corporation t-shirts stupid bloody Tuesday man you've been a notty boy you let your face grow long. i am the egg man woo! they are the egg men! woo! i am the walrus joo joo j'joob . did you no that john lennon got joo joo j'joob from the original humpty dumpty story? (ps- paul ain't dead.)
@SEANFIR they aren't lip-synching i saw them live they aren't you so the show on tv of course they are going to show the "recording" if you will version not the live b/c they want it to sound better your wrong they didn't fake anything my friend
There's no need to get mad about this. I think that there are moments of their show that are live, and because of necessity some are pre-recorded. Remember the Beatles stopped performing their OWN music live, because of the level of production for live performances wasn't up to par, yet. To clarify, they aren't lip-syncing to Beatles recordings, but their own recorded tracks... and not necessarily all the time. There's no easter bunny either! Have a nice day.
I'll clear this up right now: the video you are watching is live, no lip syncing. EVERY CONCERT IS LIVE!!
HOWEVER, SEANFIR is correct, in some parts the PBS special, they are lip syncing to their own recording. PBS came to them and asked them to re-shoot some of the concert for their TV special.
I agree. Whoever thinks they are lip sinking needs to get their fucking ears checked. Whoever knows The Beatles would know that they do not sound exactly like The Beatles but do a damn good job of fooling the ear. All in all, they are still awesome!!!!!
@taterii do you mean the screeching at about :50? if so, that's part of the song. the Beatles were pretty fed up with people trying to find out the meaning of their songs, so they literally just made this one up. it has no meaning, and they wanted to make this song as bizarre as humanly possible! so the screeching is part of the song!
Just watched the pbs show...they are certainly lip synching! Very obvious, the music sometimes doesn't line up with what's being played (I'm a guitar player with 21 years experience), entertaining though
maybe parts of the PBS special were lip synced to themselves (or more than likely, the tape that the station has was not synced right with audio/video)
I was watching my tape of the same show last night and everything synced up ok.
As a musician, I was also impressed, seeing them on PBS, but I must say that after close scrutiny and years of running live sound myself, they are lip-synching! But they're pretty good at the lip-synch! nice string and horn section! Where are they hiding it?!?
I'm sorry this upsets you, but there is no keyboard made that does what you are seeing here. I am a professional musician and have seen they're whole show on PBS... It's convincingly done, but about 50% fake. Some instruments are played, but many are pre-tracked along with vocals. oh, and there is no easter bunny either! Have a nice day!
@TheTruthFairy IKR? and if they are lip syncing, WHAT are they lip syncing to? definitely not the beatles, because even though they sound really similiar, there is a very notable difference.
I agree with TheTruthFairy, you are wrong. The do not lip-sync. All the members are from the original show, Beatlemania. And not to upset you, there are people out there that sound like The Beatles. Plus, they have on off-stage keyboardist playing along, so two keyboard are playing (off-stage with John). You know every model of keyboard ever made. I must say, that's pretty astonishing.
No, but I have been in video and audio production for a long time and I can tell a horse from a mule! They do sound like the Beatles, but in the STUDIO, as they are lip-synching, obviously. Other folks agree with me, and it IS entertaining to say the least. I'm not even faulting them, as they may have mentioned it, or were up front about it before. Little things like mic proximity, missing the synch on the bass or guitar are DEAD giveaways, but not very obvious, to the untrained eye. peace!
so, u've been in the video/audio production for a while huh? and ur only 22? thats pretty cool. Ur also a professional musician? whats ur stage name? what do you play? why don't you have any videos of your professional skills up on youtube? i mean, even if you dont own a camera, most professionals at least have videos up if theyre amazing enough to be videotaped by fans

@SEANFIR theres a guy behind stage that has a keyboard that has all the various instruments on it. believe me, i thought they were going to lip synch, and i had front row seats. they sung everything themselves with their instruments. NO lipsinging at all!
@UrTehCreep ur the dork! They have since admitted that they lip synced on the PBS special. Tell me the brand of your amateur keyboard that can sample 16 phrases in CD quality and have them all on the same patch? Please... do tell!
@SEANFIR I am also a musician and I have seen RAIN live. They are all playing their respective instruments. All the other effects are being played by a fifth person in the shadows somewhat offstage (to "Ringo's" left). In fact, this is the man who is credited as the one who staged the entire show. Also, RAIN is directly descended from the original Beatlemania show which played on Broadway in New York in the late 1970s.
@SEANFIR i agree with @TheTruthFairy, SEANFIR they dont just use some keyboard. i went to one of there shows and it was almost the size of the drums. with about 3 in all.
when I went to see them "John" accidentally messed up and had to clear his throat in the middle of a note when singing and everyone just laughed and it was all good
if he was lypsincing, the voice playing wouldn't have stopped
Hmmmmmmmm I`m getting a pattern here. I guess they have a different and a common song list for every show. Based on what I`m reading in the comments of each Video. Well Cool. Then, I won`t be too disappointed.
The Mahoney Brothers are another amazing Beatles tribute, as well as a slew of other artists...the one brother plays one of the Everly Brothers playing the guitar right handed, then comes out as paul and plays the bass lefty. Incredible.
Saw them in Charlotte last week. I wish they had played this song but I know they can't play them all. Glad to know they can play this one. Can't wait to see them again!!
Just saw the show last night. Band sounds were made by a "5th Beatle" keyboard player who was onstage ll night and took a bow with the band at the end of the show
Again...terrible! Sorry guys
