I've downloaded the divX codec and When I start up VirtualDub And click video then compression the Divx codec isn't there. What am I doing wrong?

@subscribeforcandy This was a while ago but I believe the problem was caused by having the wrong bit version of virtuadub.

not working for me. everytime i try to save file it says Video compression error: "The source image format is not acceptable." (error code -2)

when you are using divx codec and if you chose 720 resolution you'll have to go to filters and resize your file to a lower size or the same as 720 and you'll not get this error! :)
