HE MAY HAVE BEEN A HARD ASS, BUT A HARD ASS HARD CORE COACH LIKE FREDDIE ROACH EVEN COMMANDS DISCIPLINE, 4 ME MARCOS CAN BE CALLED A DICTATOR, MEANIE, OR KING, IN MY OPINION HE IS THE RIGHT MEDICINE FOR THAT TIME PERIOD, ARE YOU KIDDING ME IF ALL YOU OPPOSITIIONISTS OR PRO AQUINOS STILL THINK THAT YOU WILL NEED A MARCOS X"s 10 TO GET PINAS BACK 2 BEING RAMKED NO.3 IN ASIA LET ALONE NO.2 ECONOMICALLY WHEN MARCOS TOOK OVER IN 1965 WE WERE ALREADY NO.3 BEHIND THE INCHIK AND JAPON NOW NOT EVEN NO.10
@pnutmnms123 YA I AM GLAD THAT A FILIPINO HAD THE GUTS TO BE RUTHLESS, IN THE OPPOSITIONS WORDS BUT A GREAT LEADER AND VISIONAIRE WHO GAVE TOUGH LOVE AND DIRECT IMPACT ON THE PHILIPPINE PEOPLE &THE WAY THEY SHOULD ACT, CARRY THEMSELVES &VALUES &INTEGRITY & INSTILL LOYALTY AND CITIZENSHIP TRAITS THEY WOULD NEED TO EVEN RIVAL THE JAPON OR EVEN INCHIK WHO ARE EVEN MORE DEADLY, CRUEL AND DISCIPLINED IN THEIR OWN RIGHT, SHIT I MEAN HOW ELSE WILL FILIPINOS RISE OVER 2 COUNTRIES ALONE "MARCOS GENIUS!"
For the past thirty years what we read and hear about Marcos are "black propaganda" from broadcast and print media that were actually one of the sectors that were displaced by martial law. Tamaan wag magalit
@japz0021.. it didnt fail ultimately.. mga bagong president lang walang magawa sa economy so sinisi sa dating manunungkulan ng dating presidente... oo nga i agree pero bakit ganun... ang lumalabas lang na masipag at matino ay si bong bong marcos... no wait gordon too.. its either one of them
we surely failed marcos, back in the days the Demon-strators I remember watching it on t.v., my father would say look at all those idiots in the streets he would say half of them dont even know what they are marching for or joining,
some even burn the card board images of Marcos, Imelda, Philippine Flag, Ronald Reagan, Uncle Sam and the American Flag, Communists my dad would say a bunch of communist non conformists, today we are using American youtube, computers, I-phone, music Justin Bieber, American invention of internet, cellphones, etc. etc. etc. but do we see people burning these american products,
it takes years and hard work and unity and understanding practical political process some of which the govt. has to keep secret even in its economic and financial dealings we cannot have the media exploit a juicy govt. interest or classified data if it deals in advancing the country like others such as the u.s.a., japan, russia, china, germany, u.k. and other 1st world nations. The public also
has a duty to make sure that the media is not medaling in classified and secret need to know information not for the general public. Unitl the people are controlled and also respect what the govt. does we will never become a viable great or 1st world nation nor a economic power house, look at America alone it has very great to excellent intelligence gathering and safe gaurd if a tiny small journalist or news
agency stumbles on juicy subjects or matter you bet your socks the CIA will neutralize and take charge of the situation, just like Marcos use to do, but when Marcos was ousted all this has gone out the door, now look at Philippines even the Inchik think they can bully us around since they have now communist moles and
spies heavily spread around Philippines especially this Nonoy familia of Aquinos, no wonder the U.S.A. back Marcos for 21 years Solid, even the Americans knows who are best leader was !! he was even an ex military soldier and veteran of world war 2, Marcos is the best Since 1965 Period ! no doubt about it !!
looking at history the phillipines has decayed since 1935.... the road to perdition is now visible ( daan matuwid diretso sa bangin ) at present we are cliffhanging .....the reason is FILIPINOS are all INTELLIGENT.... our burning desire for freedom...keep us the slave of IGNORANCE....: > ) and reality is we are NOW merely slaves of foreign interest..: > )
commission agents on Nat’l debt payments & procurements, kfr , bank robbery & carnapping ).

This President is the best leader we had in our country... patalsikin ang mga Aquino.. Lopez at Cuangco sa Pilipinas.. They're not Plipino.. they're Chinese... Bongbong Marcos for President this 2016.. We have to change, our country to Parliamentary system..
@zey103 marcos is the best president of the country had ever...we need a iron-hand to run our country...our naive & gallible masses are the easy pray by corrupted politicians...let history justice...
@sakitakungtyan YES I BACK THAT STATEMENT UP 100% NO MORE WASTING TIME MARCOS FOR PRESIDENT LETS BRING BACK THE GOOD OL DAYS AND LETS GET RID OFF ALL THOSE WHO WERE EASILY FOOLED DURING EDSA86 WE DONT NEED ANY MORE UNEDUCATED POOR, RICH OR MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE WHO ARE HYPTNOTIZED BY THE MEDIA AND TAKE TO THE STEETS...MARCOS PA RIN KAMI SOLID FOR PHILIPPINES, LETS DO THIS PHILIPPINES LETS MOVE FWD NOT BACKWARDS AGAIN WITH A GAY HOMSEXUAL SINGLE 50YR OLD PRESIDENT WHO ALSO HAD FAKE GIRLFRIEND WOW !

