  • yes there are shifts in gene frequency but they don't get stronger or advanced and that's my point

  • also hear is a major factor you atheists forget . REAL evolution would require a increase in genetic complexity ! Rich Dawkins couldn't even come up with one instance !! he was even asked the same question and couldn't answer !

  • Evolution is perfectly obvious when we hear people speaking like this because this guy is obviously on a lower evolutionary plane. Keee-rist!

  • @warwolfii dude are you trying to tell me a human evolved from a rock over 4.2 million years ? EVOLUTION IS A LIE !! get educated in this and you will see

  • why do you wast your breath on this moron shit for brains he does not read the bible !!

  • Man. . .Look at how dusty that bible is.

  • i had better understanding of evolution than that bald twat when i was five

  • ~1:23 reveals a lot about this guy's childhood.

  • I have to admit my OWN (stupid) prejudices: for a moment there, I wasn't sure WHICH side of the good-science vs total-bullshit fence AronRa was, because from the little icon for his videos, I didn't think he "looked" like a good-science supporter (with the long hair and beard).

(Headslap!) All the more reason for people to allow people to look however they want to look in their videos!

  • Wow, can't even say "penis" without getting weirded out. Bet he doesn't have a problem with talking about violence and so on. Man, he would have fainted if he tried to say "vagina".

  • @Moonteeth62 I KNOW i feel sorry for the guy he must have had a fucked up childhood

  • Are we not me? We are Devo!

  • well here's the deal noahs flood did in fact occur and its not mere stories. they found clams in the closed position on top of mount Everest, showing they dident die out of water 450 miles from a beach!!, that's crazy just there alone also coal seams span the entire globe some hundreds of feet thick

  • @hinc1mike Wrong.

  • @infinity730 thanks. :)

  • @hinc1mike

You need to learn a bit about plate tectonics. The Indian plate forced up what used to be seabed strata....

You win the stupid award for the day

  • Proverbs 17:11 An evil man is bent only on rebellion; a merciless official will be sent against him.

Proverbs 18:5 It is not good to be partial to the wicked or to deprive the innocent of justice.

  • @machinedean100

Captain Kirk once said "WHy does God need a starship?"

Quoting the bible without presenting evidence that it is what you say it is a waste of time.

  • Proverbs 18:6 A fools lips bring him strife and his mouth invites a beating.

  • OK I this is ridiculous I got to make video about all of the conversation I had here.

  • The fact that the 'Andy' buffoon mumbling here finds the word 'penis' "embarrassing" says it all.

    AronRa's patience is legendary.

  • Do you like light?

  • religion is a profession of idiocy.

it is all too sad to see people waste their minds on stopping any new scientific discoveries that contradict a book written by half-witted war-mongers that would rather see the human race die off, then let human created science launch us into space to find a new planet. (if anything globally catastrophic were to happen)

religion, and the religious alike, absolutely disgust me, and the first religious nutcase to lie to my kids, will end up in a hospital.

  • There's only 1 thing wrong with this, you said "I don't thin kanyone could ever misunderstand evolution so badly" and unfortunately I know someone who does. She thinks that evolution condones murder and genocide because we came about by killing each other, this is perhaps her least stupid statement about evolution, I'm glad of 1 thing though, she's decided to be celibate so her genes are gone from the gene pool!

  • @AntiMatterWave Yup death brought you life. Death giveth and death taketh away I guess.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, well, if I "evolved" from my grandparents then why do I have cousins?

  • @angrypom You are every bit as moronic as the fatuous creationist in the video. Tell you what, why don't you try taking your head out of your arse because the shit coming out of your mouth suggests its been in there for a very long time.

  • @ritchloui Not sure if didn't read properly or just really stupid...

  • Aron, I love you man! In a completely hetero, fanboy sort of way haha.

  • @toobsucker You are not able to see air but you can test for it. The same goes for electrons. That is how science learns.

  • Now that is a fuckin' old Bible! Is that the original?

  • Comment removed

  • cant say penis....and is as retarded as it gets....wow....tell me this man is trolling.....

  • He gives me a pain to the brain, but i think it's funny he would say something like this on video. See beyond the blindness grasshopper and embrace the penis word. :P

  • Is it me or is it the same shit every time with these fucking creationists?

