  • haha, is the intro text a parody of Soul Asylums 'Runaway train'?

  • Great song, great album!

  • FUCK YEAH awesome song, & this clip made me so paranoid as a kid

& still to this day. When in a shop I have 1 eye on my Redline all the time :)

  • i love this song so fucking much

  • only heard of seawed because of clerks...sorry

  • I agree about the "longevity" aspect. Look at SAMIAM, Mustard Plug, the Queers and others who still play to 1000 or 100 people depending on where they are, but still push on for over 20 years and continue to make the best music available.

  • i ride my bike where they were! too bad the ruins arent there anymore

  • Saw these guys in summer 1993 in Nelson Curling Rink in northern BC, canada. Played with The Smugglers and Cub. Great show. Great band

  • So rad. Dan Dean and Johnny being awesome. So many friends in that video...

  • @MrDemian0666 They all hate you now.

  • @mdgarmager there is still some good music today, but almost all of it is of a throwback style of one kind or another.......hardly anything really innovative going on now........and ive made ernest efforts at finding them

  • I miss good music......

  • This video is everything I loved about the 90's.

  • Saw these guys at the redmond firehouse in 95'. they kept playing fugazi and minor threat riffs in-between songs. Free all ages show ( although I was 24)

  • After I heard this song a couple years ago I went nuts, I currently have Four and Weak and I downloaded a shitload of their other songs

    Seaweed is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @StraightPunkEdge93 Wow. Currently I have Four & Weak. Great minds think alike??? :P :P

  • @alicemudgarden123 they sure do :)

  • i love this band...great time to grow up listening to stuff like this and not copy cat hipster crap today

  • Great song by a great band.

  • at the end of the video they are playing at the old western state psych. hospital in lakewood WA a few miles from tacoma Wa. I take my dogs there all the time.

  • Video Is Cool!

  • These guys ripped off my bike!

  • my band played in a portland´s arcade 2007. it was a dream come true.

  • Yeah, it's just not the same. Things have changed so much with this kind of music. This band was so good. Goddamn. Used to listen to this everyday when I was 19 in '94, and it is still fucking awesome.

  • Nice Song, Nice Band!

  • Fuck that bike thefts!! lol

Seaweed is priceless... nice songs to skate on.

  • FUCK YES!

  • pow pow pow

  • I remember around 91/92 when I was around 10 or 11 one of my older sisters friends taped weak for me and from there on out punk rock and skateboarding was all I cared about. Still is to this day.... along long with my wife kids and job, crazy how times change. I still listen to Seaweed everyday

  • Deep man. I wish I was a punk in those days. I was 4 years old in 91. I barely knew what a guitar or skateboard was until the late 90's. I missed all the fun.

  • truly agreed. same here

  • These days it all about x-box :/

    Shit.

  • this video clip is one of the best i've ever seen in my life, it passes some youth, reminds me of my childhood, and is very funny, it keeps you watching 'cause you wanna know what are the boys up to...

  • the video was an inside for soul asylum's video with missing child.

  • this band rocks.

  • dudes is it my idea or are they very very young ???????? the bass player looks like a 16year old

  • God do i miss this band! they should have been huge....instead bands like Bush got the attention in the 90's...the way it goes i suppose.

  • El año que viene vuelve el grunge, así que señoras, prepárense!

  • My bike has been missing since i was 13. Anybody find a green 10-speed? Let me know jk

  • Awh... to be 15 again!

  • ther new cd since '98, "Small Engine Repair" is coming out this year

  • YES!!! :-D

  • FUCK! I can not get over this band. I first heard 1 Out of 4 yesterday. DAMN I HAVEN'T HEARD GOOD MUSIC IN AWHILE! I gotta get on of their CDs.

  • this song brings back memories from high school. I"m not from the area, nor was I in hs during the 90's, but somehow the notion of stealing bikes during impromptu concerts was still alive and kickin' with us

  • This song kinda reminds me of growing up in Tacoma. stealing bikes, and messin around at the old western state ruins. and they also show the 66th street trestle.

  • Yes I was in the eightiez then

  • 90's

  • if you like this check out stone descendant. they are bringing back this style of music

  • I remember seeing them at CBGB's in the early 90's. I also remember my old roommate went on to play drums for them.

  • Does Seaweed still tour?

  • Ya they got back together in 2007 and have toured alot since then for tour dates see their myspace page

  • legal o som dessa banda!!!

  • Saw Seaweed damned near every time they came through Chicago in the late 90s. At one point I almost listened to nothing but Seaweed as well as Quicksand and never did get burned out on their songs.

  • Where did you see them at McGregor's? I saw them there and Lounge Ax. What about Iceburn?!?

  • I saw Seaweed live at Evergreen back in 90 or 91. It was a fun, intense all-ages show. Ah, the good old days.

  • i saw this on beavis and butthead as well and just searched it on youtube. i really like it. i wanna go steal some bikes now too.

  • I was an extra in the video and we really weren't play the games at all. It was shot at the Seattle Funplex if I remember the name correctly... it was so many years ago!

  • Visualize Tacoma!

  • mezcla perfecta entre grunge y punkrock

  • a great song from a great band from back when punk rock was more than a fashion statement. Punk rock today is so bloody boring!!

  • I remember this video! I always wondered about what games were on the machines though lol. Four is great, and Seaweed rocks :D

    \m/

  • This video was on Beavis and Butt-Head, It's also on the Volume 2 DVD of the Mike Judge collection.

  • Im not usually into old school skater music, but this band KICKS ASS. I saw this video on beavis and butthead then searched it on youtube, and found this. It's still awesome. Everytime I watch it, it makes me want to steal a bike.

  • Freaking love this song. One of my all time favorites.

  • saw them at Club with no name in hollywood in what?1991?

  • Yeah. Nobody cares about the bike. I guess it's a lost cause...makes me sad...poopants

  • I remember the tour annoucement with Bad Religion, I was dismayed at the odd pairing. Most of the bands you mention in "About this Video" are faves of mine and much better than these guys, but bless them for putting forward the effort.
