  • Holy cow, the emulator flicker in this video is really bad.

  • I saw one way of skipping the Sniper Joes by shoving MegaMan into the ceiling with one of his Items so that he whizzes through the wall, but I'd call that even more ridiculous than just pausing a lot to pass through things.

  • if you pause repeatully the shots wont hurt you

  • @g8mkid but that's CHEATING

  • Ah yes, now that I look closer at the screen, I can remember how you can beat this boss with 6 Crash Bombs. However, it requires that you are VERY good at hitting the EXACT right spot with the Crash Bombs, one of them being the space between the bombable wall and the upper left Buebeam. Done right, it will take out the wall and the buebeam. 2nd is that you need to take out the two walls to the right with one Crash Bomb. Also a bit tricky, but not nearly as bad as the first one.

  • @Megatyrant Still, to do all that with no damage requires a lot of really good timing, and a LOT of luck. I doubt that I'll be able to ever pull that off. My sanity just wouldn't last long enough for me to try. :P

  • Now you're thinking with Crash Bomber!

  • I hate this boss with a passion and I also hate Silent Hillish hallways.

  • By the way, there is a way to use only use six Crash Bombers:

Hit the Crash Bomber wall and the Buebeam in the left upper corner at the same time and destroy the two Crash Bombers wall in the right down corner at the same time.

  • It would be an awesome boss if there was like an infinite amount of energy rechargers, just to not run out of energy on Crash Bomber. Like Eddie does in certain training stages in MM10.

  • Hey, Roahm, there is the possibility to beat the boss without wasting the Crash Bomber entirely. One can be placed between the topmost and the wall to the leftmost to take both out in one shot, and just below the rightmost door to take both doors out. It's possible, but tricky as hell.

  • Hey Roahm, you did beat Megaman 3 right?

Well if you did then you SHOULD know that this is completely nothing compared to triple megamans boss in Megaman 3.

  • Met is called a Hard Hat.

  • Seriously?! Who made this boss?!

  • @DullBones You SUCK, Wily...

  • @DullBones An (Beep)hole. as bender would put it. this boss can kiss my shiny metal (Beep).

  • @DullBones I don't know, but whoever made the Buebeam Trap is a sadist.

  • ...dont those perishable walls sometimes drop energy?

  • What do u do when u get hit? Reset and password?

  • Pretty much, yes.

  • @RoahmMythril Having to reset each no hit? Jeez, you have some real dedication.. i always assumed you could save state to before the irritating bits, that must be a ton of editing with levels like these or burner man or any of the nightmares

  • @RoahmMythril I thought you has an emulator.

  • @RoahmMythril What? No. In Skull Castle 2, you didn't have full item 3 in one of the outtakes AND in the actual run. And the energy box thingy was there in both, as if you just did State Save/Load, which would make more sense

  • I didn't even know you COULD dodge the Sentinel's attack.

Also, that boss gave me SO MUCH TROUBLE during my recent blind playthrough of this game.

    PURE. HATRED.

  • Guts Dozers weak point - his ass.

  • Tellies, Shinies, and a fun exersice gym. Wily is having fun, sipping tea, and laughting with glee. At least you'll show him who's boss..... or the dragon.

    NIce run, Roahm ^_^

  • I hate this boss. SO much. -_-

  • A new nightmare to add to the house.

  • 1:29

If memory serves, you can skip 80% of this room

Lets say the top ladder is above track turn #1. I think you can jump from turn #4 to the room exit. (It's been awhile since I've played the level so I might be off...)

  • OOOOO... i like revenge

Thank you roahm for bringing Revenge back from the grave

  • I actually find it quite easy to save a crash bomb.

Aim just above the gate so that it hits the BueBeam and the gate.

I don't find it all too difficult really.

  • @DriveInTake: Yeah, that gives you just enough ammo to take it out AND take out Wily Machine Form 2 with the Single Crash Bomb technique without having to die to recharge weapons.

  • 5:39 "I can has? AHH! I cannot has!"

...and thus Roahm got easily distracted by a shiny object. XD Wily appears to know how to bait you.