  • LOL!! Penis... not a very nice word.... embarrassing word.... har har har har. What a twat.

  • You have to have a penis to urinate? Sorry ladies, you'll just have to hold it.

  • Hope you're not holding your breath...

  • Folks this subject like a fire under my ass, and I am delving into the concept of evolution, because I already explained how Jesus in fact existed and why Christianity is the most logical religion to choose from then the rest, and how your logic is flawed because you use what can be seen or scientifically proven when that's flawed because science relies on numbers and numbers are not even real. ok 54321 lmao

  • @hinc1mike Relax and remember to breath. Realizing that everything you've been taught is a lie can be a shock to your system.

  • @ole9421 How do you know that 'everything you've been taught is a lie'?

  • @ritchloui You'll have to excuse me. I misread your post and misstook you for a religious noob.

  • @hinc1mike If you think 'Christianity is the most logical religion' then you've already ditched reason. Even St Paul didn't think Jesus existed but was a metaphor.

  • And in conclusion, its such a leap of faith to say the earth waset created, everything we come to know in life is created. It defies common sense. Buildings tvs, cars everything that is man made shows there's a creation to a physical object. Same thing in nature. A fish, trees etc dident pop out of nowhere!! this is ridiculousness! and to deny a god exists is a contrdiction if you folks like using flawed logic, to deny got in essence admits he exists

  • @hinc1mike I think you should have skipped a few sunday school classes and taken a few more biology, earth science, and logic/philosophy classes (and english classes, your spelling and grammar are piss-poor). You clearly know nothing about the evolutionary process. Do some research, and come back later

  • @hinc1mike

    Who created God?

  • @freakiq Who created the universe?

  • Comment removed

  • @hinc1mike

Nobody in science has ever said fish, trees etc popped out of nowhere. It is easy for you isn't it?....arguing points that nobody is making that is.

  • @ThieleM No, that's what your six categories of evolution dictate and if you believe evolution as fact, then this is what you believe. In lamins terms, at the start of everything it popped out of nowhere.

  • @hinc1mike

    what is a lamin?

  • @ThieleM they keep saying we believe everything popped into existance. yet how do they think there god did it? fucking magic believers.

  • Consider the human population, 6 and a half billion trace it back, we get 4,400 years ago.

  • @hinc1mike By the time of your flood, current estimates place the world population at around 20 million I believe... making your god a genocide, by the way.

  • @hinc1mike

"6 and a half billion trace it back, we get 4,400 years ago."

Only if you assume a near-infinite carrying capacity and reproductive rates akin to bacteria. Both are false.

    See ole9421's comment.

  • @hinc1mike

actually we only get that if you turn off your brain and take bunting.

  • Um heres the thing aron ra says he's 100 certain about evolution as fact and he's positive there's no afterlife, well the notion of the earth being millions of years old is flawed, there's no way to detect that with 100 certainty however evidence can be shown the earth is no more then 5 thousand years old. Consider Dino bones. they say theres milluions of years when that estiment is inaccurate as well there younger

  • @hinc1mike Sadly, just by counting tree rings we can go back 11,000 years. Just by counting ice cores, we go back 300,000. And that population estimate you give is obtained by doubling the population every 150 years (which WE KNOW is not true) and was chosen only because it gave the answer creationists wanted, because, again, we know it is false. It doubled in the last 60 years, but there were periods, such as the 14th century, when the population pretty much decreased.

  • @danoso0931 Consider the Methuselah tree, the great barior reef, erosion rates, earths magnetic field is getting weaker, earths rotation is slowing down, and yes noahs flood wasent a story, or metaphor, it actually happened.

  • @hinc1mike The problem is that sure the dating methods are not perfect and give false results given certain conditions. That is why there is MORE THAN ONE dating method. Hell those go into the double digits, and with all of their little glitches isn't it odd that they all come to the same conclusion.

  • @hinc1mike While I can prove -even to your satisfaction- that evolution is a fact, I never said I was positive there is no afterlife. There evidently isn't one, and there is no reason to believe there is one, but that doesn't mean I'm positive there isn't one. I can however say with "100% certainty" that creationism is dishonest and that the Bible is definitely wrong on a great many critical points.

  • AronRa, my hero!

  • Penis is a no-no word! OH NOES!

