I hope it's Obama, and I hope he starts a new age of wise, tough-minded leadership. We are facing global challenges as a species, and it's going to take all the change we can get to thrive in the midst of them.
These politicians say lovely sounding things like 77 billion will be spent on prevention, but do the math. That's just about $250 per American. And most of that is going to go into a hefty carrying fee so all that will be left is some dinky colorful government pamphlets giving us health care tips. Government healthcare is going to be such a boondoggle. And don't bother telling me how bad the Republicans have been on health care. I don't agree with their interference in these matters either.
Can Clinton put in writing that the tax cuts will be taken away only from people making more than $250K? Somehow I am suspicious anytime a politician talks about only impacting those under/over a specific tax bracket. Same goes for Romney's tax free saving for those with less than $200K incomes...
I agree - Ron Paul is is a purest not grounded in reality. Putting monetary policy control in the hands of the congress is in the constitution, but is crazy. Congress and the Presidents haven't been able to manage fiscal policy let alone monetary policy. Obama is a solid candidate.
Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton would be the greatest thing that could happen, actually Clinton/Obama and then Obama can run for prez after that with actual experience inside the white house!!
Hillary has no experience whats so ever, You cant credit Bill's experience on her behalf.. Hillary has about the same amount of time in the senate that Obama has. Screw the Clintons! Power hungry crooks.. Read The Clinton Chronicles. Educate yourself!!!!
So you want some hidden group of private bankers control our money supply -- private bankers that probably have ties to old European money? That is insane. You have no idea what you are saying.
Google scholar the following search terms and read what real economists are saying about autonomous central banks and their role in controlling inflation. Elected officials have a conflict of interest in making the decision not to print more money because they are only worried about the next election.
Search "autonomous central bank inflation" read someone's views besides a single candidate looking to scapegoat the FRB for the shortcoming of all ailments of the USA.

Way to put some real numbers on it. It seems that the bigger the numbers are, bigger a fantasy world people go into.

Obama is the only decent candidate in either candidate, aside from Ron Paul
jwolfie422 4 years ago
doesn't really make sense.. Are you saying Ron Paul is a decent candidate, also?

Ron Paul's shortcomings are more related to leadership style than the soundness of his policies.
