  • @munckymagic I thought the same. I was 10 at the time. Shows how good the band are that they produced that sort of thought in me at 10!

  • @peskyseagull You are right :)

  • @MrMusicfan007 i find the only hard part is when u have to skip string in the intro riff when he goes to the E eveyrthing else is simple

  • @tdrider2008 Yeah, I know. Its not that easy for me, see we are there again that I am the best bassist LoL

  • @MrMusicfan007 practice -.-'

  • @PTgamer00 Yaaaaaaay, I can do it without mistakes

  • I fucking hate these band arguments! Just go listen to the music you like and STFU about other bands if you dont like them! Cant stand the "youtube-attitude", do you watch Family Guy too and say Southpark is better you suck all the time? Fucking ignorant your wasting your and other peoples time!

  • @danielvandam so fucking right m8

  • @Loamflex Radiohead is about everything BUT easy listening! God almighty!

  • I love Muse...hate their new stuff

    I love Radiohead!

    I LOVE MUSIC!

  • Radiohead = Easy listening, chilled out.

Oasis = Rock 'N' Roll anthems

MUSE = Epic alternative live gods

All great bands, enjoy it for what it is!

  • That bass is just so bloody awesome.

  • 2:22-2:30 Chris' headbanging is just ferocious

  • why do comments about people's opinion gets the highest rated? I'm sick of it.

  • This song is pure sex. My favorite from them !

  • Radiohead are fucking astonishing. So are Muse. Now fuck off this video with your reactionary one-sided opinions.

  • why do people compare bands and fight like they were football teams?

  • * band, obviously

  • @Drakke11 No, his father died AFTER the concert when the bands was celebrating with their families.

  • MUSE is life! life is to feel......the energy of love and life.....

  • I was there that night. It was, and still is, the greatest thing I have ever seen. Period.

Pity they've gone shit lately tho :o(

  • nooo! it lagged at 1:08 ): WORST SPOT

  • If my house was on fire and this video was on, I wouldn't notice, care, or even be physically able to get out, because I wouldn't be able to stop gawking at this.

  • Dear God, that was better than sex.

  • @Medweasel you are so right :D

  • @Medweasel Hm, ok...thought about changing your partner? ;-))

  • You've got my heart and soul. Your genius saw to that.

  • Muse > World

  • LOL AT THE FACT OASIS ARE THE WORLD BIGGIST BEATLES COVER BAND?

  • @MrSpaces Lol at the fact that Muse are the World's biggest Radiohead cover band?

  • @peskyseagull no wrong

  • @NarcolepticFilmer I was only joking, Muse blow every other band away.

  • @peskyseagull No.

  • @ThebigJBIG May I direct you to a comment I made when someone else challenged that joke before? It's like two lines away, I didn't hide it, its pretty easy to see.

  • @peskyseagull Oh yeah, haha, sorry man :)

  • why the fuck are there flags on a concert? muse must be fucking god!

  • Can anyone tell me what effect and pedal Matt is using from 1:40?

  • @Esskay950 whammy and delay

  • @manchiloco Thank you! =D

  • @manchiloco a shit load of Delay!! haha

  • To those that dont know, Dom's father died when he was watching this concert from heart attack, during the presentation. Dom only knew that at the final of the concert.

  • @Drakke11 so he died with a smile on his face ;)

  • good good these shots only last like half a second. ADD much

  • This was one of Muse best EVER gigs.

  • imPLOOODE! =)

  • You know what, this is the first time that I've heard this song...

    I LOVE IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love the lab coat

  • MUSE. IS. GOD.

  • MUSE IS GOD.

  • you gotta dig matt's gear (guitar, mic stand, coat, etc)

  • In 2004, Howard's father, William Howard, came to watch Muse's performance at Glastonbury 2004, a concert which Bellamy described as "the best gig of our lives" Just after their performance finished, William died from a heart attack. - wikki -

    nuff said... go muse

    rip mr Howard

  • @bozaki87 That's so sad. He would have been so amazing ecstatic to be screaming "That's MY KID UP THERE!" as thousands of people screamed their songs. What way to leave this earth. R.I.P.