@lumbiaknight87 Sir, for many people Marcos is still the greatest since 1965 by far, as a Loyalist I am for Freedom with Direction, not the Oppositions promise of just freedom without "Any Direction", I am still awaiting the re installment of a Loyalist back in power or another Marcos. I read your comment and I thought it was a very good opinion but also I had to express my opinions also, Despite so many false negative journalism & tabliod writings against Marcos after thru the late 70's and on!
sayang ang talino ni FM..if you notice, what he is saying in this video holds true at present..too,he failed to mention reforms in the military which was one factor that led to his downfall..still,no one can dispute the fact that he was a visionary and could have been a great president...sayang..
remember Marcos and the U.S. dont like any Opposition! especially if your working on making your country strict, organized, united and able to carry out orders in everything from defending the shores, working as a industrial machine and backing strong presidents who give a dam about the bansa, the same amount of participation and energy in rallying, protesting, marching and gathering should be used in supporting a Loyal and Practical president such as once Pres. Ferdinand Marcos of R.P.
@mrBullsheet I just visited your youtube page and alot of people are calling you and idiot, and one even commented that you live upto your name MRBULLSHEET that one was a classic, but really Marcos is not a criminal if you would actually listen and follow court room battles that Imelda has done over the years Ferdinand Marcos was never a killer, assassinator or thief...all those stories and I say stories are written by none other than journalism buddies & friends of Baboy Benigno Aquino PERIOD!
Aysus yang ninoyaquino.tv (uploader sa dami nang PRO AQUINO VIDEOS dito sa YOUTUBE) gusto puro positive lahat ng negative block nila
ayaw nila makita ang katotohanan
So much for freedom of speech I thought that Aquino is face of Freedom yet you see more exercise of freedom on Marcos videos and his supporters, Who is the Real CHAMPION OF FREEDOM, Non other than Ferdinand Marcos of Philippines and all of his followers THANKS BE TO GOD AND THE HIGHEST, MARCOS PARIN KAMI !!
@toogoodfella - apperantly you cannot teach or even easier for the hard headed to think and understand history, dont read what a journalist, or writer who has bias views to Marcos, read statistics and cover facts relating to govt. achievements compared to his time and after Edsa86, why do you think more and more people done like the Aquinos fake freedom B.S. and voted for Erap, as time goes by the truth unfolds and people can alone do their own homework to see why it is Marcos was truely better!
This is what I am talking about, you have communists, non conformists and Oppositionists who claim Marcos was a failure, are you serious, are you kidding, are you mentally ill in the head....learn research read a book, understand comprehend simple facts and statistics, in Marcos's 21 years in office from 1965 to his illegal ousting in Edsa86, Marcos kept Pinas ranked no.3 in asia, and from his administration the dollar to piso rate never is about 20:1, by 1990's it was already a high of 50:1
@toogoodfella - Failure is by the individuals who opposed him, Marcos kept Pinas in the running, The United States doesnt harbor or back dictators during their downfalls, So think clearly, the country of the U.S. keep Marcos in Hawaii with intentions to re install him to power, if not Philippines will continue its decline as we see it today as Vietnam is slowly surpassing us economically....Even the Americans knew who should rule, run and govern us! Simple & Clear without a Doubt !
@toogoodfella - I wouldnt exactly say system, I would replace the word system for LIFE! As we all know if Aquino had become president of Philippines many LIVES/LIFE would be changed and for this a life for many lives would be gotten rid off, Aquino was not worth more than any other Filipinos life, his father was arrested by the American and Philippine forces during WW2 and then himself as a communist sympathizer and conspiring wiht the NPA to over throw the Sworn in govt of the Philippines
@amoreden1, Sir I agree with your statement, Aquinio was not killed by Marcos but by people many of who would have been ousted out of power as well even a mayor or policeman or military man would get rid of this guy (B.Aquino) who was himself found to be a traitor & communist sympathizer and conspirator against the Philippine Govt. Yet I also forgot that his father too was arrested by the American & Philippine Forces during World War 2 for being a Spy for the Japon! He was useless greedy senator
@amoreden1 I will not make a comment about Aquino..It is not related to my argument between Democracy and Authoritarian system. In fact It don't make any sense to me at all to argue between the two dead people.
@toogoodfella, as I said before, yes they are both dead, but it is the history, the data, the information, the learning from these two that of which we filipinos will determine how we are as a people to move forward, if you dont understand Marocos stance and Aquinos stance you cannot see what will happen to Philippines for the future nor will you understand what it is like today.....
@amoreden1 OMG you are so right Sir, if not for Marcos and his over 21 years of service to our country we would be in alot worse shape than we are in now! Could you imagine so of these commentors here they are so ignorant, Sometimes I cant even think that its coming from a human being, they think that there was someone better than Marcos since 1965, jee whiz, its so crazy they mite even believe that there is 1000 lawsuites filed by Cory times against Imelda Marcos when over 900 have been tossed
@bayyaag - It show's you the overwhelming lies and deception written and dispersed to the general public before Against the Marcos estate/Familia- And yes there are still some people out there who are Anti-Marcos most are the relatives of criminals, rapists, murderers, communists, non conformists, oppositionists, NPA and radicals terrorists who family members were punished under the Marcos time, I myself wish he deleted or got rid of more of these peoples of our shores but some live abroad now !
one more thing about corruption, maybe because i didnt made a comment about corruption but,i think he is a stock holder,i dont know but what if he is one of the biggest stock holder in some companys,oh wait, maybe a lot of companys, he is smart and if i am in his place,(i know its impossible but just saying)i would buy stocks, until it grows,(dont know if thats the right word, correct me if im wrong) and Marcos had advisors,or advisor, not sure but all leaders should have one.
@victur12 your absolutely correct I also think that way, its for the good of the republic, it makse sure that we always have money but the person who thinks is should also be the leader not the ones who cant think of it or do not have the ability to do or think or come up with the intelligent idea. If we just forfiet the money to the next rookie president or micky mouse like Cory Aquino they would waste all the money or steal it, at least if Marcos is in power we will use it for good the Country
@amoreden1 i think Marcos would make hella projects so that Philippines will make a lot of money at the same time jobs for the people then at the same time he will make money too,Marcos attract a lot of foreigners, and we know na ang mga turista may pera, siguro nga nagbulsa siya, pero ang binulsa naman nya eh pinaghirapan niya,at kung pangungurakot lang ang ginawa niya wala sanang mga projects, yung mga alahas ni Ginang Imelda na nilagay sa subastahan mali yun eh,dahil sa kanya yun eh,sinasabi
@victur12 He may do more after twenty years in power..And so the present government is doing infrastructures today. What is the special about Marcos? What else did he do?
@toogoodfella yea i think he'd do more, but didn't he said that he wont do another term?ummm thats all i kno about Marcos,i wasnt born yet when he was the president, all the idea and or knowledge was from my grandfather, kaya nagbago rin ang tingin ko kay Marcos, akala ko masama siya at walang pake sa bansa.
@victur12, Marcos was going to be president, and Lopez wanted to be more than a richman, he then jumped at the chance to be vice president....When Marcos and Lopez won they both needed each other one needed money the other needed the political knowledge both powerful in their own right, infact according to my estimates Marcos had enough money but needed the medias help...Lopez older brother Eugenio got into disagreement with President Marcos and this started the distrust in the Marcos's in them!
@NINOYAQIUNOTV, Hi hello thanks for your comment, for those questions, you can ask someone here who has already answered those questions many Loyalists especially Thehun914 or bayyagg or dlacaden ask them they can answer your questions more thoroughly !
