huh?and you call that mad skills?speeds didn't even hit 50km/h...sure wasn't a easy route but it could have been better and faster...i hit atleast 70km/h on my Yamaha TZM on that same route some time back...not boasting but this isn't mad enough for me...
The 125 NSR has a bore and stroke of 54 x 54.5 mm and the NSR 150 , 59 x 54.5 mm. I think the 150 is a bored out 125.
This means the NSR 150 SP cylinder is 2.5 mm thinner and is probably at it's limit for bore size without breaking into the cooling passages. 175 cc would mean going to a 63.9 mm bore.
I forgot to mention I have the Tyga "step kit" which is the alloy rear-set footpegs and extended gear linkage. It gives better ground clearance for cornering but is not as comfortable as the stock foot pegs. I need do something about the suspension as it's none adjustable and not good over bumps. That's where the Aprilia is much better.
I have 150 sp (Australian model)mfg in Thailand with engine imported from Honda Japan. The engine is the best part and gives the bike very quick performance for it's capacity. The rest of the bike looks flash but is not up to the usual high quality Honda standards. Standard, mine showed 27 kw at the rear wheel and with a Tyga kit (pipe, reed, jetting and air box) 34 kw. GPS tracked it at 178 std and 193kph modded. ss 400 meters 13.65 @165kph. pretty quick for a "learner bike".
The starting was hard to get right. especially in cold weather.
I surprised many riders of larger machines on the road and at track days. It was faster accelerating than CBR 250 Fireblade with slightly higher top speed in standard form. No contest with Tyga performance kit. I can keep up with 400 cc bikes up to 140 kph.
With Tyga pipe it is important to increase the size of the main jet if you intend riding hard or in hot conditions. I went from 152.5 stg jet to 155 but seized motor. 160 jet in now but 157.5 about right. Some scoring of piston and cylinder but lives on with performance down about 10%. Cylinder needs repair and new piston to restore power to 100%. With Tyga kit, engine makes usable power to 12,000 rpm, about 1,000 rpm up on std.
The front tyre is an odd size and there are only a few options for replacement. It vibrates as is usual for a single cylinder 2 stroke. S few bits have fallen off or cracked from the vibes.
I have been foolish enough to ride it on trips over 600 km and my hands were tingling from vibration. My arse was so sore I could barely sit down. I have street dragged mine and was not beaten once in traffic light drags up to 100 kph. Surprised a few WRX pilots.
Sorry man, but gotta say that there isn't any way a 150 will put out that sort of power at the rear. 34 horses for sure, but not 34 kilowatts. But yeah, nice quick little bikes for sure!
Where do you get the orange meter cover?

Yes, you're right. That's 27 rwhp standard and 34 rwhp modified, not kw....my mistake. Also I think this guy is riding like a pussy.
I normally use 8,000 - 9,000 with frequent bursts to 10,000 rpm and sometimes to 11,500. occasionally I rev to 12,000 rpm if riding hard.
