Wow this game looks pretty damn cool.Its not a very juggle friendly game,it looks like it a takes a considerable amount of precision and skill to play,which makes it a winner in my book.I'm a hardcore Tekken fan and this reminds me a lot of how tekken used to be before they ruined T6 with juggles.Is this game online?
I've played Virtua Figter 1 when I was in primary school. When I played Kage I was invincible. My friends doesn't want to play with me. But you aren't a master.
I watch the Tekken 6 BR gameplay too. But I'm sorry man, I'm sorrry but when Iwatch those gameplay videos it ust doesnt seem to compare to these gameplay videos. I played tekken 5 again last night and I had to quit. I'll eventually check Tekken 6 br out, but I'll have to get VF5 first. I hope it still has the quest mode like in VF 4 evo. Before I bought Virtua fighter 4 I heard it was arguably the best fighting game ever made, I bought it- and it was some of the most fun i ever had with a game

@giska1000 I'll admit I never played tekken 6. Tekken 6 looks great except one thing; the one thing that bothers me about all of the videos is the horrendous juggling. I would of jumped on the game and got excited when It came out but as soon as I saw a gameplay video of it I was like WTH. Nothing fun about popping up a guy in the air. looks like mortal Kombat. I would imagine that game being the end all-be all if they toned down that awful juggling.

@Joesire but hey juggling is almost impossible if you are not some master,or even higher ranked fighter(and you need ALOT OF PRACTICE to be at least expert,or master....like at least 8 months for one character).....so i think you newer played or saw some t6 br match man,and those guys have hundreds of moves,combinations,and some other weird stuff its like fuckin science....thats why tekken now only with more than 18 yrs play.....believe me try it,you ll like it,if you like fighting games...
@Joesire p.s i know you definetly saw tekken 6 gameplay ....but it was released in 2007 in arcades but true updated version came in late 2008 for arcades and in october 2009 for ps3 and xbox,called tekken 6 bloodline rebellion....it is one of the bestselling games right now,and alredy is named one of the top most balanced games of all times,so tekken 6 br is waaay better than original tekken......so if you have ps3....try t6 br,give it a chane....believe me me and my uncle(he is 38 yrs old lol)

tekken is faster and much more arcadey..but the fighting mechanics are generally similar, you hit, defend, parry, grab, or counter.....but with too much characters its hard to balance them out...and they should've stick the juggle system to Soul Calibur....

In the last version of R, he does lose some options, from what i understood reading on the VF main site, but he seems to gain more low game options to balance it out.
If anything he seems to do less general damage than before.

Tekken has got to be the least realistic, most one-dimensional fighter ever made. It has a thousand characters, except maybe 12 of them have unique movesets, and every other character is a duplicate with different animations. Soul Calibur is a little better but not much. VF has 3 buttons, and yet to this day still has the deepest mechanics of any fighting series out there.

Ive played pretty much all fighting games Neo Geo included And VF5 is the best by far. With unique characters, Pretty much EVERY character has its own play style and tactics to win. Amazing game. Agreed completely with you FistOfFury2010.

I like the commentating, just not the voices. Sounds way too 90's football/basketball. I think its astounding how they can calculate when to make them say what, and enough to not make them repeat the same thing too many times. Seeing this video, I now think that the story must have the game broadcasted for fans or something.
The commentary is okay, but I do NOT like it when they mention "low health." Real commentators find a new way to say that. I would be a better commentator....ok, I'm done complaining. The game is great though. :D

Ive played pretty much all fighting games Neo Geo included And VF5 is the best by far. With unique characters, Pretty much EVERY character has its own play style and tactics to win. Amazing game. Agreed completely with you FistOfFury2010.

I like the commentating, just not the voices. Sounds way too 90's football/basketball. I think its astounding how they can calculate when to make them say what, and enough to not make them repeat the same thing too many times. Seeing this video, I now think that the story must have the game broadcasted for fans or something.

Wow commentary sucks lol. especially when they talk over the fighters' voice overs.
Overall VF5 didn't even really improve a whole lot from VF4:Evolution....just slightly more detailed graphics, but that's about it.

The commentary is okay, but I do NOT like it when they mention "low health." Real commentators find a new way to say that. I would be a better commentator....ok, I'm done complaining. The game is great though. :D
