I finished the rebuild. New bearings, pistons, pins, rings, new turbo seals, and compressor shaft...now I am breaking it in. I will be at the track on June 14th, but only to photograph and to hang out. The car needs more break in time, and so does my wallet. ;-)
Wow thanks! Appreciate the comment and look forward to a new engine and more time with the group. I have to give praise to Gary Q. of the Porsche group, who loaned me his truck and trailer so I could get the Z home! A big thumbs up to the PCA and it's members.
You are a smooth, consistent driver. I timed many of your laps. You take it easy until your tires warm up, then reduce your lap time by one second each tour. You're fastest at the end, when you're fuel-light and the tires are warm. Your best was just below 1:12, which is very tidy for a street-trim car.
We'll expect to zee your Z back in action for the upcoming Zeason!