@NINOYAQIUNOTV, I can tell you that simply Marcos did not have to lift a finger, Aquino would have died, to many people did not want him ruining or changing Philippines for the worst infact there is alot of money riding on Marcos to continue to be president, people not even from our country did not want to see Marcos replaced. If you listen to alot of people commnets you can read think and come to the conclusion for yourself.
@amoreden1 What killed Aquino is the system. Whoever he is who ordered to pull the trigger, He was the result of the System that Marcos made. Even those reason for his own failure was his own creation..It iwas the Authoritarian system.
@amoreden1, For me Aquino killed himself, infact if Marcos didnt allow him free passage to United States before and also freeing him from political prison before Benigno Aquino would have died of a heart diseasse or heart attack. "Even God wanted him dead at an early age, for God knew that he would have destroyed the Philippines or economically made it even worse at an earlier time" It is historically great that Marcos's reign even reach "1986" if not for the few misguided Prostestors before !
@toogoodfella not complaining just wish people would understand that we have a lot to learn from the 1st world countries that also use to have Monarchy such as England, Spain, France &Germany not to mention where alot of our OFW's go to work at current Middle Eastern countries that are ahead of us economically, the U.S. doesnt have a monarchy system but came about from one the U.K., so in essence when Marcos was in power we needed that coaching if you will on how to rise our country like s.korea
@victur12 Marcos was broke and needed funds on his first presidential candidacy, so he took Lopes as his Vice president. Lopez as you know, The Meralco and ABS/CBN owner have so much money to spend. Then Marcos kicked him out when he became a president.
@victur12 Love your direct practical comments, many many of these people here think they are smarter by not taking a stance on Marcos or Aquino they will claim to be neutral or not part of that generation and say they are both
@toogoodfella I dont agree Marcos plans didnt fail in a different country such as japan and s.korea the outcome would be very different, it is up to the people yes to make their own decisions, but also we should all take in account that the media
presents them a 1 sided type of information, if the people believe what they are told by the media you dramatically casue kaos, for example Egypt lately the crowd was able to swell and grow becos of the media &soon they were able to oust their leader but the same thing is also being done in Lybia but the Opposition was taughted and the country stayed Loyal
@toogoodfella Inflation I dont have the numbers to argue that at this moment, but I dont believe that it is that wide of a margin, I mean that doesnt seem correct, for me you can still buy more food and goods for PHP rate from 1965 to eds86, versus today and dont forget in the 90's it went over 50 plus to 1 Dollar before that is less than 24 yrs infact it is inside 20yrs if we were discussing this in the 90's when the rate was even higher there is no comparrison, def Marcos time is stronger!
@amoreden1 Ok now..You are just showing your own capacity..The number was so clear..Like I said, This is a free media and people will decide...Anyway, many Filipinos today are still using the price of isang taling kangkong or presyo nang pamasahe, presyo nang bigas as their own economic indicator. So I guess marami pa rin ang maniniwala sayo.
@toogoodfella - if you are speaking about inflation that is the highest after edsa86, dont try to fooooool the people here on youtube. Look who they again voted in, your horse Abnurmal Abnoy, a congressman who sat for many years and not once wrote or authored one god dam bill, and then we look at Marcos's rise to the top even versus Baboy Benignos and their is no match Marcos is a higher caliber of a person, leader and wiseman! Again it is the stupid idiots who were non conformists & communists
@toogoodfella Unity is a deciding factor, lets say we are a team PHILIPPINES and everyone in our society is not on the same page, on the same level, has reservations
on their loyalty, their faith, or have reservations on if they can trust their fellow Filipino. We certainly need the japon mentality 1 for all and all for 1. Maybe that is what Marcos was headed with his new society decleration, who
knows it wasnt fully realized, as for considering other options I think pinas needs another other sugar coated plan i thnk we need to get right to work and weed out all the non conformists get down to worker bees or ants and start moving fwd full speed we have a lot of ground to cover and by god we will need a strong leader not a NONOY bhajingster!
@amoreden1 I will not comment on your NONOY opinion.... It is the Authoritarian way that I am arguing about... In my opinion, It is not just the unity but also love of our country that we should have and I believe that it can be achieved without the iron fist. I believe that Educational system alone can do it in one generation. We all love Jose Rizal because that's what we learned in elementary school...cont
cont...but we were not being thought to love our country before him. Higher than six grade should be provided by the government and and should increase gradually. It must be mandatory that the parents should be liable if they don't send their kids in school. I believe it can be done in a democratic way.
@toogoodfella- Do I make marcos sound like a living god, No i never say he has supernatural powers nor do i say he created miracles, I do however say he did a miracle job keeping Pinas ranked no.3 frm 1965 to edsa86
continued- becoz that is feat that cannot be over looked,it is truely hard work and good negotiation tactics rather than a miracle but a job that no1 can replicate even today or any after him that sat in the same seat, If you look at Philippines today it would be better under authoritarian rule or kingdom rule like saudi or kuwait or any middle eastern country that OFW go get work in !
@toogoodfella when Marcos make decisions it is not from guidance or advise from just Filipinos, it is guidance and coaching from the u.s. why listen to law makers that dont contribute funding, Marcos knows where the money comes from it comes from u.s.a. your country, and he listens and makes his decisions based on peoples who know how to make countries prosper like the u.s.a. today all the lawmakers and presidents take advise frm each other now what happen Pinas is below Vietnam FAILed concept
@amoreden1 OMG! Are you saying Marcos follows what the American Government tells him? And it's because money was coming from the USA?..Then How are we as a nation will learn to stand on our own feet? And You love Marcos being a puppet dictator of USA?.....You should be glad that I will not believe on what you said because I believe Marcos was smarter than what you think..NO SIR! MARCOS WAS NOT A PUPPET OF THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT!.. I just believe that he failed after twenty years.
@toogoodfella Exactlly you learn from people who have been thru democracy alot longer, or people who know how to exucute Freedom with Direction, Notice that the U.S. has never had a mass rally to oust their sworn in govt. and never will you see that..........Marcos is not a puppet of U.S. more like an educated doctor taking upgrade training from u.s. counter parts who know more about medical technology as they are more technologically advance..MARCOS DIDNT FAIL IT WAS THE PEOPLE WHO FAILED HIM !
@amoreden1 Are you saying Marcos did not understand Democracy meant and he need to learn from the US government? And it is the reason why he need guidance from USA? Please clarify.
@toogoodfella any one is free to rally, protest and demonstrate, but democracy doesnt allow the people to inerrupt or disrupt or topple or destroy the Sworn in govt. that is in power, you will not see that in 1st world nations such as u.s., france, spain, britian etc. etc.etc. Knowing that our democray is young and doesnt have the economoy or infrastructure to support or uphold its constitution or elected officials was a test of 1st world nations We did not pass in edsa 1986, we failed Marcos !
@toogoodfella - When Aquino died it was okay thats not what got people riled up,it was the media who hyped it up,put a twist in it claiming Marcos planned it,thats when people decided to go on the streets, but also this would not have been possible if not from the help of Ramos and Enrile,&the defecting military divisions, this showed the u.s. that Philippines was not a modern society and believes more on religous figures and govt officials who defect, in America or even China they wont do that
@toogoodfella - He won by land slide that is correct, you dont just count metro manil a ballots, not everyone went 2march in edsa86 many more stayed home and didnt part take in that non sense, when all the ballots came in the opposition didnt believe it that is why 7 people walk out they thought that extra votes where cheating infact that is what they wanted people 2believe is that Marcos lost & those votes where fake but in reality many more people support Marcos even today if he alive 2day
