@twa558 It has nothing to do with fun. It has to do with Guitar Hero's band-related games being a disgrace to the band. CCR is an amazing band and definitely in my top 10 and I refuse to see them share half a game with dozens of other artists who have nothing in common!

@SplyncRB the only band-centered game that was really awful was Van Halen, Aerosmith and Metallica were both solid games that featured great, more obscure artists that never would have been in a GH game if Neversoft was in charge of song selection (Mott the Hoople, New York Dolls, and Cheap Trick in Aerosmith. Diamond Head, Samhain, and Mercyful Fate in Metallica). The problem with GH:VH was that no one realized a head of time that Van Halen are a crappy pop band.

The reason the bands sucked so much in Van Halen is because they were picked by Wolfgang, who is a teenager (who also has never played bass in a single VH song).

So you actually like having other bands in a BAND-RELATED GAME? You really are a moron. It's a complete disgrace to the fans of the band, that the band that is supposed to get the spotlight has to share it with dozens of other bands!

@SplyncRB The readiness with which people on the internet are willing to call you an idiot based on a single statement never ceases to amaze me. Crappy is my opinion, but they are most certainly a pop band. Running with the Devil, Jump, Panama, all pop songs built around hooky riffs and catchy choruses. As far as GH vs RB, I'm definitely more of RB fan, but not every band has the variety and legacy to warrant the Beatles treatment.