  • apes to humans..... I'm so tired of that stupid shit.... that's one little tiny area of evolution... why does that always come to their tiny little minds first when they think of evolution? It's because their insulted by what they are..... slightly higher evolved primates

  • @AMagicalUsername well "higher evolved" is more a statement of perspective isnt it?

After all we may have art and culture, and kewl "toys" but the question is by how we determine "advanced". Some would say a gorilla in the wild has a pretty easy life (well in a natural setting without poachers) without the worries of what we call advanced life. I like the fact we are an advanced primate, I revel in my humanity with advanced mental capacities but I can see the other side too.

  • Is he banging a fleshlight while he's talking? LMAO Why is he bouncing up and down while he talks?

  • Before humans had penises (Oh I'm so embarrassed!) to drain our bladders, we just held it.

  • there is no way that this guy isn't trolling.....

  • When creationists cry about not seeing a transitional life form, I wonder if they are blind. Every single life form on Earth is a transitional form. Maybe an exception can be made for those species that go extinct are are the end of their branch on the Earth's gigantic family tree, but that's just due to semantics.

  • 5,703 likes, 124 dislikes - Decent ratio.

Could the world be slowly getting smarter?

  • cry as much as you like your an ape and your gods a lie

  • Man had to wait millions of years to evolve a penis, in order to take a piss.

    Could this explain tribal dancing?

  • If only people would actually learn about evolution before trying to poke holes into it or not just parroting what they hear on fox news, it would save us all so much time correcting them

  • Only religion can give someone a terrifying fear of saying 'penis.'

  • There is one transitional form i wanna see. A Batman... :)

  • Do people still feel if evolution is true their god is not? Francis Collins, an evangelical christian, from the human genome project knows the evidence from DNA alone is more than enough to demonstrate common ancestory. Get with the program or spend the rest of your days making depressing, illinformed youtube videos for the amusement of slightly more intelligent humans.

  • @wyattnolte Well you could look it at as common decent. I guess, you do realize DNA is just lines of code. So, if it is a written code any and all similarities could be attributed not to common decent; but just to a similar design. I have hands monkeys have hands. So, of course the coding to make the hands would be similar.

  • @machinedean100 Yeah they are similar designs aren't they. Not sure what you're getting at there. Are you trying to suggest my pet cat created the universe last Tuesday and made it look like evolution happened? PS: Don't try using semi-colons if you dont know what they're for, or commas for that matter.

  • @machinedean100 So how would you explain 'junk DNA'? If DNA were lines of 'written code' then why would the 'writer' decide to carry on writing lines (in some cases vast amounts) of code which served no purpose?

  • @mrbeast85 How do you explain junk DNA from evo's point of view?

  • @machinedean100 Try having a stab at answering the question first, rather than deflecting it and I'll have a go at telling you ;)

  • @mrbeast85 Genetic entropy! Junk DNA is just information that was once all together that has fallen apart.

  • @machinedean100 Well no. Its not a random hotch-potch of degraded genetic material - its coherent sequences of DNA. But I don't think thats what genetic entropy is suggesting anyway. Junk is actually a misleading term, as some of it has possible functions. Lab rats have been bred with sequences of junk removed, with no ill effects - superflous 'written code'? Plus we find the same non-functioning DNA sequences in different species, for example Humans and Chimps.

  • @mrbeast85 Well genetic entropy is suggesting the decay of information with in the DNA strand. Just like a scratched up record we might be able to get some sound tid bits out of it. Yea I understood some of it is coherent and might give clues to what it used to be; Or what that section might have done. I don't think the two having same non functioning sequences refutes it being a written a code. Non functioning can be quite different from junk. As there might a section just turned off.

  • @machinedean100

DNA does not in any way get "scratched up" like a record. Terrible analogy. It's not even close.

" Non functioning can be quite different from junk."

But both exist, and this is verifiable.

Might help to know something about something.

  • @TheZooCrew wth is wrong with you people. Na da they both exist i just stated that. Of course the analogy is not even close you guys would not understand an analogy if it hit you in the face. Your saying the junky bits of DNA is not comparable to the information contained on a scratched record. I don't see How, they both contain information and there both junk. DNA and the record both contain binary and digital information. It might help you to know something about something.

