when daredevil lost his sight, the other senses got stronger, so he could hear spider-man's heart rate. there's a physical reaction when someone is lying that daredevil did not hear when talking to spidey, so he knew he was telling the truth.

Between the games coding, soundtrack, audio and cut scenes, a 700 megabyte CD may not of allowed that much room at the time. Seems such a poultry amount compared to the 25-50 gigabyte Blu-Ray disks that are becoming the norm for games.

@FFVIICloudStrife1 That's not the case, though the game really does have it's plot holes and the likes, the Daredevil side plot here isn't one. In the comics Daredevil can recognize fluctuations of a persons heartbeat, which hints of a lie. Since Daredevil already knows Spiderman and thus his regular heart rate, he'd know if Spiderman was suddenly lying to his face. Frankly, it's more lazy writing on the comic book writers themselves then in the games writers. But still you have valid points.

I just realized that Daredevil's sensory ability to tell whether others are lying works like a polygraph test, only less so. The funny thing is, as a psychologist, I know that polygraph tests are not a technically valid means for determining whether someone is lying. I often wonder why people still insist on using them. However, I realize the writers didn't understand this decades ago when they came up with Daredevil's ability, and in fact, few people realize it even now.
