What I have found is that two different kinds metals causes electricity through liquid. So my saliva became electrolyte which helps these two metals can cause electricity circuit. I'm not sure if my English is good enough for you to understand but I think that's how it happened to my tongue.
You created an electrical ciruit with the metal and you wet tounge (water/etc is a conductor.. although saliva isnt water, but nvm that)
So you created a circuit, and somehow you induced a voltage. More positive or negative to a certain side, which causes a flow of electrons (current/amps). What you probably feel is the electrons moving along your tounge.
Our senses are send electrical impules to our brain.. and if you mess with that of course it would feel diff.
i love that song! after i heard it the first time, i used to dance like that in from of my mother...\(*w*)/ and she doesn't even understand japanese...i think now she fears i am a bit of a schizo :D
Da is the informal "desu" and can losely be translated to the english "to be". So yep, "DC da" or "ore/watashi/boku/etc. wa DC da/desu" basicly means "I'm DC" or "My name is DC" depending on situations.
you have two different metals in the presence of an electrolyte,(your saliva) when its not touching its nothing, but when they do touch, it completes the surface and ions from one metal move across your tongue to the other, making a very very small battery

Is it some sort of electrical thing which numbs your tongue? Some sort of charge in the metals? Kurt :-)

I think the acidity on your tongue makes some kind of very weak battery? I could be wrong.

I'm kinda surprised that some people in the West even know the comedian. They were very popular in Japan in very short time. I kinda miss them.

Because you have electricity in your fingers, and it goes through the spoon/aluminium foil thingy. Same as when you put a battery on your tongue.
