  • im 15 now and in the future.. I Will Join The Marines

  • sergeant first class CARRILLO 1:59 looks like THE DOG WHISPERER...

  • Its interesting to look into the various types of special forces units in the army, navy or airforce, throughout Canada, the U.S and the U.K. Each one has its one unique training and skills.

  • Actually nope, I'm done. That's all I had to say. The Americans DID NOT save the day, and you DO know this, so I'm out of here because I'm right. No idea why you took it upon yourself to write a nice little youtube novel to combat that statement, but hey... I don't really care why.

And also: I've served in the REG Forces for 5 years, now going on my 2nd year in the Reserves. I have fought in the GWOT with you, so that's that. I've seen friends die and so have you, so can we please fucking stop?

  • I remember SFC Carrilo when he was a PFC in my platoon back in 99 in Hawaii. Never thought he would go SF. But he was the same way back then.

  • that's carzy, i went through selections and everyone hated SFC Carillo while i was there (@1:59) . I signed a contract that stated i would not disclose what happened at SFAS and now it's on T.V.?

  • does it say rangers and special forces on his arm at time 1:38

  • back on topic, I can't believe some of these guys even thought about going SF. That yo guy looks fresher than a teenager's hymen, and he still showed disrespect after. Sarge? Call him Sergeant, you moron.

  • @tehloop Haha yes, I noticed that one right away too. Bad move, even if it just did slip out. I never did that.!

  • People need to stop arguing over these guys and the SAS. Both SAS, SF, and Navy SEALS for that matter are all as tough, smart and versatile as each other. Which ever way you look at it, they're all some fucking hard men.

  • Did you know the Dutch Korps Commando's is the hardest training in the world? #FACT

  • And I thought getting onto the NFL was hard. Props to these guys.

  • Civilized Gentlemen? Regardless of any perspective, we are still dirty filthy animals and we always will be. You can't scrub that away or hide it with your billion dollar business suit. Relative to history, today's clean, organized, civilized gentlemen are yesterday's women(no offense) Anyway, this "two weeks of hell" would be two weeks of heaven if 80% of men didn't sit in their fucking boxes all day (ie. home, work, school, etc) Wanna join special forces? Go live in the wild, 1 month. Then try

  • I love how whenever you talk about the SAS, you Yanks automatically say they are irrelevant, or that they are nothing. You Yanks just can't handle someone being better than you.

  • @LordWellington15 Such an unbecoming attitude, when if it weren't for us bloody inferior Yanks, you'd all be wearing lederhosen (lucky) or have nothing left but a series of burned-out craters (unlucky). I'll give it to the UK for pioneering the fields of unconventional warfare and espionage, but this unjustifiable swagger is hardly the conduct of a civilized gentleman.

  • @fmcc0904 Please don't think we're all like that, i have nothing but respect for America and would gladly fight alongside any american soldier to the death be it for the freedom of England or the interests of the USA.

  • @HomeMadeGunNut The feeling is mutual to any Soldier/Marine of the UK.

  • @fmcc0904 You guys remember WW1? When the British created their own propaganda, (lies), and dragged a completely unprepared America. BTW, France and Brittish were getting completely wrecked. Just though I'd add that. I would not want to fight for England.

  • @fmcc0904 Here we go now, the "AMERICANS SAVED THE DAY" attitude put into good use.

  • @2SixGraders It's called historical fact, not an attitude. Read a few books.

  • @fmcc0904 Americans didn't save the fucking day. It's widely known that Canadians were the fiercest fighters during WWII. But you fucking fools waited almost 3 years to do anything, so that makes you guys pretty fucking brilliant. The USSR did more than your fucking American asses will ever do. You sir, read a fucking book.

  • @2SixGraders Wow. Someone goes for propaganda and purely-subjective, opinionated views. Look here, you sarcastic, ignorant prick - the Supreme Allied Command was headed by one of our Generals, and reluctance to become involved in WWII came from the fact that we were roped into WWI (which was a PURELY European conflict). Of course anything printed in the UK would paint Canadians as being better fighters, as Canada was still largely under British rule. The Russians nearly lost their -c-

  • @2SixGraders -c- fucking capital to the Nazis, and were completely floored by their breach of the non-aggression pact. I remind you that they didn't manage shit until it was a truly 2-front war, as the UK was in purely defensive mode and the "Free French" were in exile until the U.S. joined the Allies. I'd also remind you that our bombers, launched from there, were the only ones to undertake daylight bombing and -c-