@amoreden1 No!..He controlled all the vote counting by the use of the military..That's what most people know! It doesn't matter now if you believe it or not..but that is what is in the mind of many people now and you cannot just change it...Just like me cannot change your mind either. So what are you trying to accomplished by this?
@toogoodfella we hope that people understand that when govts. do something it is for the good of the people if they have great intentions for the whole of the country, such as 1 man is not good he will be sacrificed to make the better move or position execute rather than destroy more and in this case it is alot of people....
@toogoodfella what makes him a great leader, well lets look at it, did he serve the country in uniform Yes, did he support the soil against foreign invaders in world war 2, Yes, wait isnt that that also called the great War in the U.S. the country that you live in, those people are considered heros, because freedom isnt
free correct that is what is so great about u.s.a. right did you learn that their, if not for the sacrifices of the brave then their wont be a u.s.a. same here in Pinas, thats only military service lets not go on to politics Marcos has so many more experience than any that has served after him, you but only have to look at his wikipedia
minus all the bias and false claims as if you read them they dont denounce fact but intend or misguide people by offering opinions of tabliods against him during the 80's wich are again media accusations over the years written mostly by college journalism friends and buddies of sen. baboy benigno aquino
@toogoodfella HOW DO WE KNOW not how DO I KNOW! okay first in 1965 when Marcos took over in five yrs after 1965 is it better than pinas from 1955 to 1960, the answer is Yes, next in 1970 to 1975 is Pinas better from 1960 to 1965 the answer is Yes, from 1970 to 1975 was pinas better than 1965 to 1970 the answer is but Yes again and by 1975 to 1980 yet again Marcos is continuing the blueprint of modernization that the u.s. has
Wrong, until Edsa86 it was only less than 19, a flucuation of about 13 to 17 to $1, if Marcos started in 1965 at 4 to 1, and only served 21 yrs, today from 1986 to even the 1990's of 54 to $1 and now Nonoy's 44 to $1, how many years after Marcos was the 90's less than 10 so it is alomost double & now it is 2011, over 26 years, still it has climed even higher even at 44 to $1, dont try 2 fool the public here everyone can do simple math,do it yourself use a calculator, Marcos time is never 22 to 1
@amoreden1 I will not argue with your numbers but let's analyze it..You said less than 19 so take 18 after 4 from 1965 to 1986. Then, inflation was 450% (in 21yrs)....From 18 to 44 today is 244% (in 24 yrs).
How will it help you to your future Goal if your ideology is Marcos who was hated by more than half of the Filipino People? How would do you think it will help your beloved country? Why not find something better? I'm sure that he maybe smart but he is no God to you..Right?
@toogoodfella it will take another generation of Filipino college graduates in mass com, journalism, political science to rewrite history, then &only then will filipinos look back and make the correct choices, it will take a re learning of even people abroad to realize that Marcos was not a bad guy but a Visionairy and Defender of the Republic a Hero's Hero, Those graduates today seeking a job &want to make history right again will address this issue and maybe then the other half will now turth!
@amoreden1 Let me say it again..He Failed.....His failure includes everything from all of his plan. Whether you like it or not..or even if all are true or all are false, including, publicity, in media, public opinion, image. It is in the peoples mind now whether if it's true or false. It is now part of his failure.....If you will try to change the peoples mind about Marcos, ..cont.
cont... I can see that you are seeking for your own failure too. It will be too bad then if you are seeking for a true goal which is for the better of the country. In more simple way to say it..You will have to accomplish one thing to accomplish something.
@toogoodfella george washington is dead, martin luther king is dead and so is jesus but we all still learn from them all. the problem is will you support their thinking and their beliefs. if you keep starting over with new people who dont know the past you will re live the future with failed problems of the past, today it is vice versa, Marcos is right and they think it is wrong so they push on thinking what they know is true, but until the re learn what is correct we will not move fwd again !
@amoreden1 Yes absolutely, they are dead and Martyred..Same thing as Aquino whether you like it or not..He was martyred in the Tarmac..Marcos died of a disease..Look at the history of Martyred people. They don't die from disease.
Marcos became a great leader, allowing free speech & freedom of any political opposition to rise as long as they were not Communists. During the following years, Marcos
@toogoodfella it is true he closed those companies if they could not prove the worth of their writing due SLANDER and false reporting, today that is why most news agencies or any respecatable news agencies do not write or have a free for all when writing about The Marcos's or Imelda Marcos they have to choose their words carefully, they can be sued by the Marcos estate for SLANDER which is punishable by court and also is the same way their in your country of the U.S.A.
and his wife amassed huge amounts of money, through his gold trading system. Not like the media accusing them of Philippine economy using controlled industry such as monopolies or banking. When the propaganda rises and NPA
@amoreden1 I have to disagree with you saying propaganda. If there was a propaganda, Then it was Marcos only who can do it because he was the one in power ang able to shut closed the other media.
@toogoodfella Marcos allowed freedom of speech and media the U.S. ordered or advised him not to close them down, and he took their advise on that, again the media was able to speak and broadcast bad reporting on Marcos while he was in power! in My opinion he should have put them out in public and shot them all so that it would be on national t.v. and people would be scared to do the same thing instll fear and respect the govt. not to let the bad apples make the govt look bad and cause kaos !
presense in Manila grows as bad media creats disinfranchised people, Marcos orders for military forces to be increased, tripling it in size between 1971 and 1983. the Opposition increased as they blame bad living standards collapsed and civil unrest among the people grew. In 1981, Marcos ends Marshal law
@amoreden1 Yup..You are exactly right..Bad living standards because of poverty. I'm glad you know it. The military increase withhout neccessity means more power to support him that wen't out of control and failed him..Then he lifted Martial law and the people and the military themselves had the freedom to oust him. What a nice democratic government that you can change a bad president!
@toogoodfella Bad living standards but that is evident since we are considered a third world country, military must be increased because it is easy to topple a govt. or leader, the military and police are sworn to uphold the oaths they take, but if your media is stronger then it is easy for your country to be destroyed who then will be strong 2 lead your country that is why we Loyalist believe in Practical govt. as in the u.s. govt. a nation that covers all its illegal activity overseas with CIA
and conducts again free elections in which he won by a landslide, but this only results in increased dissension by the Communists Opposition. Attempting to gain favor again in 1986, Marcos holds another snap election, but this time the popagand and bias media sparks rebellion of edsa86, The U.S. ask Marcos to board a u.s. chopper to
@amoreden1 Too many lies!..He won in Landslide because the vote against him was not counted. Due to the pressure of the international media, He called he next snap Election in 1986, There was a independent count by one organisation and he failed to close them because it was being watched by the international media. The media was equal in both sides at that time and the people learned the truth. The opposition was of course biased and so the Pro Marcos. It was indeed equal power of the media.
Communism had have been increasing since he started the Martial law and that was the reason the American government was loosing support to him. Bad media was the same in both sides and indeed just the same as today that no fruitful argument with the issues other than demonizing each other. There was no propaganda other than dishonest media on both sides..It was indeed the death of Aquino that made Marcos to fall..Sympathysers increased since Aquinos death.

