SKALP Plays Bass on Keytar

That is FUCKING BADASS!!! I have been waiting for someone to play a virtual bass instrument, I would love to make a band of all keyboards using nothing but software. Maybe just have the drums/percussion with drum pads that are played on a table-using something like Maschine(I think that's what it's called-looks like an MPC).

I'm curious on people's thoughts about 2-handed keytar playing.. I'm kinda not a fan of it, and think a smaller amount of octaves with an easy way to go up/down octaves with the left hand would help do stuff spread out without looking like you are playing a piano taped to your lap like some guys who do lots of chords and 2-handed playing. Thoughts?

Keytars are the ultimate instrument. I make beats and with one of these I could write face melting melodies all day. I'd walk around and make theme songs for everyone I met, I would have the fucking thing welded to me.

The Sound bass comes from Scarbee "Fingered", and i use Halion or Kontakt Vsti on Cubase.

Donc, si tu ne l'as pas déjà lu...

Le Keytar n'a aucun son ! C'est un clavier maitre.

Le son vient de SCARBEE "Bass Fingerded", que j'utilise dans Cubase, en passant par Halion, en Vsti.

Les sons de basses sont uniquement Acoustiques,slappés,ou frettless..une des particularités de Scarbee, en appuyant sur les touches F0 à F1 du clavier, on change la vélocité du son !

I've seen a lot of keytars sold for replacement parts or scrap...with the right know-how (not much, I might add), one could make it functional again for the fraction of the cost, with even a few possible adjustments/improvements.

The sound comes from Scarbee "Fingered Bass" used with Kontakt via Midi on Cubase.

Scarbee made a collection of incredible real sounds, like : Rhodes, Piano,Bass,Drums..;)

No, the system is not like this, you just need to press some keynote blank from F to C, & you can choose which sound type you need. ;)