  • @2SixGraders -c- therefore inflicted heavier damage on Nazi infrastructure than blindly dropping into the night based on airspeed and bearing (like the RAF). I revise my previous statement: read something that isn't written from nationalist perspective. That war was going very poorly indeed, and the fact is that Hitler didn't even need to actually conquer all of Europe and Asia with his armies. Another few years, and he may have had nuclear capability. -c-

  • @2SixGraders -c- Allow me to again hearken your memory to who built the first of those, shed the largest portion of blood in the Pacific, and ultimately ended the entire conflict by deploying the first 10-kiloton warheads in that Theater against an enemy that refused surrender. Oh, right. Now kindly go on somewhere with your uneducated little ingrate self.

  • @2SixGraders Oh, and one more note - I seriously doubt you personally have served a day in uniform. I actually have, in this era, and have taken part in the GWOT. I'll have you know I've also served alongside allied countries, and I have NEVER heard this caliber of ignorance from any of those service's members. You, sir, are truly sad and pathetic. Get a damn life outside of trolling videos (without a leg to stand on, at that). Have a nice day.

  • @fmcc0904 Look, I realise you are American, so of course you only really have an American view on the second great war. Saying that the Americans saved the day is an outright fucking lie, and you fucking know it. It's something called a combined effort, COMBINED EFFORT. I'm not going to pretend any longer that you don't know the sacrifice that the USSR has made so I'm going to make no comment on that matter no longer. But I am going to go with the Canadian stand. CONTINUED ---

  • @fmcc0904 And seriously? Ignorance? Because I said that the Americans didn't save our bloody asses in World War II? That's laughable sir, very fucking laughable. Jesus you must have an extreme case of Dyslexia to read my comment and make it into some Military bashing hate speech.

  • @2SixGraders You're the one who decided to ignore the weight of history. And I suppose every military force in the world has its share of idiots. It's foolish to think that the U.S. has a monopoly on issuing weapons and orders to complete fucking morons. You are correct on one score though - you are done. Blocked. Fuck off.

  • @fmcc0904 As a member of the Canadian Forces Reserve, I have an enormous about of respect for the American Military (All branches). Next week, members of my Unit are travelling to Virginia and conducting training operations with the American National Guard. 2SixGrader has probably never worked with Americans and does not know their high level of commitment and professionalism that your military possess. You'll always have your neighbours to the North to fight along side you!

  • @DMCoady82 amount***

  • @LordWellington15 the rivalry between the UK and the US has always been more of a sibling rivalry all in good fun.

the next generation like you always take what their parents say too far.

  • @TheRaellz Not where I am from. And what do you mean next generation? I was born in the 60's. Second, you Yanks revolted against our King, and through out all things British, therefore you are not our friends. You may be our allies, but not our friends.

  • @LordWellington15

"Threw out," dear sir. For being so loyal to your king, who went insane as the years passed I might add, you can't even properly use of the most basic and simple words in the English language. I guess that is a side-effect common to a self-professed lord and his similar noble brethren from years of inbreeding.

  • @LordWellington15 And like what you're doing is no different from what we supposedly do?

  • 10:17 -Candidate!

    - What's up?

    LOL!

  • I really want to know how Green Berets kept track of all the candidates, in training, back during WW2. I bet they lost some people in the woods and died there.

  • @cellardoor199991 I'm not sure green berets were around in world war 2 dude.

  • @JaysonDLloyd Or whenever they started. I know they didn't have all this tech. to keep track of students, especially in the Winters when it snows.

  • @cellardoor199991 I think the green berets came around in the Vietnam era. But I'm not sure. So if it were Vietnam era they may have had some things to use. Believe it or not there were night vision scopes used in the Vietnam war. But they were very new and not high tech or common.

  • @cellardoor199991 I think it was the Korean War

  • Once again, shut the fuck up about the goddamn SAS. holy shit this is an AMERICAN unit

  • @papacharlie123 What do you mean? The SAS aren't relevant to the conversation? Or Green Berets are superior simply because of their nationality?

  • Statistically the SAS selection is harder out of 250 apps around 4 make it in.

  • 2:23 ?!

  • @Llapjan4ever illu

  • 05.34 Arnie never had a problem with it when facing the predator. All he did was cover himself with mud ;)

  • i felt bad for #43

  • 1:29 Yo? What am I your friend or something?

  • No match for the British SAS. Who Dares Wins!