Hawaii, bringing with them what them what they could a small fortune some of thier own wealth that they had amased prior to gaining power in Philippines, These the
media say are stolen but are Gold & Jewelry that the Marcos had even before gaining power in 1965. The Philippine government tries to recover millions from Marcos’ Swiss bank accounts, but only after years of failed investigation
@amoreden1 Wow! failed investigation!..Then you supposed to be happy and not whining right now! He was cleared on those allegations! Be happy my friend! What are you complaining then? Aren't you happy with a fair justice system of Democracy??????
@toogoodfella democracy is good when you have enough money to win ! usually the one who spend the most during a campaign wins! should be also correct for you guys there in america ! usually
are only able too pathetically freeze the accounts as they are not found to be Philippine assets but are truely Marcos property, Marcos remained in exile in Hawaii, with intentions or planned attempts to regain control of the Philippines through invasion and over throwing the illegal govt of Corazon
"Illegal Government"... The Peoples power!...That's what they called it..Wasn't Marcos was in the illegal rule of the country? He declared Martial law before the Presidential Election don't you know that? No argument needed here. The readers knew.
@toogoodfella - Actually that is yet but another disgusting thing about people who are educated by way of media as yourself, if you direct your self to not even Filipino but even American law, you will find it in your history books that Martial Law is a politcal tool, move and legal action that can be taken by govts. and usually declared by the President or leader without any congressional approval, did you learn something today And Please by God stop fooling the Public with yet another Propganda
Aquino. In 1987 Marcos indicted by American federal jury but died in Honolulu the following year before his trial was held, his wife went instead and was cleared on all charges in New York.
@toogoodfella Govts fail all over the world from communism to democracy to dictatorship and vice versa. Is there really a BEST System, who knows maybe in heaven only, HOPEFULLY !!
@amoreden1, Hello if Marcos is still alive today I would support him before I was fooled by the Media thinking that Marcos was bad for Philippines or was making it bad, but if I look back over the last 20 plus years I will say that if Marcos was still in power, Philippines would probably be alot better if not still economically ranked no.3 in asia today. It is sad to see us now ranked below Vietnam and I know we Filipinos are better than the Vietnamese, we should have listen to Marcos before !
Greatly Ferdinand Marcos’ life was an exotic tale of adventure, his actions warranted outstanding results. The country he guided was left in economic shambles after the Opposition ousted him, full of people who were denied their freedoms and adequate living standards. His life is a tale of Glory and betrayal by the uneducated and the power hungry who ened up destroying a great nation that he and the U.S. govt. have been modrenizing since 1965.
Twenty years of power under Authoritarian rule, The military officials and the people closed to Marcos became richer..No congress, No senate, No Vice president..Only Marcos is making all the decission in the country, Not to mention on how to maintain his power..A person who think others opinion is always wrong and only his own was the right decission..That caused him failure. cont...
cont...The Filipinos became poorer after 20 years of his regime. Squatters in Manila was everywhere and increasing. Inflation was more than five hundred percent. He was ticked to Hawaii by the US government to avoid the loss of human lives because besides his failing health, He was still willing to fight to maintain his power.
@amoreden1, you seem to know alot of Philippine history and classified information, during the Marcos years. Do you have a .45 caliber presented to you ?
@syzygy588, if Pinas is split into 2 sides after Edsa86, 1 governed by Baboy Aquino & the Other by Ferdinand Marcos, the Marcos side would be a flourishing country such as South Korea, would also have U.S. military on its shores for defense
and support, it would have more U.S. dollars injected to its economy daily, and many Filipino nationals will still be able to join the U.S. Navy still today and make a good life, Imelda would work on the beautification of the streets and
entertainment and not to mention the fashion district, all European visitors would rather visit a Pinas like that versus a Philippines that is like today and is failing and is destroying it self with Mass Riots or should I say PPL POWER uselss marches, Ya today a Marcos run Philippines would be also limiting its imigartion and
cont- borders from all those who sided with the Aquino and Communists and Oppositionists because in 1 or 2 yrs they could see what side is better and want to flock or look for jobs in a Philippines run by practicality and not by freedom with out direction. Freedom with direction that has a steady course thats a Marcos Way and that is why we are LOYALISTS till the day we die !
@syzygy588, Marcos is truely the best and I agree to your statement, If you live in the u.s. or abroad you views are also clouded by the media in U.S.A., Filipinos in Middle East also get different news there concerning U.S.A. involvement in the arab countries the views are different,Media is also a bad example and bad reporter of news, especailly if they are bias against those who are truely honest, In Marcos time the media in the 80's have bad press & attack Marcos becoz it sells & makes Money
@amoreden1 A free media is the best because you will hear both sides of the story..There are honest and there are biased media on both sides and people can decide what is wright and what is wrong..The best example of the free media is in USA..You will always hear both sides of the story and it will be your own mind that will always decide on what is wright and what is wrong.
@toogoodfella - Not so the u.s. also sensors its media and its media has a responsibility when it comes to sensative material when it concerns national interests when people dont follow this people end up accidentally killed. But yes for the most part America has 1 of the best examples of free media, and this is correct people get to decide which way to believe but also media can twist the facts or issue out facts that are not correct for example why General Powell step down from his position!
@toogoodfella the most dangerous minds are those who have no idea of how govts. work and how young govts are and those Pinoys who think that you can have an Americano style freedom democracy in a country such as Philippines, 1 we dont have the ground work for this 2 we dont have the unity it show even in non military events such
@amoreden1 Well I will agree with your saying that we don't have the unity and I will not argue with it..The thing that I will argue with you is your hopelesnes to find a good solution. You will be willing to accept the Authoritarian rule and it seems that your mind will not consider any other option. Indeed, it was a limited thinking of yours that bothers me so much.
@toogoodfella Sorry I never ever speculate or call Marcos a God, you did by or you can call him that, that is again totally up to you, But we always say and listen and read the words, Marcos is the best since 1965, dont take things out of context and dont put words or writings in other peoples comments here it will tear you up, Oil refinery is what I said could be realized today if Pinas is advanced off course we would have our own
@amoreden1 But it seems like he was a living god to you that you still symphatize and adore him besides his failure. You still look at him a great leader..My question to you is what makes him great to your vision? I believe I already asked it earlier in this discusssion and the only answer you can say was those infrastructures that he tried and failed anyway. I repeat! What makes him Great president to you? What have he done to become great?
( one example is below)
Hello my fellow LOYALISTS, if you would like to learn and inform yourself of What a great Philippines should be today or a video that shows a Philippines that was to be ready to rival China, Japan & even the S.Koreans refer to a Youtube video here known as: - "A Revolution from the Center" part 1 copy this and paste it on the top to view, it is but another great video it has also more than 2 parts so also watch this for your education on what Philippines should already be and gone too by now!
@dlacaden I am sure you are referring to the declaration of Martial Law on "A revolution from from the center" I'm telling you directly that if you people who are self declared "Loyalist" to learn more about it..Learn the danger of the system..Marcos may had it in less violent way but it doesn't mean that it could happen in the same way..Scenario could be different in every case and it may go out of control..And the "no control scenario" that you have to think thoroughly.
@toogoodfella Marcos till today is still the best leader we have had since 1965 hands down, not only would that be a fact but if you took every leader since Marcos and had them control & govern their own country, in a head to head competition the Marcos run country would be far ahead it would have continues American backing and Military just as Japan and S.Korea do and it would be the most beautiful and arts and entertainment via Imelda and the most Paris Like in asia today with low unemployment
@amoreden1 You are dreaming..Just dreaming!...Please don't speculate..There is no guarrantee on what could happen in the future. Marcos failed politically and economically after 20 years of power. That is the truth..He was austed by the people on the street, He was failed by his own Military, He was tricked by the US government and woke up unknowingly that he was in Hawaii..That indeed is a failure and no one can deny it.
@toogoodfella - the failure is that after Marcos was illegally ousted is that the Americans had full intentions to return him back to power, when they were not able too, they did not fully support an Aquino communist family that is why Philippines continues to sink economically in asia, check out S.Korea they play ball with America and gain the fruits from it, Plus they have more control of their peopel unlike we did in EDSA86 and they have better riot control police and equipment like CHina!
@toogoodfella Americans use everyone, but if you have a President Like Marcos over seeing what the hell is going on then you have a benefit, if you have the leaders that came after him you have no benefit and no progress, if you dont understand like I do, you can study CUBA, a very good country but is kept in the dark becoz of heavy trade sanctions and embargo laws, it is an Open & well known, for other countries it is not so well noticed, Marcos fought for Philippine exports to go to U.S. shore
@amoreden1 Cuba's major economy was only sugar and tobacco..The people's average education is still very low..That is the major reason for a failed economy of Cuba..The Embargo of USA was since the Cold war..But realized that the major supporter of Cuba, The USSR is now dont exist and Castro and his brother is still in power for so many years with no major improvement in education system..Castro want's his people to remain uneducated to stay in power.
@toogoodfella - We can blame education on Cuba, we can blame the USSR, but also it has been stated that a country like Cuba should be one of the wealthiest in Central America if they have free trade, the Embargo contains a country Perhaps you havent taken economics and I should put it to you easily, if you are Cuba but I dont allow you to make money or work you will not go anywhere, you will not even have your kids go to educate you will have them do menial jobs you will stay poor PINAS TODAY !
@amoreden1 Yes you are right..They can be also successful in economy but it was not the embargo alone that make's them poor..It was indeed the socialist type of economy to blame because until now..Cuba is still a communist country with no freedom of trade, religion and speech.
@toogoodfella Cuba run by FidelCastro since the U.S.A. contradict & did not support him to the end while he fought in the revolution, he noticed that the U.S. were two faced & back stabers, when attained power he sided with the arch enemy of the United States because of this, & that is why he has to keep the facets of communism alive in Cuba he will be strong for Cuba rather than sell out to the Opposition he dislikes, its a bad thing economically but I also admire his fortitude unwilding will
@amoreden1 Castro was a good guy I believe that, but in history books they fail to concentrate on the battle that insued, when the revolution was happening Castro waited for American support but they did come nor did they help then he knew they would also remove him from power. Cuba is a great learning experience of CIA tactics and how 1st world nations can eliminate 3rd world leaders or soon to be or even distrupt economies in foreign countries do a search on youtube on John Perkin

