  • Several ways to get a shot like this one .. .

1 ) shoot from low at the edge of the water

    2 ) boom

    3 ) zoom lens

4 ) float the cam on a fake swan (or other floating device)

    5 ) critter cam a swan

  • you were at the bottom of the steps at the quay ten ;)

  • fantastic gr8 vid!!! i really luv that bridge and river!!!! and not fotgetten the swans!!

    all the best ~ jonny

  • Sweet!

  • great vid.5stars

  • he he i was kinda right i did say u were hanging upside down lol ur crazy if u fell in they EVIL things would have killed you or broke every bone in ur body, beleive me lol

  • @mishyb1979

I have hand fed swans for many years, and stroke them as well when visiting Windsor. In all that time I have never suffered any injury, as their beaks are not sharp enough to break the skin on my hand. The only time when I have found them to be dangerous/agressive, is when they have had cygnets and are looking after them. However, even the humble coute will go for a swan in order to protect it's young. .

  • I don't know how you did it, but it sure looked great

  • Simply splendid!!!!! Kisses Perla.

  • lovely

  • Great footage, but in answer to your question - you got the shot by turning on the camera!!

  • Awesome!!! Either a remote control swan or your camera was on an arm thingy!

  • hanging upside down off the wall

and then spinning the picture round in editing

    love and respect

    scotty and libby:0)

  • Aha! Now I didn't think of that one. But if you invert the frame, wouldn't the swans fall out of the water?

  • no they would flap their wings and stay at the top

glad you liked this little clip

    love and respect

    scotty and libby:0)

  • You left a cam floating on a piece of wood ?

    Anyway,I ♥ swans

  • You met an obliging police frogman!

  • Terrific camera quality. I vote for the remote boat suggestion. Coole !

  • You had a remote controlled boat with your camera on?

I don't know but it was brilliant!

  • amazing video ! I like it so much . Thank you for sharing ; 5* .

    nutier

  • you hired the AFLAC duck to film this for you ;)

  • wow, so super and clear....fantastic folks!!!!!

  • I have no idea how you managed to film this, but it's BEAUTIFUL!

  • Wow awesome video and I think you were layin down on the edge ?

Thanks for sharing it with us!!

  • hm...a yellow submarine? LOL

    great vid my friends! 5*

  • put a camera on one of the geese?

  • Brilliant swan level video,

What I would have done is used a floating platform. but I think you used a monopod with a floating tray? underneath the camera

    Best wishes Richard

  • cool! i take it you dressed up as a swan to get closer lol! you must have been on a wee boat to get close to them and i hope you feed them some bread ;-)

  • right ur mrs was holding u over a bridge by ur shoe lases

  • come on do telll, pls pretty pls

  • Great footage! My guess is that you were laying on the river bank at eye level with the water. Maybe a telephoto lens or a zoom.

  • Great shots! Felt like I was right in the middle of those beautiful swans! How did you do it? Um...duct taped your camera to the top of your head? LOL 5*

  • Hmmmmmmmmm, telephoto lens.......and you were laying on the ground? IDK, but you did a w onderful job!

  • Another fantastic great creation from such a super awesome person.. This was wonderful.. They are so beautiful..

  • mighty fine indeed. i say you strapped yer camera to a rubber ducky.

  • Wow thats wonderful, you have done a better job that I have managed to get yet, just a learner. You seem to be almost down to their level, were you lying on the ground. Dont laugh as I have done this myself and no I wasnt taking a nap. God Bless Lady♥Q *****

  • Oh, I forgot to write, very good!!!

And looks like ToppervisionEnt got there before this haughty heretic, anyway.

    Ddaaaaaaaaaaaarrrghhh !

But it wuz very, very, very good.

  • Thanks fr sending it S&H Heck I dunno. Can't be radio-contol;ed boat because you would get the rocking & rolling of the boat/model-ship waving the picture like some "The Blair Witch Project" copy with surface-held camera-motiopn instead of hand-heldcamera-motion. Err... Mm... JUst a guess but .... did you stick two R/C servos on an old throw-away-monopod? then did you control the servos - one up/down & one left/right pan by radiop control? Or by string and sellotape????? Duhhh WTF?
  • Nice video. I reckoned you used a radio controlled boat or a raft?

  • I'd guess the camera-on-a-stick trick. Or maybe the camera-on-a-swan trick. GREAT footage either way!

  • you were either standing on a stone or riding a swan.

  • Fantastic, thanks.

    Are you at Windsor?

    They are very calm swans:)

OK, how did you get this footage - you took your rubber duck out of the bath, and gave the job to him/her?

  • I know ! You asked a swan to help you out ??? You taped the camera on his back and he swam towards his family... Am I right ??? Hehehe... Anyways, It doesn't matter how you did it, it sure looks awesome ! -x-

  • I think you used a robotic Cod fish with a camera attached to its periscope.... Am I close lol...

Great pictures my friend. St-Ives is a beautiful place ;-) 5*s

    Mark....

  • well the only thing i can think of you had a good zoom lens on yer camra may be you lade on the floor and zoomed in where was it taken looks like a place i know from my boating days nick cox hull

  • No water motion, so Id say its those long arms of yours I mentioned before. Maybe its not arms, and that other thing you alluded to. In that case I'm really impressed again, but I think theres a cam on a stick somewhere.

  • Wow I love it. I love swans. Enjoy the rest of your week.

  • The shooting angle is great!

  • or you were behind a dam and the top of the dam was at eye level.

Nah, it was the Goldfinger thing

  • What a beautiful film of those Swans ..Hmmm I know how you did it...You had the camera strapped onto the back of one of the swans : )

    Rocket

  • This was great! I think either you have a set up with mirrors and it works like a periscope, but you are higher than the mirrors.

    or more likely...

remember the very very first part of Goldfinger? :)

    Be well

  • Very Very Nice Great pictures !!!

  • please dont say i went in the water with them EVIL SWANS xxxxx thry could have killed you

  • sorry

    forgot about your swan phobia

no we where not in the water

    with those evil killing machines

    love and respect

  • @theytrebel they just really really scare me

  • Hmm?

    Maybe used a long stick....?

    lol..

  • you are the closest so far

    thank's for the comment

    love and respect

    scotty and libby:0)

    love and respect

    scotty and libby:0)

  • all will be revealed

    love and respect

    scotty and libby:0)

  • I have 2 guesses.

1)you floated the camera out on th water inside of something

  • the camera was still attached to me

    nice guess

    love and respect

    scotty and libby:0)

  • great views of the swans, I've no idea how that was done but the swans weren't ruffled at all! *****
