  • It`s real. It was a few years back at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands where I studied. They linked a computer program to the lighting of the building and played the game live. It was some kind of anniversary celebration. Don`t remember exactly...

  • that is amazing

  • be it a LED dot matrix or the dormitory rooms' lights, the same thing.

  • There's two options to how this happened:

Either, they DID indeed practice and just turned on and off their lights.

    -OR-

There's a program built into the lighting of the building (like they do in Tokyo) that just plays out the game in this sequence.

    Either way, it's flippin sweet

  • they prob werent really playing prob just like an animation if they were playing then wow

  • damn

  • Last year MIT did the same thing with Tetris. All you have to do is set a computer program to control the electrical circuits to the lights.

  • It's a computer program, people. They didn't have to "practice" because it's not like they're sitting there turning on the lights and shit.

  • Nice! They must have spent months practicing or something!

  • How the hell did they do this?

  • somehow...this has to be fake..

  • how?

  • How could this possibly be fake?

  • through cgi..i have no idea really. i am not claiming to know whether this is real or not. it just looks so seemingly impossible to orchestrate.

  • CGI? Then how do you explain all the people down there watching it?
