I use to have this entire show's board mix. It was in Shreveport in 88. He did a make up show a few months later. He did an interview on TNN before the makeup show and swore he was drugged hanging out with Lynard Skynard before the show and that he total disapproves of drugs. Claims he's into Confederate Civil War artifacts and hunting. It was great ! It got removed. Met him once or twice. Hes my hero.

My very first Hank concert was the 15 minute show at Bonner Springs Kansas in 1991. Hank was cussing at the crowd, something like F@!#k you Missouri, even though we were in Kansas. I think I was the only person in that whole place that was still cheering for him. Seen him 6 times since then, sober every show, not quite as spririted as the first one, Hank rules!
My town has a celebration called Hillbilly Days,, Hank came here in the early 80s and got wilder during his show and started partying with the crowd.. The City officals must have said something hateful to him, Cause he told the crowd he'd never be back to this damn town.. But glad he changed his mind, He was here on NewYears Eve 06/07 and he's coming to Hillybilly Days 10'.. Hell Yess,, Hank Rules!!!!!