  • @bozaki87 howard's last name is howard? so he was howard howard?

  • @jazzypotato Dominic Howard....

  • @bozaki87 daaaaamn dude, youre serious!?

  • @sheikoverlord89 jup tis true and official - muse can give you a heart attack. what a great way to go :)

  • They haven't changed.

Their performance in 2004 and in 2010- still as good as ever.

  • Pyramid stagee! cooool (:

  • Tomorrow!

  • @peskyseagull THEY WERE AMAZING TONIGHT!

  • Omg, everytime they make me wanna learn how to play the electric guitar!!!

  • I hate the beggining of the vid cause they should've shown Chris playing his amazing bass part that's out of this world instead of Matt pointing to the sky. I don't hate Matt but he's not everything.

  • well Oasis is my favourite band, with Muse being a close second. But that doesn't mean that I think Oasis is the better band, they're my favourite band. Muse is definitely the better band (talent, lyrics, etc.) but Oasis just speaks to me more and is more special to me, personally. The Beatles are the best band, of course, but they are in no way my favourite.

  • @apmsavard91 the beatles-sorry dude Elvis

  • @deannejahman

    Elvis-sorry dude Queen ;)

  • muse are like the serial hardcore rapists. nothing beats them. its hysterical!!

  • Comment removed

  • What a crap..

  • gotta love matts lab coat :D

  • @kukubird210 very kurt cobain ish... lol

  • I saw this live about two months ago and Matt played the bass part along with chris on the guitar in the intro. I have to say it was probably the best version of Hysteria I had ever heard. This obviously kicks ass though. And MAJOR lol at the people saying that Oasis is better than Muse!! hahahah XD That's good. Thanks for the laugh.

  • i saw them in september at the den and i am seeing them at glastonbury and i am seeing next september in manchester its going to be fucking awesome !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Quality isnt too good. Awesome song though.

  • who's oasis? this is a response to the Oasis/Muse argument- I thought it would post right by it, but I guess not

  • who's oasis?

  • FangedDragon01,I dare you to form a band and try to play this to the quality they do here and every other time. You'll soon stop criticizing the best live band in the world.

  • @FangedDragon01

^ OMG! Hahaha, excuse me but you wouldn't know a awesome live song if it punched you in the balls!

  • I dare you to form a band and try to play this song to the quality it is played here, and everytime. You'll soon stop criticizing the best live band in the world

  • @FangedDragon01

I'm going to agree with you on the guitar part. In videos it always seems as though the guitar is quiet. I personally have no idea why, but in concert is sounds just perfect. They really are a live band. You haven't heard Muse until you've heard them live. There's really no comparison between video and concert.

  • flints... no , you would be wrong and mattius999 would be correct . Is there a KIDA on their resume ??? I think not just because you have their poster on your ceiling

  • Not a fan of the cut bbc did for this song. The beginning is Chris moment not Matts why have the amera focused on matt whos not even playing

  • @nendo it's coz he's a bass player, there seems to be some form of prejudice against them, this was in 2004 of course, hysteria at teigmouth was a much better "bass inclusive" edit.

  • But the dvd edit for glastonbury was so much better. ITs because the video editors though it was gonna start with matt most probably

  • @nendo could not agree more. the dvd cut featuring chris is epic. chris is a monster.

  • I really think muse and radiohead are more different than people make out. Dunno why exactly but what i do know is radiohead have been around for a much longer time than muse and i have always hated their music...i've tried to like it but it has never done anything for me. then muse come along, from day one i heard their first album been my favourite band by a mile. if they're so similar why do they appeal to such different people?

  • @hjastroi Saying that they appeal to such different people is basically a lie. At least 50% of Muse fans who actually have much of an opinion in good music also listen to Radiohead. Almost every Muse fan I know also loves Radiohead, they are fairly similar bands in the grand scheme of things.

