There's two options to how this happened:
Either, they DID indeed practice and just turned on and off their lights.
-OR-
There's a program built into the lighting of the building (like they do in Tokyo) that just plays out the game in this sequence.
Either way, it's flippin sweet

Last year MIT did the same thing with Tetris. All you have to do is set a computer program to control the electrical circuits to the lights.

It's a computer program, people. They didn't have to "practice" because it's not like they're sitting there turning on the lights and shit.