  • Oh dear, he's learned my weakness for shinies... X)

  • I FOUND THE SECRET TO THE FALLTHROUGHS OVER DEATH SPIKES!!!!!

look at the platform, and DONT step on the darker part, its the fallthrough

  • 2:32 - That looks easy. TOO easy... *ominous music* And yeah, I share your feelings about that boss...argh. Good old Capcom being spiteful again. That also must have the same problem that Wily Stage 1 did: if you run out of Crash Bomber (or, for that matter, miss even once), you have to get a Game Over and do the stage from the beginning.

  • @TheMartianGeek Nope, you can grind from sniper joes. You can also go back to the start, pick up the 2 energy capsules there, or farm from metools.

  • Oh? I assumed you were stuck at the boss once you reached the checkpoint before it.

  • Not quite, the Wily Stages don't set checkpoints right before the bosses. I suppose it's for just this sort of thing.

  • @RoahmMythril Which classic MM game are you worst and best at?

Also which cartoon did you love growing up as a kid?

  • Well, having gone through them all, I'd guess the ratings I gave them kind of tell there. As for cartoons, I mainly watched cartoon adaptations of video games, like Captain N, Sonic, and Super Mario Bros. Super Show. I still watch Pokemon as well.

  • Dude, that performance was legendary. Quick Man stage eat your heart out, this one looks way harder.

  • I'm very impressed to have seen you manage that boss without the pause glitch. I'm just not that good.

Cut it down to the wire on that final shot, though.

  • i will never beat this Boss no damage

    NEVER

  • I did Here is the Tip use the Pause button Like the Pause Glitch in MM1

  • Probably the nastiest boss in Megaman. Not only does it rely on you having full energy in a particular weapon, but ti tempts you into wasting it too.

  • At about 5:55, is it just me, or does Mega Man have a cooler death explosion in this game?

  • this boss is the hardest megaman boss i have ever fought; and i have played every megaman game exceot starforce and legends 2.

the trick to save a shot of the crash bombs is so hard to do i dont think its worth the trouble...

  • @TheOnlyGBeast Yeah, I saw Pink do it in her run of MM2: you can place a Crash Bomb just above the leftmost gate and it'll also take out the gun above it, but it requires a pixel-perfect jump to line up with it.

  • I love how you say "REVENGE!"

  • I found another way of getting by the bosses attack, Pause he game when the bulletets are right about to hit you, unpause the game and your not hit. I found that out by messing around in the game.

  • Right, but that's utilizing a glitch, which I don't do if I can help it.

  • Well, it was difficult to see you have to use a weapon other than the buster, but it's definitely been worth the tradeoff to see you tackle the Wily stages. Any urges to try the Wily stages from other games? I'm sure I'll enjoy whatever you choose to do next.

  • Maybe, but not any time soon. I prefer the Robot Master stages to the Wily stages, but once I run out of those, we'll see. Once MM2's Skull Castle is finished, I'll be moving on to MM5's Robot Masters, and continuing from there.

  • Not fair! That hall should have been filled with moles! XDXDXD

  • Seriously? I expected it to be X)

  • When I first seen the leef sheild power, I knew it was time for REVENGE! Awesome job, that level was very hard

  • Indeed, this one was tough, but it only gets tougher X)

  • Take a break. I'm recommending that you take a break from this and do something that's not as stressful.

Did you try scrolling him off the screen?

  • Alas, the Sniper Joe I torched doesn't move at all, so there's no real way to scroll him off or anything like that. I'm fairly sure there's no other way to get past him (well, possibly other robot master weapons, but not buster only). As for stress, I'm fine really, I just know the capsule room will indeed be tough ;)

  • Ahh. Revenge of QuickMan! XD But really, avoiding the Buebeams is just about as tough, really. I couldn't think of a better (or more possible) way to do this stage.

  • Seems I found a new trap card to add to my deck :D

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Actually, at least there's nothing else like the Buebeam Trap. If I ever get to record videos from 9 though, Tellys do return.
