And I'm sure all CP tubers agree with me of I say that Gong Yoo's acting chops was really good. He made the character of Han Kyul so believable that he was really falling for a guy and how he acted the emotions and pain was so convincing we want to cry and feel his pain and agony as well. And at last with this series Eun Hye has proven her critics on her acting prowess that she could do dramas as well as she plays fun characters like in Goong through Coffee Prince.
The chemistry between Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye are natural. Sure Eun Hye was popular as being Janelle but I do believe that her status skyrocketed after Coffee Prince ended as well as Gong Yoo's status after winning an award of excellence with the two characters. It's not that many times we see someone try a hissy fit for a role. And admit it, we never expected Eun Hye to ever cut her hair and to actually play a guy with such excellent and believability
I do prefer Coffee Prince over Spring Waltz, sure sure Spring Waltz is good as well. What's refreshing in Coffee Prince was its storyline, have you ever seen a Koreanovela having less conflict about a love triangle? CP doesn't have much conflict, rather the focused mainly was Han Kyul and Eun Chan. Sure two other people came in but do we see a potential antagonist? No. Everyone has important roles, and has their own problems which made the supporting roles much like main cast as well.
the thing is ABS CBN loyalist are pissed that GMA got the right to air Coffee Prince.They thought that just because Yoon Eun Hye was known for her role in Princess Hours via ABS CBN, its just but normal to get the rights for Coffee Prince. Reality is that if ABS CBN really wants CP they should have made a better deal with MBC, if they really believe that Yoon Eun Hye could retain her popularity they could have done a lot more.

First, the opinion may be biased, and second, again i say, the shows are of different genres. Definitely it's up to you which one would you enjoy the most: drama or comedy?
as for me i watch them both, enjoy ang coffee prince kasi comedy, at spring waltz sa sobrang drama at bagal ng phasing eh nakakatamad, but nice cinematography and the theme song is catchy.ü

And you can't deny the fact na yung chemistry ni han hyo joo and seo do young eh mas effective, even in simple ways like eye contact.

alam niyo ba guys kahit balik baliktarin niyo pa ang dalawang dramang yan. For me pareho pa rin silang maganda, dahil hindi lang ang mga tao ang nag create ng mga story o nag create ng film ng dalawang dramang yan. Kundi ang Panginoon. Saan ba nakakuha ng idea ang isang tao sa pag create ng isang drama na tulad nito? kundi sa Panginoon di ba? sino ba ang tutolong sa isang tao na gumawa ng story or script? ang Panginoon din di ba?

Different genres of koreanovelas, not even comparable. If the 'network battle' will interfere with the judgment, it won't be reliable. First, the opinion may be biased, and second, again i say, the shows are of different genres. Definitely it's up to you which one would you enjoy the most: drama or comedy?
as for me i watch them both, enjoy ang coffee prince kasi comedy, at spring waltz sa sobrang drama at bagal ng phasing eh nakakatamad, but nice cinematography and the theme song is catchy.ü

Actually tapos ko ng panoorin and spring waltz and coffee prince. Although sikat nga ang coffee prince sa korea because of the much popular actors and actresses unlike sa spring waltz na newcomer halos lahat ng cast, when it comes to the story, the conflict, the love story between the two lead characters, mas sincere ang dating ng kwento nila. And you can't deny the fact na yung chemistry ni han hyo joo and seo do young eh mas effective, even in simple ways like eye contact.
