while I'm exhausted drinking water...but I wont quit!! You give me hope...LOL

  • @alirodz79 Thanks I'm glad I can help motivate you.

  • GOING TO START INSANITY TOMORROW.....VERY NERVOUS... I USUALLY QUIT EVERYTHING.....I JUST DON'T THINK I HAVE THE WILL POWER......WISH ME LUCK THANKS FOR THE UPLOADS.....ALSO HOW DO YOU STAY POSITIVE AND WILL POWER EVEN WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE CRAP.?????

  • @dejavually in the beginning its hard but it does start to get a little easier. I would just tell myself it's only 45 minutes, and remind myself how good it feels to be done with another workout and on step day to my goal.

  • thanx

  • brandilsfiredup, do you think doing insanity will target chest fat at the most as well since I'm a guy?? I've bought insanity (used) two weeks ago and I haven't really started yet because I was thinking it wouldn't get me in shape since I tried other things before. but I plan on doing it all this summer. I could use some good advice.

  • @oldbear92 INSANITY will decrease your overall body fat. This program will help you shed massive amounts of weight, but you have to be consistent and you absolutely must eat right. All the working in the world won't give you the same results as a lean/clean diet in combination.

  • What made u buy such a hard program? What was it?

  • @mikecazzx Good question Mike! When I started seeing the infomercials I was doing P90X. I though if I can do this then I can do that! When it arrived it was a whole other story. It was challenging but I did it and I'm glad I did.

  • thank you for your videos! you are honest and straighfoward and i look foward to seeing more from you!

i am currently on day 48 of insanity and really do love it.

i would love to hear your opinion on insanity vs. turbo fire, chalean, and p90x...

what you found easiest, hardest, boring, fun, etc... i have p90x (love me some tony horton!) and i do pop one in when i feel like i need more weight training, but i dont really wanna do 90 days of it... would love to hear your opinions on all of them!

  • @cholielynn Thank you. You actually read my mind. Someone else asked about that I thought why not make a video but since you requested I will do it. I'll do INSANITY compared to TurboFire next week.

  • OMG I thought i was the only one in the world that sat on Insanity before I actually started it, and I thought i was the only one who is soooo tired in week 1. This is great motivation! Great!

  • @MittBritt20 You're welcome. I realized that the there are a lot of people like that. It's not easy but it's worth it. You'll start to be able to hang longer as you continue the workouts. I'm going to do a second round this summer.

  • Thanks for the insight and honesty