  • @machinedean100

Records dont contain binary or digital information. You should go look up how records work

  • @ThieleM Yes they do, The lil bumps are binary which then translate to digital. Binary is just on and off a bump is on no bump is off. Thats how records hold there information.

  • @machinedean100

Like I said, you need to look at now records work

  • @ThieleM why do you believe something came from nothing and try to justify it ??

  • @hinc1mike

Nobody in science says something came from nothing....why do you think it is OK to make straw man arguments?

  • @hinc1mike "why do you believe something came from nothing and try to justify it ??"

Yet you believe that an omnipotent, omniscient being came from nothing and for no reason.

  • @TheZooCrew /watch?v=Bb8kJV15Kns&feature=g-all-f&context=G202ab5bFAAAAAAAAEAA

  • @machinedean100 Why did you just post a link to a video with human, donkey intercourse?

  • @mrbeast85 Show me an instance first in which information is added whether then lost.

  • @machinedean100 Would depend on what you mean by 'information' and 'added' or 'lost'. Creationists leave terms vague so that any answer provided can be argued not to be suficient. Genetic mutations and duplication provide posibility of 'new information'. How about nylon-eating bacteria as an example of an instance of new information? Primates have 'lost' the ability to synthesize vitamin C, but defective, non-functioning versions of the genes to do this remain in the genome - information lost?

  • @mrbeast85 A change in diet might not be change in info. You need to show me that a change in diet was a change in genetics, or info being added. defective non functioning might just mean loss. Duplication's usually lead to loss of info and the loss of info usually leads to mutation.

  • @machinedean100 "Duplication's usually lead to loss of info and the loss of info usually leads to mutation. "

This statement is wrong by definition.

  • @johnrainrules lol no its not.

  • @johnrainrules "This statement is wrong by definition". Stop pretending to be smart, what is the definition of statement. Did a make a spelling error. is it really a question?

  • @machinedean100 Mutations are changes to a genome. Since no mutation manages to instantly wipe out every single original copy of the gene in a genome then mutations can only add information and never subtract it. Therefore your statement was wrong by definition.

Not surprising since creationism is the last stop for people who are too stupid to do science.

  • @machinedean100 That still doesnt explain why bats, moles and whales also have hands.. or more precisely, the same bones and layout of our hands. All of them have ulna, humerus, carpal bones and five digits. Yes, even the whales beneath their skin. In fact, its pretty hard to tell at first sight if an x-ray of a hand belongs to a primate or a whale. These 3 animals use their hands for very different purposes (fly, dig, swim), so clearly the design is not the same as in primates (grasping).

  • @danoso0931 yes it does.

  • @machinedean100 "yes it does". Well then explain it. Don't just say it does, please explain it. Also, explain why a shark's flipper looks like a whale's on the outside, but are built completely different. Same purpose, different design... as opposed to a whale and human limbs, which are same design, different purpose, right?. Same with the wings of birds and bats.

  • @danoso0931 I already did.

  • This has to be a spoof.

Surely nobody is as pig ignorant as this guy appears to be.

I showed this video to my 12yr old granddaughter and she laughed at the stupidity of him.

  • @HonestMan395 Never underestimate the depths which some people's confusion can reach.

  • @lazycackle or delusion.

  • @HonestMan395 sadly its not. look at the rest of his videos and you will see how bad it is.

  • @OkamsRazer I already have done.

This man suffers from an ailment that is only too common amongst fundamentalist Christians. I call it wilful ignorance. It is brought about by a mind crippling fear.

They dare not allow the slightest dobt to intrude on their literal belief of the bible, because, in their mind, they are certain that if they do, they will be running the risk of not going to heaven when their time comes and that terrifies them.

They live lives of constant fear of what is to come.

  • @HonestMan395 Precisely. Me on the other hand? I don't worry about being wrong for my athiesm.

Way i see it even if I am wrong? So what.

No Supreme Being is going to be so petty as to care about the sorts of trivialities all the major world religions claim. Nor would It be jealous vengeful and spiteful because if It is the ultimate power in the Universe who the hell would he even have to be jealous towards enough to require it as a mandate to our species (commandment 1, 2,3).

  • @OkamsRazer Thank's for your comment. If there was such a deity as described in the bible, he would not deserve any adulation whatsoever.

Man created God in his image : intolerant, sexist, homophobic and violent.

