Just saw them last week on the Royal Caribbean ship, the Allure of the Seas. Had a nice chat with them at the end of the show and bought their CD. Got a photo with them both too!

He was my dad's drummer, he died in the plane. I was engaged to Ricky's brother Jimmy, who had a swing band, and he would sing "when i take my sugar to tea, all the guys are jealous of me." Maybe that bit of obscure info will convince you I'm me. Meanwhile I'm going to keep posting.
I will say in all the over 20 yrs they've played this has to be not only their best song but, one of the best songs i've ever heard from any artist.. i'm hoping they make a comeback that's long overdue..They never got the credit they deserved.. if anyone has ever gotten the chance to meet them they are the few rare souls that never let who they are go to their heads.. they are the sweetest souls and this was 20yrs ago when I was a late teen who met they on several occasions
A very beautiful heart touching song! Makes one realise to learn to appreciate their loved ones dearly. Never ever take them for granted and should enjoy every minute you have with them.
My wife and I saw them perform this song in 2001 and let me tell you how super nice these guys are! After the show we took pictures with them and they shared their Altoids with us too!
They also got a good laugh off of my friends bootleg Nelson shirt from their '90 tour and Gunnar had said, "Well there's one shirt we didn't make any money off of", and let out a good hard laugh.
Been following them since the summer of '90, keep rockin guys!
If you're the real Tracy, continue loving them with all you've got. I've never heard such talented understanding of wistfulness, pain, and hope. Too many posts about loss here, but I lost the love of my life and then, shortly thereafter, the light of my life, my 17 year old, in a car accident. I have crumbled. The words that mean most to me here are: every day I try to make you proud. A message to stand up and not waste the days.

G and M said this song just came in a rush, as the best songs do. i hope hope hope they are able to release it (it is tied up with a record deal that went south) so more people can hear the message. Our dad dies so long ago, (he would 've been 70 today!) but because he was always on the road, we still feel like he could walk in the door at anytime with his usual "hey..um...sorry i'm late."
The point is to tell those you care about what is in your heart NOW.
This is the perfect song....we lost a great friend and never got to say good-bye, just a week ago. We find ourselves still waiting for him to come through that door with his smiling face. But now we know that everything we do from now on will show him that we can go on and live in the memories. I would love to see him walk through the door once more!

Listening to this song brought back memories of all the family members I have lost over the past few years, esp. my father. The lyrics, in particular, reminded me that I never had the chance to say good-bye, and I would give anything to see him walk through the door again.
Dude! i saw them on the Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas on June 28th. THey were so awesome! I recorded part of them performing Love and affection, if you want to see it, its on my page. ^_^ did you get thier autographs as well?

I saw them on a diffrent cruise. My room overlooked where they were singing so I saw them for free. It was a great.
