wonderful. I did wonder what would happen if you put some swing into it. Jazz up your classical. maybe put some synthesizer in it somewhere. ride on a star. be more than you are. you know. but bless you whatever.
Beautiful playing Joe. I like both your recordings of this one. The FR7 sounds great with the guitar voicing and this one sounds great with the Accordion voicing.
First off, your playing is fantastic I love it. I've heard the FR7 and FR7X and I think the "X" sounds better. One thing I've noticed though. I can tell when watching someone play the real thing vs the virtual, that there is a sort of direct connection to the performer which shows up in the dynamics. I see a sort of detachment when watching someone play the virtual instrument. I'm not sure I could tell the difference if I couldn't see the instrument being played though.
@wesorama Thanks for the nice comments. The lack of dynamics engagement you are sensing on the virtual accordion is because the bellows can be adjusted so that the performer doesn't have to push/pull as frequently. So you can get maximum effect from substantially less "musical theater." Many acoustic performers who also perform on the FR7X see this as a major positive because they can produce much longer sustained phrases without breaking the bellows.
Thank you for your flawless rendition!! My FR 3X arrives today!!!
