Is it music? Yes.

Is it practical? In my opinion, no, not at all. This kind of kick blasting doesn't have a place outside of "HARDCORE METALS".

That said, this kind of extremely fast kick pedaling does actually take a massive amount of skill. Until you've sat down at a set and tried it yourself, it might sound easy to do, but actually doing it is a whole other story.
