I think you probably took too many salt tabs. to need a salt tab for a 1/2 marathon, you would have to be a heavy salt eater normally and like a hundred degree weather. If sweat is stinging your eyes...you probably have too much salt in your system. Nice work, good stuff! Eating raw and running is hard. I do not crave sweet stuff either. I found carrot/celery to be really great-no too sweet. Investing into a racing fanny pack is a great idea for longer distances :) Congrats...