  • @EpicShinyLapras you could be right for all i know, i can only speak for the handful of friends i haave actually spoken to about it. What i can tell you for is a fact is already written in my original comment, i hate radiohead and would honestly say without a shred of muse bias, as i have held this view for years, that they are probabloy my least favourite hyper succesful band. muse on the other hand, are my fave band in their own right. to me they obviously aint that similar

  • @hjastroi I think 'Paranoid Android' might be the best song ever created... I'm not sure though. What interests me about the connections is that Radiohead named themselves after the Talking Heads song. I'm a big Talking Heads fan... and lots of their music is hard to listen to. I'm a huge Kate Bush fan... same thing. I'm a Hitchhikers fan. I'm going to Teignmouth and Exeter in a few months. Also, all of Radiohead are music grads except the young lead guitarist... and he sounds like Matt sometime

  • I like Muse and Oasis equally (and Radiohead a tiny tiny bit less only out of personal preference). Personally I think Oasis perfected rock and roll, while Muse is revolutionizing it. It's very apples and oranges, but gtfo if you say any of these bands straight up suck.

  • Oasis can best be described by one of their album titles, "Standing on the Shoulders of giants", in this case the Beatles. It's not to say Oasis was bad, or a complete rip-off, but they were just so heavily inspired by them. Although some may say Muse is a Radiohead spin-off, in actuality Muse are for the most part original. Anyway, Oasis hasn't been the same for a long time, Noel and Liam's fraying relationship meant the band would always go the way it did.

  • @rc0ll MUSE is definitely far more technical that Radiohead ...

    good comparison though ...

  • I like both Muse and Radiohead about as much as each other, but there is no way that Muse are more technical.

  • @mattius999 I disagree. Personally I think Muse blows Radiohead out of the water in almost every aspect. Muse does Radiohead better than Radiohead does Radiohead lol. Although I think Muse is extremely original and has evolved in amazing ways since showbiz. One of the most evolved bands ive ever heard. Listening to showbiz, then the resistance is just crazy. So much talent!

  • @flints muse is my favorite band, but i don't think they're 'far' more technical. muse just has more fuzz and distortion and dom just bangs on the cymbals a little bit more than, phil. when i try to do covers, especially bass, i have more trouble with radiohead songs than i do with muse.

  • how do u spell muse

  • Chris is a GOD!!!! :)

  • That guitar is awesome :P made from a WWII plane wreckage

  • Fuck yeah

  • I'm digging Matt's white coat

  • Muse > Oaisis

  • @YouCantDeleteDenzelL muse is so easily better than oasis it's a fucking joke! oasis is a pop band, muse brings SO MUCH more to the table than oasis could ever dream of! muse has so many influences it's hard to keep track, but in my opinion to even mention oasis and muse in the same sentence is a disservice to muse! oasis is not a bad band, but they write catchy pop songs, muse's music and definitely the lyrics are oh so much deeper!

  • AMEN

  • dosent muse>oasis mean that he likes muse more than oasis?

    ofc muse pwns oasis

  • Although i am a massive massive Oasis fan i have to agree wholeheartedly with this comment. also being a Muse fan and a musician it is clear that Bellamy is a modern musical genius with a style completely unique to anyone else. in terms of songwriting, composition and performance he's got all round game and Oasis dont come close in terms of natural musical talent and innovation

  • @oxrjbizzle1984y Muse are better musicias obiously and dont take it bad they are one of my favorite bands but to diss the impact that Oasis has made on the brits culture....please....and Bellamy as a lyricist is not that great in fact that is ,in my opinion, his only weakness...Noel Gallagher on the other side is capable of write classic melodic songs with just an acoustic guitar, if that is not natural talent i dont know what it is...

  • @oxrjbizzle1984y well Muse and Oasis are my 2 favourite bands...they have both very different styles and Oasis isnt really pop its rock n roll, no way its pop. and please dont say mentioning Oasis in the same sentance its bad, my friend if u said that on a Oasis video u would get neverending bad comments.