For the past thirty years what we read and hear about Marcos are "black propaganda" from broadcast and print media that were actually one of the sectors that were displaced by martial law. Tamaan wag magalit

it takes years and hard work and unity and understanding practical political process some of which the govt. has to keep secret even in its economic and financial dealings we cannot have the media exploit a juicy govt. interest or classified data if it deals in advancing the country like others such as the u.s.a., japan, russia, china, germany, u.k. and other 1st world nations.

Ferdinand Marcos of R.P.

@toogoodfella - apperantly you cannot teach or even easier for the hard headed to think and understand history, dont read what a journalist, or writer who has bias views to Marcos, read statistics and cover facts relating to govt. achievements compared to his time and after Edsa86, why do you think more and more people done like the Aquinos fake freedom B.S. and voted for Erap, as time goes by the truth unfolds and people can alone do their own homework to see why it is Marcos was truely better!
amoreden1 8 months ago
This is what I am talking about, you have communists, non conformists and Oppositionists who claim Marcos was a failure, are you serious, are you kidding, are you mentally ill in the head....learn research read a book, understand comprehend simple facts and statistics, in Marcos's 21 years in office from 1965 to his illegal ousting in Edsa86, Marcos kept Pinas ranked no.3 in asia, and from his administration the dollar to piso rate never is about 20:1, by 1990's it was already a high of 50:1
amoreden1 8 months ago
@toogoodfella - Failure is by the individuals who opposed him, Marcos kept Pinas in the running, The United States doesnt harbor or back dictators during their downfalls, So think clearly, the country of the U.S. keep Marcos in Hawaii with intentions to re install him to power, if not Philippines will continue its decline as we see it today as Vietnam is slowly surpassing us economically....Even the Americans knew who should rule, run and govern us! Simple & Clear without a Doubt !
amoreden1 8 months ago
@toogoodfella - I wouldnt exactly say system, I would replace the word system for LIFE! As we all know if Aquino had become president of Philippines many LIVES/LIFE would be changed and for this a life for many lives would be gotten rid off, Aquino was not worth more than any other Filipinos life, his father was arrested by the American and Philippine forces during WW2 and then himself as a communist sympathizer and conspiring wiht the NPA to over throw the Sworn in govt of the Philippines
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1, Sir I agree with your statement, Aquinio was not killed by Marcos but by people many of who would have been ousted out of power as well even a mayor or policeman or military man would get rid of this guy (B.Aquino) who was himself found to be a traitor & communist sympathizer and conspirator against the Philippine Govt. Yet I also forgot that his father too was arrested by the American & Philippine Forces during World War 2 for being a Spy for the Japon! He was useless greedy senator

@toogoodfella, as I said before, yes they are both dead, but it is the history, the data, the information, the learning from these two that of which we filipinos will determine how we are as a people to move forward, if you dont understand Marocos stance and Aquinos stance you cannot see what will happen to Philippines for the future nor will you understand what it is like today.....

victur12 9 months ago
@victur12 your absolutely correct I also think that way, its for the good of the republic, it makse sure that we always have money but the person who thinks is should also be the leader not the ones who cant think of it or do not have the ability to do or think or come up with the intelligent idea. If we just forfiet the money to the next rookie president or micky mouse like Cory Aquino they would waste all the money or steal it, at least if Marcos is in power we will use it for good the Country

@amoreden1 do you think Marcos killed or had Ninoy Assassinated?
Also do you think, Aquino would have made a good president?
and lastly do you think NONOY is making a good president at the currect time?
Thank you,
NINOYAQIUNOTV 9 months ago
@NINOYAQIUNOTV, Hi hello thanks for your comment, for those questions, you can ask someone here who has already answered those questions many Loyalists especially Thehun914 or bayyagg or dlacaden ask them they can answer your questions more thoroughly !
amoreden1 9 months ago
@NINOYAQIUNOTV, I can tell you that simply Marcos did not have to lift a finger, Aquino would have died, to many people did not want him ruining or changing Philippines for the worst infact there is alot of money riding on Marcos to continue to be president, people not even from our country did not want to see Marcos replaced. If you listen to alot of people commnets you can read think and come to the conclusion for yourself.
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 What killed Aquino is the system. Whoever he is who ordered to pull the trigger, He was the result of the System that Marcos made. Even those reason for his own failure was his own creation..It iwas the Authoritarian system.
toogoodfella 9 months ago
@amoreden1, For me Aquino killed himself, infact if Marcos didnt allow him free passage to United States before and also freeing him from political prison before Benigno Aquino would have died of a heart diseasse or heart attack. "Even God wanted him dead at an early age, for God knew that he would have destroyed the Philippines or economically made it even worse at an earlier time" It is historically great that Marcos's reign even reach "1986" if not for the few misguided Prostestors before !

@toogoodfella you dont have to change opinion, you just have to learn politics and how it is played in sequence with global politcs....

