For me this game had the best graphics of any game, ever. I love the scenery, wide ranging. I love how it was rendered, perfect blend of colours and tones. The fire rendering is the best I've ever encountered in any game. I still play this game.

okay, mercs1 is waaaay better than mercs2 for ps2. if ur gonna get one, get mercs1. in mercs 2 you cant even kill civilians and you'll lose money if u hurt one even though they wont die! in mercs1 u can kill whoever u want and nothing happens

Playground of Destruction beats World in Flames on the PS2,but World in Flames took out Playground of Destruction on 360 and PS3.

Both are one of the best third-person shooters out to date though.
