That will hit there pockets hard, plus that crane is not cheap, bad site no safety and bad job of tying gable trusses together, those ties only worked for standard trusses.
Thats a no brainer, any experienced crew... as soon as that gable end was set, get on-it start bracing.... with that run of trusses at least 6 to 7 braces from the grown up, shit throw a couple xtra in... better be safe then sorry asses, oh! thats right you wouldn't have an ass left after that screw up.
No top Tie Beam. Talking about Plywood sheating to relly upon stabality too the truses, poo, a small wind storm or tornado would have poped off the sheating and done the same thing you see here. Total all arroud bad construction design and lousy construction. they used small 2x4 cross supports nailing one to one truses, should used over lapping 20 footers. That way wouldn't have been a dominoe effect. A bunck of cheep no good A__ Holes.
Actually by not installing plywood as they went along the construction workers could have been crushed at any time. The trusses were tetertotering like dominoes.
I bet this happened because they were in too much of a hurry to cross brace as they built. All because they were trying to save a bit of money on crane rental. You can even hear the wind on the video.
The wind from the storm was likely over 50 MPH. I was inside at the time and saw the emergency vehicles headed for EGC. Only 2 of the construction workers were injured. Neither had serious injuries.
My guess, and I am not an engineer, is that the end wall was solid so it caught the wind and then pulled all of the other trusses over. The trusses then fell down into the cinder block wall and pushed the blocks out taking down the walls as well.
"We got all this done just this morning"...

wonderful work! can you give me this companies phone number? I want to do business with them for sure!

looks like the braced it somewhat stupidly, especially if it was windy. Something tells me they just nailed the braces at the ends as well.