  • @IMrNuminous SAS is no match for 1'st SFOD-D. The strongest military on our planet has the best Operators.

  • something tells me they aren't so nice when the cameras are turned off

  • @Klassickk

Its all a mind fuck in SFAS, so some of them are like that all the time. They have all the power and control if your selected or not. They have already done it, and there are not Drill Sgts.

  • USMC!!!

  • HEY YO!

  • this is the civilian version of Hey i want to be Special Forces. try the Military Version. There are Three tabs that make a true operator. Three.

  • @MacPointMan Ranger , Special Forces, Sapper ?

  • @SuperSoldier4Freedom

Airborne, Ranger, SF.. ranger= short tab, SF= Long Tab. Also called the triple canopy

  • Candidate what is your oscar number looks sleepy candidate what is your oscar number answers whats up best line ever.

  • Damn trully the last guy deserves to be a green beret!''Waiting for daylight'' HAHAHAHAH dude you are a beast!I never would have thought about that!

  • Why are the Instructors Dickheads towards the candidates?

  • @indirulz1234 Two weeks to separate the weak from the strong, no time for Mr. NiceGuy.

  • @indirulz1234 lol u serious? if your instructor was buddy buddy with you....would you respect the course at hand? or even him? i want someone who will push me towards my breaking point to make me better than to have a softy where because of his kindly behavior can ultimately endanger me and those around me.

  • @indirulz1234 I hope you dont plan on joining the military. Its the military, not the boy scouts

  • hey you....youre an asshole

  • is it just me or did SFC CARRILLO chew out the wrong canidate? he came down on 35 ( guy with glasses ) who did not say " YO " instead of the other guy who's weapon got token; and he said " YO " fail Sarge, but still THANKS FOR UR SERVICE! U.S.A. peace and prosperity to all

  • How the fuck do you navigate at night with out a night?

  • @kpoff5128 I mean without a light :)

  • @kpoff5128 well, depending what moon it is,you can get light from the moon, and using stars helps alot when their isn't enough moonlight(if you know some constellations or certain stars

  • @kpoff5128 you use your map, compass and a pace count. you can use your map when stopped to make sure you're going to the right place

  • @JBird217 either way I am still impressed

  • at 0:22 the instructors haircut is not Army standard is it???

  • @yourkidkabaap special forces can have any haircut they want. They can have facial, too. Special forces are unconventional including Special Forces instructors.

  • I went to SF Selection in June 2001, the cadre didn't have those tracking device t-shirts back then. That is crazy!!! It would of help being some yahoo got lost and the Cadre took about 3 hours to find him after the Star Course time was completed.

  • are most green berrets former rangers?

  • hey the last guy was awsome just forgot to unhook the tracking device tied to his chest ....good idea with the vest buddy

  • I like at 9:57 buy the dvd Two weeks on hell !! ahahah

  • "noises will scare them..."

fuck, these guys must be really tough

  • wtf? scared of woods??????? in tropical countries we go straight into the darn tropical forest, now that's scary

  • @kit33389 If someone lives in an urban area their whole life, the woods will be a strange environment for them, especially at night

  • 8:25 "whats up?" lol idiot

  • how many points are they meant to find

  • A stroll through the forest never looked so viciously painful.

  • I got a question, i understand why they cant use flashlights, but in a forest its impossible to see anything further than your nose if the moon isnt full..how are they ever gonna walk and stay away off roads..not to mention finding the points

  • @sunburningstare plus what if there are wild animals that might attack them. that might seem stupid but couldnt there be like a snake of some kind?

  • @sunburningstare never mind. its a forest, not a jungle. lol

  • "You gotta be kidding me..." LMAO

  • SFC Carrillo is cool

  • "Yo? What am I friend, are we buddys or somthin'? Yo?" That was funny

  • @snoopylover4000 LMAO!

  • if they have to find things, how the hell are they supposed to find those things if they're in the dark

  • hits my username and look up my personal website where you will acquire the

    website you want .

  • i would be dead after all that log excersize and what not but the woods part no matter how dead tired and worn out my body was id love it cause i love the woods just being around them.. but who knows iv never done what they have done..

  • hahahaha that last guy was awesome. He should get a pass for being creative.

  • ...movement in the direction of a pentagram mmmn yes very sinister indeed..