@amoreden1 Cory Aquino is also dead and of course she is no longer the president..What are you complaining now?
toogoodfella 9 months ago
@toogoodfella An so Marcos is dead...What is your real goal in arguing for him?
toogoodfella 9 months ago
@toogoodfella he is the best since 1965 and until now that is the case of arguing and teaching people as of today !
amoreden1 9 months ago
@toogoodfella not complaining just wish people would understand that we have a lot to learn from the 1st world countries that also use to have Monarchy such as England, Spain, France &Germany not to mention where alot of our OFW's go to work at current Middle Eastern countries that are ahead of us economically, the U.S. doesnt have a monarchy system but came about from one the U.K., so in essence when Marcos was in power we needed that coaching if you will on how to rise our country like s.korea
amoreden1 9 months ago
@victur12 Marcos was broke and needed funds on his first presidential candidacy, so he took Lopes as his Vice president. Lopez as you know, The Meralco and ABS/CBN owner have so much money to spend. Then Marcos kicked him out when he became a president.

yep!!that's why they deserve the "fame, pride, and the name,MARCOS!
victur12 9 months ago
@victur12 Love your direct practical comments, many many of these people here think they are smarter by not taking a stance on Marcos or Aquino they will claim to be neutral or not part of that generation and say they are both
amoreden1 9 months ago
@toogoodfella I dont agree Marcos plans didnt fail in a different country such as japan and s.korea the outcome would be very different, it is up to the people yes to make their own decisions, but also we should all take in account that the media
amoreden1 9 months ago
presents them a 1 sided type of information, if the people believe what they are told by the media you dramatically casue kaos, for example Egypt lately the crowd was able to swell and grow becos of the media &soon they were able to oust their leader but the same thing is also being done in Lybia but the Opposition was taughted and the country stayed Loyal
amoreden1 9 months ago
@toogoodfella i agree education should be provided higher than six grd. no arugement their education is always a good thing!
amoreden1 9 months ago
@toogoodfella Inflation I dont have the numbers to argue that at this moment, but I dont believe that it is that wide of a margin, I mean that doesnt seem correct, for me you can still buy more food and goods for PHP rate from 1965 to eds86, versus today and dont forget in the 90's it went over 50 plus to 1 Dollar before that is less than 24 yrs infact it is inside 20yrs if we were discussing this in the 90's when the rate was even higher there is no comparrison, def Marcos time is stronger!
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 Ok now..You are just showing your own capacity..The number was so clear..Like I said, This is a free media and people will decide...Anyway, many Filipinos today are still using the price of isang taling kangkong or presyo nang pamasahe, presyo nang bigas as their own economic indicator. So I guess marami pa rin ang maniniwala sayo.
toogoodfella 9 months ago
@toogoodfella - if you are speaking about inflation that is the highest after edsa86, dont try to fooooool the people here on youtube. Look who they again voted in, your horse Abnurmal Abnoy, a congressman who sat for many years and not once wrote or authored one god dam bill, and then we look at Marcos's rise to the top even versus Baboy Benignos and their is no match Marcos is a higher caliber of a person, leader and wiseman! Again it is the stupid idiots who were non conformists & communists
amoreden1 9 months ago
@toogoodfella Unity is a deciding factor, lets say we are a team PHILIPPINES and everyone in our society is not on the same page, on the same level, has reservations
amoreden1 9 months ago
on their loyalty, their faith, or have reservations on if they can trust their fellow Filipino. We certainly need the japon mentality 1 for all and all for 1. Maybe that is what Marcos was headed with his new society decleration, who
amoreden1 9 months ago
knows it wasnt fully realized, as for considering other options I think pinas needs another other sugar coated plan i thnk we need to get right to work and weed out all the non conformists get down to worker bees or ants and start moving fwd full speed we have a lot of ground to cover and by god we will need a strong leader not a NONOY bhajingster!
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 I will not comment on your NONOY opinion.... It is the Authoritarian way that I am arguing about... In my opinion, It is not just the unity but also love of our country that we should have and I believe that it can be achieved without the iron fist. I believe that Educational system alone can do it in one generation. We all love Jose Rizal because that's what we learned in elementary school...cont
toogoodfella 9 months ago
cont...but we were not being thought to love our country before him. Higher than six grade should be provided by the government and and should increase gradually. It must be mandatory that the parents should be liable if they don't send their kids in school. I believe it can be done in a democratic way.

@toogoodfella- Do I make marcos sound like a living god, No i never say he has supernatural powers nor do i say he created miracles, I do however say he did a miracle job keeping Pinas ranked no.3 frm 1965 to edsa86
amoreden1 9 months ago
continued- becoz that is feat that cannot be over looked,it is truely hard work and good negotiation tactics rather than a miracle but a job that no1 can replicate even today or any after him that sat in the same seat, If you look at Philippines today it would be better under authoritarian rule or kingdom rule like saudi or kuwait or any middle eastern country that OFW go get work in !
amoreden1 9 months ago
@toogoodfella when Marcos make decisions it is not from guidance or advise from just Filipinos, it is guidance and coaching from the u.s. why listen to law makers that dont contribute funding, Marcos knows where the money comes from it comes from u.s.a. your country, and he listens and makes his decisions based on peoples who know how to make countries prosper like the u.s.a. today all the lawmakers and presidents take advise frm each other now what happen Pinas is below Vietnam FAILed concept
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 OMG! Are you saying Marcos follows what the American Government tells him? And it's because money was coming from the USA?..Then How are we as a nation will learn to stand on our own feet? And You love Marcos being a puppet dictator of USA?.....You should be glad that I will not believe on what you said because I believe Marcos was smarter than what you think..NO SIR! MARCOS WAS NOT A PUPPET OF THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT!.. I just believe that he failed after twenty years.
toogoodfella 9 months ago
@toogoodfella Exactlly you learn from people who have been thru democracy alot longer, or people who know how to exucute Freedom with Direction, Notice that the U.S. has never had a mass rally to oust their sworn in govt. and never will you see that..........Marcos is not a puppet of U.S. more like an educated doctor taking upgrade training from u.s. counter parts who know more about medical technology as they are more technologically advance..MARCOS DIDNT FAIL IT WAS THE PEOPLE WHO FAILED HIM !
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 Are you saying Marcos did not understand Democracy meant and he need to learn from the US government? And it is the reason why he need guidance from USA? Please clarify.
toogoodfella 9 months ago
@toogoodfella any one is free to rally, protest and demonstrate, but democracy doesnt allow the people to inerrupt or disrupt or topple or destroy the Sworn in govt. that is in power, you will not see that in 1st world nations such as u.s., france, spain, britian etc. etc.etc. Knowing that our democray is young and doesnt have the economoy or infrastructure to support or uphold its constitution or elected officials was a test of 1st world nations We did not pass in edsa 1986, we failed Marcos !
amoreden1 9 months ago
@toogoodfella - When Aquino died it was okay thats not what got people riled up,it was the media who hyped it up,put a twist in it claiming Marcos planned it,thats when people decided to go on the streets, but also this would not have been possible if not from the help of Ramos and Enrile,&the defecting military divisions, this showed the u.s. that Philippines was not a modern society and believes more on religous figures and govt officials who defect, in America or even China they wont do that
amoreden1 9 months ago
@toogoodfella - He won by land slide that is correct, you dont just count metro manil a ballots, not everyone went 2march in edsa86 many more stayed home and didnt part take in that non sense, when all the ballots came in the opposition didnt believe it that is why 7 people walk out they thought that extra votes where cheating infact that is what they wanted people 2believe is that Marcos lost & those votes where fake but in reality many more people support Marcos even today if he alive 2day
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 No!..He controlled all the vote counting by the use of the military..That's what most people know! It doesn't matter now if you believe it or not..but that is what is in the mind of many people now and you cannot just change it...Just like me cannot change your mind either. So what are you trying to accomplished by this?
toogoodfella 9 months ago
@toogoodfella we hope that people understand that when govts. do something it is for the good of the people if they have great intentions for the whole of the country, such as 1 man is not good he will be sacrificed to make the better move or position execute rather than destroy more and in this case it is alot of people....
amoreden1 9 months ago
@toogoodfella what makes him a great leader, well lets look at it, did he serve the country in uniform Yes, did he support the soil against foreign invaders in world war 2, Yes, wait isnt that that also called the great War in the U.S. the country that you live in, those people are considered heros, because freedom isnt
amoreden1 9 months ago
free correct that is what is so great about u.s.a. right did you learn that their, if not for the sacrifices of the brave then their wont be a u.s.a. same here in Pinas, thats only military service lets not go on to politics Marcos has so many more experience than any that has served after him, you but only have to look at his wikipedia