Religion does three things quite effectively: Divides people, Controls people, Deludes people.

  • the smart ones dont bother as they dont want to be judged for not following there own rules and when cornered will chew there own arm off hoping not to be examined or proven to misunderstand thuth truth is the light and the way, science is light and the truth. to claim outher wise is to lie .i said once before { if we hide our head's in the sand the only part we ever see is there ass ] and i do prefer looking outhers in the eyes science is the truth it is the light and the way

  • Penis.... its embarrising saying penis, not a very nice word..... imagine not being able to take a piss without a cock..... oh wait.....

  • Someone asks Richard Dawkins this very same question in the YouTube video titled "Dawkins Dumbfounded by Ignorant Creationist Interviewer". (It's probably in the related videos!)

  • Where is the follow up to this ? Was there a debate between AronRa and an elected "smart" theist ?

  • Holy shit AronRa..that is one Beat-up Bible.. looks like you've used it more than most christians (their books are impeccably unused)

  • @test123ok dont you remember Test...they dont need to actually read it because God speaks to their hearts.

    .

    .

    .

Although I do wonder how they could account for the fact their hearts somehow have an auditory nerve without the concept of evolution.

  • "From Apes to Humans"?...we're still Apes!

  • @23Tev indeed. Just not "damn dirty" ones...

  • You can't say any of this better than AronRa, so I won't try, but I will state this...

Even if you discount the 'facts' of evolution, it still does not prove god. You can ignore every scientific discovery ever and it still won't prove god. So for sheets and goggles let's say all of science is wrong. How do you prove god?

Probably a dumb question since you can lie about whatever you want to.

  • @shabido1 sheets and goggles? wth ? heh I know precisely what expletives you were avoiding but "sheets and goggles" why did you have to edit the "giggles" :)

  • @OkamsRazer IDK It's fun and if you're going to replace one, may as well replace em both. Shits and giggles seems equally random to me as sheets and goggles, maybe more so.

What in the world could one be doing with feces while laughing?

Sheets and goggles on the other hand, may have some connection or meaning, metaphorically or in reality.

'Hey look at that bedding and protective eye wear vendor. Let's rob him for sheets and goggles!'

  • @shabido1 "Let's rob him for some sheets and goggles!"...?

Man, you keep that joyouse spirit alive man because too many like me take life far too seriously....

  • @OkamsRazer Well thank you I guess, but I don't believe in spirits.

There are a lot of problems in the world, but if you can't just enjoy being alive from time to time, you can lose sight of the answer.

  • @shabido1 i should have seen that coming. Anyone ever suggest you are just a bit of a smartass :)

    Sheesh.

  • Comment removed

  • I almost feel sorry for this guy.

  • Atheism is a byproduct of intelligence combined with purposeful education in very specific areas of study such as science, comparative religion and critical thinking. The Christian in this video doesn't have all the ingredients and so therefore he will never lose his religion.

  • I'd like to point out that Andy (I believe that's his name) has come around. It just took some time.

  • not a clue who the British guy is but obviously hes some denomination of christian 1:14 (sexually repressed and told anything to do with sex is vile) - when he says penis his face lol "not a very nice word" im 16 and could talk about sex whith nearly all of my family members GROW UP!

  • I don't know about anyone else, but my eyes came in just last week.

  • The sad thing (about Creationism) is that you don't even need to have much understanding of the science to refute it, because the overwhelming majority of creationist arguments don't even pass basic intellectual muster. The flaws in creationism are obvious to anyone with a respect for intellectual rigour and the ability to recognize fallacious arguments.

  • @lovetoeatallthefood thats because they genuinely believe if the stick scientific jargon into their argument it makes it smarter or more valid, even if they use the terms wrong apparently.

  • That's a debate I just have to see!!. Nice one, tho it does sadden me that the guy is from the UK. I tought we had evolved past this nonsense. All The Best.

  • This man supports Aston Villa @AronRa... no need to dispute with him :P JK by the way, I don't follow soccer/football but find it funny that men of god can so freely devote themselves to a club to the point where they sport their colours and dispute that their team of choice is superior to another persons team of choice... its like micro-religion, leads to wars (hooliganism) and yet, doesn't the bible teach you its wrong to follow false gods? I've always found it a bit hypocritical haha.