  • Can someone explain the score card thing? I dont get it

  • @TheMamaluigi2 Scorecard is where the candidates enter their scores. They must find 10 "points" that are scattered in the woods. That is why the leader wants to see the scorecard to see how many points they have found

  • "Hey yo." Poor guy didn't even get to finish his sentence, he was just trying to help his buddy. XD

  • WOW! Wait a minute? 1:50 SFC Carrillo. shouldn't every soldier do line navigation on their basic training? Why would soldiers joining a highly skilled special ops unit go into the course without doing navigation when it is a nessecary skill to pass!?!?! Sure, Im not really great at Nav but atleast I did it.

  • @Crucible52 Hes talking about the POGS

  • Cooks and mechanics can get into Special Forces Selection?

  • Comment removed

  • @wasabi622 anyone can do sf but theres only certain jobs available within sf

  • @stl21moore @wasabi622

*any MALE can APLLY to TRY OUT for special focres

  • @wasabi622 It does not matter in what MOS you are... If you meet the prerequesites, then you can try out. Of course, it will not be the same for example for a former ranger than for a cooker: the cooker will have it a lot harder.

  • 1:30 what a douche bag

  • why would you try and cheat and risk all you have worked for? dumb ass

  • Why do these guys suck so much and haven't done shit like land nav or stayed in the woods?

  • lmao there is no easy way out. try and cheat the system and the system ends up cheating you!!!!!!

  • 4 people adressed the sarge as "hey,yo"

  • i wanna do this when i grow up i can navigate my way through woods i can pick up 100 pound log/need support tho don't wanna get a hernia i can say that i was almost born in the back woods of north carolina

  • @rob81672 1000 pound log

  • @rob81672 There's more than just being able to navigate through the wood. You have to be smart. Get good grades and take three years of a language.

  • Anyone know why SFC. Carrillo spoke to that candidate like that? I realize he didn't call him Sergeant Carrillo, but the candidate did the right thing by calling SFC. Carrillo out.

  • @masteradnin I called my coach dude and he made me do pushups all practice

  • @masteradnin They are there to break you mentally and physically and push you to your limits 99.9% of the time you are out there, they are looking for ways to constantly make you feel insuperior

  • @masteradnin the candidate was wrong by addressing the SFC that way. You never address someone who out ranks you, especially a SFC by "Yo,..." and the SFC Carrillo was testing the other candidate's awareness, which he failed because SFC Carrillo was able to walk as far away as he did.

  • Fucking idiot! Why disobey the rules!? I understand why and all, but seriously, that's the stupidest thing you can do is to blatantly ignore your given orders.

  • The Girl scouts of America are the best. With only a scarf and cookies they can infiltrate and destroy a nation without even getting a scratch. Chuck Norris even taught them to swim through a hot asphalt parking lot

  • why wuold you sleep on a navigation... so fucking stupid

  • LOL, I made a mistake like what candidate did by calling to the sfc like "hey yo." When I first met my Ssgt, he wasn't in his uniform, so i didn't know who he was and just called him "dude." BAD mistake lol

  • An insight of what bear grylls went through

  • @MrDoable

bear grylls went through SAS selection not green berets

  • @bowlerama2 I didn't mention or imply that he was with the green berets? gb is with america and not britian. I know that.

  • whats the min/max age limit?

  • This exercise would probably be a LOT of fun if one hadn't first been juggling a 1000 lb log and rolling in the mud for hours...

  • @Beauxdeauxfinglok i heard them say 5000 wow lmao

  • @TFGRUNT00 aaah right!!! makes sense now, thanks! :)

  • i wouldnt want to have my headlight on anyway...id want my eyes to adjust the whole time..

  • if they gave me a destination, i might be able to find it pretty quickly...maybe..in the dark, u just need to gather your thoughts and use what you have, compass, stars, moon, geographic signs, common sense. but i dont know, ive never done it...i think i would go fast as humanly possible..just to impress...id probley end up in a hole somewhere..lol..idk

  • could anybody explain to me how the sergeants expect them to find their way to specific points in pitch blackness?

  • Im not in the millitary, but a lot of these soldiers do not hold there weapon in the right manner. This would not be acceptable in a lot of other Armed Forces around the world.

  • @DutchPetriot They're dummy weapons. Rubber ducks. Ordinarily that would be unacceptable, but they're a little tired, in case you hadn't noticed.

  • @DutchPetriot If you hold the weapon in the right manner while running or on long cross-country distance marches it becomes very uncomfortable. While i was doing Para training in the UK we had to carry our weapons for a full week in full gear all day, and we was fucked then! My shoulders were killing! So considering these guys have just been carrying a log of 1000 Pounds the day before and doing nothing but drills. Id think there pretty tired! Lol.

