@lauzii7537 oh i almost forgot to show you this. ttp://img13.imageshack.us/img1­3/1008/ianpaintingdirectionsou­.jpg its the sketch i made before painting (other video of mine). just take a piece of paper, put it on your screen and draw such lines that you can easily see through. it really helps getting all the proportions right and its much more fun to draw/paint then :) you should try it out! same with photoshop layers. sometimes you even see me using my light blue sketch in the video.. enjoy!

@yunarinvsxlightning Having pencils that talented people also use doesn't make you a better artist ;) There are not magical.. Just some pencils from 9B to 2H from any kind of arts stuff store.. It's pretty cheap actually.. Doesn't matter with what pencils you draw, as long as some are really soft (4B-9B) to get contrast in the drawing. I used to draw with the usual kids pencils and my drawings were just grey.. boring..

Just copy the shades you see on the photo.. thats all :)

Be careful when you're painting digitally, some people have a tendency to go over the top and it just looks muddy, but your drawing technique tells me you should be fine. :) It is hard being an art student (we have a deadline coming up for our exhibition! :s) but it's SERIOUSLY fun. I can't believe I'm ALLOWED to do this as a job!!