  • @oxrjbizzle1984y Not to be pedantic or anything, but you used Muse and Oasis in the same sentences four times.

  • @oxrjbizzle1984y

To be fair, influences and personal interpretation don't have much to do with "good" music. It's more to do with Oasis being inherently shite.

  • @oxrjbizzle1984y EVER HERD OF POCUPINE TREE?

  • @PuReNiRvANA1 There's no such band as Pocupine Tree. You may have meant Porcupine Tree, however.

  • @oxrjbizzle1984y

oasis is rock not pop btw.

and as an oasis fan i have to admit that muse is better cause oasis is over its prime.

cheers to the most successful band from 1995 to 2005.

  • @Kanasai1911 Pop? xd WTF XD!

  • @oxrjbizzle1984y correct.....oasis not a patch on muse, wot av they ever done statseide xcept 2 aborted tours cos of over inflated egos!!!!!!

  • @oxrjbizzle1984y You talk about catchy pop songs? Mate I have news for you, Muse is the most fuckin "pop/rock" band of our time, I like both bands and I like Muse more than Oasis but at least Oasis never done music for stupid teen movies... get your facts right, anyway they are great bands so stop comparing.

... Blur, now thats fucking class go and listen to them.

  • @jacobygreenwood i like blur! beetlebum is one of my favorite songs, but i dont like a lot of their real soft stuff! too soft for me! and yes i agree muse has elements of pop of course, but they are not nearly as poppy or radio-friendly as oasis! the falsetto vocals that bellamy often uses actually are extremely non radio friendly! and how could you ever call muse the most pop rock band of our time, are you joking??? especially their first 3 albums and the dead star ep, not poppy at all!!

  • @jacobygreenwood if they make music for a teen movie doesn't mean is pop, i mean, Radiohead let Twilight to use their music and radiohead isn't so pop u know

  • @oxrjbizzle1984y There's also the minor detail that Oasis are complete and utter shit.

  • @oxrjbizzle1984y So effing true

    BRAVO BRAVO!

  • Them knob'eads can only call themselves "any good" when they come out with a song that's as good as this one. Oh wait - they broke up.

    MATT BELLAMY = GOD

  • BEST BAND LIVE

  • what the hell?

  • Oasis are nothing compared to MUSE! Oasis Blow.

  • mate muse and oasis are my favorite bands, only coz people that dont know oasis relate them to wonderwall and ballad crap, i like there rock stuff, look up the turning, supersonic, slide away, do you know what i mean

  • @samiproskater

First of all, they are so differente, oasis its more rock & roll and Muse Rock Alternative.

I prefer Muse but calling Oasis crap its stupid.

  • i love oasis im only syaing taht coz teh average public dont like them hahaha i like both... muse is more talented, but oasis has more soul and heart

  • @samiproskater exactly many people simply dont pass over the Gallagher "bad boy" image and wonderwall and they fail two see that brillant as fuck band that revived guitar music, that made they name with anthem after anthem and that with such a simple sound managed to win over critics and haters...oohh and there is no Muse album that can compete with the nuclear impact of Def. Maybe yes not even absolution

  • @TheSeeker0666 oay i like oasis but muse are more about music and are so different!!! oasis may have revived guitar music but muse have taken it a giant leap further!!!

  • Jazzypotato, the keyboard guy is Morgan Nicholls, and in the Absolution tour he was not with Muse, he get in with Muse in the Black Holes and Revelations Tour, basically in Glastonbury and in the Absolution Tour its a 3 piece band ;)

  • its still a three piece band. Nicholls is a touring member

  • @GingerMetalMan

Yeah i know, Matt, Dom and Chris are the members that make the songs, i only say that in this performance Morgan its not with Muse yet :D

    Sorry for my english :(

  • ur english is pretty gud mate

  • they asked morgan to join them in Black wholes tours beacuse of the extensive usage of synths and effects and they neede him to handle it, besides some guitar parts in hoodoo and so on. prior to that they didn't need him

  • good to know
