This is just a theory, and it's far-fetched... but in FF12 there is a "Zodiac Spear"... Maybe some weapons in Terranigma have different names in the Japanese original. The first spear is called CrySpear in the translation. Perhaps the names are different in the original, and the CrySpear is the Zodiac Spear (they couldn't translate it ZodSpear, as that would make no sense) and FF12 is throwing a homage to Terranigma?
If that IS the case, what the spear says to you makes much more sense.
But as I wrote, that's far-fetched... And it's probably not the case, as FF12 has lots of Zodiac stuff on it's own, so that spear isn't out of place or anything. Still though.
Would be nice if someone could confirm the names of the weapons in the Japense Terranigma.
I'm not certain what the black & white squares mean, but I've heard that the White represents Knowledge and Consciousness, while the Black represents Ignorance / Lack of Knowledge, and / or the Unconscious / Subconscious.
The first square Ark stands on is black... So, in other words, Ark is standing on the black square of ignorance, because he has no knowledge. He is receiving it from Yomi.
And it explains that the only way that humans could gain power is if they know how to use a weapon!! Additionally, many humans have met this "person" before and had the courage to use it!!
Good god, that's a lot of money. You can just download an emulated version, just as good. Snes9x or ZSnes are good emulators. Just message me, and I can send you the rom.
If you're the kind that can spend $90 on a classic SNES game and your SNES still works - then yeah. You'll have a lot more playtime and entertainment from this than a lot of modern games. The scope of this game is incredible.
you missed the two chests in the elders room at the begining
