  • Perfect! Dang near anyways, very nice how to video, I eat this sort of thing right up, now to get off my duff and get building!

I did get a flood damaged 2 year old gas water heater I gutted. I want to install a coil of copper into it, thinking of going through the old 3/4" temp senor hole, and out either through the drain with a T. I have about 50' of 3/8" tubing I plan on using. This in lieu of drain back system

Any Ideas on creating a coil inside a tank?

please hit reply or message me thnks

  • Great video! Very well done. I plan to do more videos myself, and your presentation has inspired me to do better.

  • Thank you Old Guy Phil

Actually you are still a young guy. I'm 65 and I stil hav a ways to go. You can make a serpentine collector with printer plates. check out "Our Big Sun"

  • Love your stuff. I scored large clear glass insulated units. Split the desicant channels to separate into 1/4 single pane glazing. I have printing plates for the absorber, and was just going to heat and move air, now I'm not sure if I'm going to do air or antifreeze solution. KEEP PLAYING!