@toogoodfella HOW DO WE KNOW not how DO I KNOW! okay first in 1965 when Marcos took over in five yrs after 1965 is it better than pinas from 1955 to 1960, the answer is Yes, next in 1970 to 1975 is Pinas better from 1960 to 1965 the answer is Yes, from 1970 to 1975 was pinas better than 1965 to 1970 the answer is but Yes again and by 1975 to 1980 yet again Marcos is continuing the blueprint of modernization that the u.s. has
amoreden1 9 months ago
Wrong, until Edsa86 it was only less than 19, a flucuation of about 13 to 17 to $1, if Marcos started in 1965 at 4 to 1, and only served 21 yrs, today from 1986 to even the 1990's of 54 to $1 and now Nonoy's 44 to $1, how many years after Marcos was the 90's less than 10 so it is alomost double & now it is 2011, over 26 years, still it has climed even higher even at 44 to $1, dont try 2 fool the public here everyone can do simple math,do it yourself use a calculator, Marcos time is never 22 to 1
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 I will not argue with your numbers but let's analyze it..You said less than 19 so take 18 after 4 from 1965 to 1986. Then, inflation was 450% (in 21yrs)....From 18 to 44 today is 244% (in 24 yrs).

toogoodfella 9 months ago
@toogoodfella it will take another generation of Filipino college graduates in mass com, journalism, political science to rewrite history, then &only then will filipinos look back and make the correct choices, it will take a re learning of even people abroad to realize that Marcos was not a bad guy but a Visionairy and Defender of the Republic a Hero's Hero, Those graduates today seeking a job &want to make history right again will address this issue and maybe then the other half will now turth!

@amoreden1 Let me say it again..He Failed.....His failure includes everything from all of his plan. It is now part of his failure.....If you will try to change the peoples mind about Marcos, ..cont.
toogoodfella 9 months ago
cont... I can see that you are seeking for your own failure too. It will be too bad then if you are seeking for a true goal which is for the better of the country. In more simple way to say it..You will have to accomplish one thing to accomplish something.

@toogoodfella george washington is dead, martin luther king is dead and so is jesus but we all still learn from them all. the problem is will you support their thinking and their beliefs. if you keep starting over with new people who dont know the past you will re live the future with failed problems of the past, today it is vice versa, Marcos is right and they think it is wrong so they push on thinking what they know is true, but until the re learn what is correct we will not move fwd again !

presense in Manila grows as bad media creats disinfranchised people, Marcos orders for military forces to be increased, tripling it in size between 1971 and 1983. the Opposition increased as they blame bad living standards collapsed and civil unrest among the people grew. In 1981, Marcos ends Marshal law
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 Yup..You are exactly right..Bad living standards because of poverty. I'm glad you know it. The military increase withhout neccessity means more power to support him that wen't out of control and failed him..Then he lifted Martial law and the people and the military themselves had the freedom to oust him. What a nice democratic government that you can change a bad president!
toogoodfella 9 months ago
@toogoodfella Bad living standards but that is evident since we are considered a third world country, military must be increased because it is easy to topple a govt. or leader, the military and police are sworn to uphold the oaths they take, but if your media is stronger then it is easy for your country to be destroyed who then will be strong 2 lead your country that is why we Loyalist believe in Practical govt. as in the u.s. govt. a nation that covers all its illegal activity overseas with CIA

Greatly Ferdinand Marcos’ life was an exotic tale of adventure, his actions warranted outstanding results. The country he guided was left in economic shambles after the Opposition ousted him, full of people who were denied their freedoms and adequate living standards. His life is a tale of Glory and betrayal by the uneducated and the power hungry who ened up destroying a great nation that he and the U.S. govt. have been modrenizing since 1965.

amoreden1 9 months ago
@syzygy588, Marcos is truely the best and I agree to your statement, If you live in the u.s. or abroad you views are also clouded by the media in U.S.A., Filipinos in Middle East also get different news there concerning U.S.A. involvement in the arab countries the views are different,Media is also a bad example and bad reporter of news, especailly if they are bias against those who are truely honest, In Marcos time the media in the 80's have bad press & attack Marcos becoz it sells & makes Money
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 A free media is the best because you will hear both sides of the story..There are honest and there are biased media on both sides and people can decide what is wright and what is wrong..The best example of the free media is in USA..You will always hear both sides of the story and it will be your own mind that will always decide on what is wright and what is wrong.
toogoodfella 9 months ago
@toogoodfella - Not so the u.s. also sensors its media and its media has a responsibility when it comes to sensative material when it concerns national interests when people dont follow this people end up accidentally killed. But yes for the most part America has 1 of the best examples of free media, and this is correct people get to decide which way to believe but also media can twist the facts or issue out facts that are not correct for example why General Powell step down from his position!
amoreden1 9 months ago
@toogoodfella the most dangerous minds are those who have no idea of how govts. work and how young govts are and those Pinoys who think that you can have an Americano style freedom democracy in a country such as Philippines, 1 we dont have the ground work for this 2 we dont have the unity it show even in non military events such
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 Well I will agree with your saying that we don't have the unity and I will not argue with it..The thing that I will argue with you is your hopelesnes to find a good solution. You will be willing to accept the Authoritarian rule and it seems that your mind will not consider any other option. Indeed, it was a limited thinking of yours that bothers me so much.
toogoodfella 9 months ago
@toogoodfella Sorry I never ever speculate or call Marcos a God, you did by or you can call him that, that is again totally up to you, But we always say and listen and read the words, Marcos is the best since 1965, dont take things out of context and dont put words or writings in other peoples comments here it will tear you up, Oil refinery is what I said could be realized today if Pinas is advanced off course we would have our own
amoreden1 9 months ago
@amoreden1 But it seems like he was a living god to you that you still symphatize and adore him besides his failure. You still look at him a great leader..My question to you is what makes him great to your vision? I believe I already asked it earlier in this discusssion and the only answer you can say was those infrastructures that he tried and failed anyway. I repeat! What makes him Great president to you? What have he done to become great?