  • I know why it seems to them that every creationist you debate is moronic - it's because they're all fucking morons! Their bullshit belief system is failing right before their eyes as they observe your debates with their own kind, but they fail to realize it because they think they can present the case better. I hope they do nominate "the best" creationist so he/she can be torn a new asshole in the debate, thus resulting in the nominators excusing themselves with "Oops, we picked the wrong one."

  • That guy has to be poe...right?

  • Oh my god... Is this guy REALLY this retarded?

  • Thank you for your video. I really like. I don't know a lot about evolution and I find that it is really hard to believe (but a lot easier than intelligent design). I mean by that it hard to imagine millions or even billions of years. But at the same time is really fascinating. Slowly, I am educating myself on the subject.

  • @tubetib

If the millions and billions of years are what troubles you, then you may wish to learn about stellar nucleosynthesis and radioactive half-lives, and radiometric dating methods. The Earth is provably billions of years old. The sun was not created before the stars -- it IS a star, and it is at least the second generation of stars. We know it is not the first generation of stars because Earth contains elements heavier than iron, which are only formed from the death of stars.

  • I hope that soon, some countries that are controlled by religion or have a large population of under-educated people who refuse to learn anything, start to realize that their science and technologies are being built by scientists from out side their own country. Islam, is one example.

The other, is that it is a not-so-well known fact that 50% - FIFTY PERCENT of the scientists working in the USA are in the USA on an H1-B visa.

  • AronRa, you are the only reason why the IQ of the State of Texas isn't in the proverbial shithole we all think it should be. Rock on, brother!

  • Penis penis penis penis penis penis penis.

  • Penis

  • Don't argue with football fans, they get overly excited when grown men kick footballs against fishing nets :-/

  • Comment removed

  • This guy must be a Poe.

  • Amusing how some people assert that we atheists have to explain evolution to them in order for evolution to be valid, ignoring that atheists aren't necessarily biologists, we don't inherit the magic power of knowledge on biology just because we stop believing in one or more gods.

If only these people would have the decency of doing proper research instead of falling into a denialism, we would spend our time with more fruitful tasks than trying to convince someone who wants to be persuaded.

  • penis? well, this christian specimen needs to become a homosexual to hold one in his hand...

  • He is clearly a man waiting to evolve a brain.

  • Penis penis penis!

  • penis is not an embarrassing word unless you are embarrassed by your penis.

  • I thought Europe had better schools than the US. I guess this guy didnt go to one of them.

  • @CurryCobra I think he went to one and sliped between the craks. If he did then they do have better schools becuase this guy can put together a thought

  • besides if the eye is so perfect why do you need glasses? :)

not to mention the fact that the eye is upside down and backwards.

  • @OkamsRazer Indeed or the fact that the eye has a blind spot on its retina. Besides why didn't god give us a tapetum lucidum (the reflective cells on the inside of say a cat's eye) and thus superior night-vision?

  • @mrbeast85 its just too bad none of our primate ancestors developed such a adaptation. I suppose it could be said that now that we have the understanding of genetic engineering, we could conceivably re-write out own genetic code to give us the adaptations we choose to have as a species. Admittedly it would take generations for such engineering to show fruit (theres no magic "pill" that a current human could take to just rewrite out code, regardless what scifi says :) ).

  • @mrbeast85 another useful adaptation I think humans would have benefitted from, and keeping it within the primal family is the increased density of muscular fibers which allows the Great Apes to have such enhanced strength compared to our own, it seems that the fact that our 2 combined chromosomes (since they have 48 we have 46) has caused us to lose that trait, while we have gained numerous other benefits.

  • @OkamsRazer I'm not sure you can tie the merged chromosomes to our reduced strength compared to apes, it may have just been a factor of selection pressures, like having a running speed benefit or some other benefit

  • @HeyHeyHarmonicaLuke actually one of the prevailing explanations is because of the fact that we actually have more motor neurons which enable us to have greater fine motor control of our muscles as compared to the other Great Apes. Their muscular control is such that they basically "overuse" their muscles and are observed as being stronger since they actually trigger more muscular response. I am not sure why this would necessarily prevent us from doing so however.

  • @OkamsRazer cool! i dig it

  • Yeah, but how did we discover fire if we were swimming around in the ocean without arms and legs, huh?