  • malaysian special is the best special force..they safe us army in operation black hawk down..do you remember it..???

  • @TheAkukahaku they were armored troops not special forces

  • so if you acidently walk into the road they kick you out

  • isnt giving away what goes down in training military secrets of training

  • @TheBumpy1000 I've been asking myself that too.

  • wow! im actually impressed by the last guy! if i was a trainer, i'd choose him... cz the enemy may have night vision goggles but they wont have PCs on you so he would be the only one who wouldnt be detected! well done candidate :)

  • @rambo111999000 nice attempt at trolling, but flat out insults like that don't really do it anymore

  • @guitarhero2211 i was being serious you idiot

  • @rambo111999000 ok ok. the joke has gone on long enough. you can let it go now. you gave us all a good laugh

  • 3:02 it is so interesting to see such a young person achieve so much i am proud of them but it feels like that guy is the cool drill sergeant.

  • "People who have never been outdoors" What the hell are these people doing trying to be green berets?

  • @1337hacks I'm sure a few are civilians going through the 18X program. Special Forces, or any elite group for that matter is a common goal. Many people strive to be the best, and will always believe they are a good candidate no matter what. Perhaps they can meet all the physical and mental requirements, but their outdoor and phobia awareness isn't what they thought it was until they put in that situation.

  • I never knew you could put decals on your weapon

  • combigokuiaynn

  • hey yo

  • I want to join the British forces, but I cant navigate for shit..i'll train myself hard.

  • I read a quote of a former Spetsnaz to a former Green Beret, after observing SF training. He said, if Russia and the US had gotten into a war, the US would've won, because our Special Forces take the best and train them for the worst conditions and train for the unpredictable and train for the unexpected; the Spetsnaz merely tried to be the best.

  • @BlueZuluFoxtrot worst conditions, you ever had you arms tied behind your back, a bag over your head, and you DI fuck you up for about a minute which feels like an hour

  • @BlueZuluFoxtrot Could you link me to that quote?

  • @MetalSights After much searching I found it. My memory was incorrect though, it was a statement made to a SEAL, not an SF soldier. The statement was about all US special operations training methodology though, and it's a good couple paragraphs either way. It's in the book Leadership Lessons of the Navy SEALs on page 64 (71 of 138 in the pdf), last 4 paragraphs. YouTube won't let me post the link here but if you Google the book name, the full PDF of the book comes up.

  • @BlueZuluFoxtrot Ahh, thank you! I'm going to have to refer back to this book.

“That is why, if there had been a war between the United States and the Soviet Union, you would

    have won.”

That statement was made by a former member of a Soviet commando team. I was talking to him in

the Baltics after the fall of the Berlin Wall."

Never thought I'd see a Russian admit anything. Thanks for re-finding it for me, I'll have to keep reading through it and possibly use it as a reference. Thanks!

  • @BlueZuluFoxtrot yeah right. I also read a quote once by someone really cool and tough who said the US of A was easily the best at everything too.

  • @wigarmy I put info on how to find a PDF of the book online a few entries up. You can see the quote for yourself. It's not that the USA is easily better than everyone, it's that ours and British training methodologies are different from most other countries in that they force people to deal with incomplete or innaccurate information and chaos as part of the training to simulate war conditions.

  • British army owns all

  • CANDIDATE!!--What's up?

  • @reknowvator11 im rapeing my slef

  • I am a retired special forces NCO...I know and have work with both the seal's and delta.

And if anyone really new the differents in the Mission's of these 3 elite unit's..not to discount the Marine Force recon, and the army rangers...

They are all great at what THEY DO!

  • (cont'd) My entire family, on my dad's side, is a veteran. This includes myself and brothers. My grampa was a WW2 vet and my dad a Vietnam vet. My grampa was talking shit about my dad's "pssy-ass" bootcamp. Just as my dad was pointing out things from our bootcamp. It has ALWAYS been like this. That's just the way it is. Just like Sailors say," Work SMARTER, not HARDER."

Thanks for posting we all appreciate it.

  • As a soldier myself i would say bravos to these man and all special forces

with no light u cant even back azimuth :) count the paces or get lose

    respect

  • There is no "who's the best" it's who goes in alive and comes out alive.

  • someone puked once : o ?

  • @ragnaroffel Yeah, they have no food, no sleep, and cant stop walking.
