@FlipStar26 Indeed! We are actually playing this kind of 80's influenced funk/r&b here in Finland (our demo is on our channel :)) and Youtube has been one of the best places to find some of this inspirational, rare and funky r&b from the eighties!
I will be honest. I have never heard of this group. I admit it has a catchy beat. Too bad they would not have lasted in the USA. It changes everyday like changing my underwear!
i can remember being in the late "busbys night club ,late 80s,bristol,looking over to a girl and singing the words.ive just spent a day pulling out these old skool funk tunes to put onto one disc,38 of them, so many brill memories(i wont to go back!!!!!).look at total contrast:-takes alittle time, skipworth and turner-thinking about your love and ive pulled out so much more.
"AAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW YYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH..........I`M TOTALLY WITH YOU ON THAT PANOS 1963....The amount of comments I`ve read while I`ve been flicking through the unforgettable 80`s Music here on youtube....THEY ALL SAY THE SAME THING"BRING BACK THIS MUSIC,WE ARE ALL TIRED OF LISTENING TO THE SH*T THEY ARE CHURNING OUT TODAY!!!!!!

What I don't understand is the UK brought us a plethora of great music from pop, rock and r&b so why is it they can't get rap right??? With that said, I love this f'ing song! And the "Have a good forever" album is nothing short of amazing....

Reminds me of when I saw them live at Fairfield Halls, Croydon, circa '84/85. The woman in the pink is Bradley from S Club 7's mother.

THE COOL NOTES were easily one of the best Funk Bands to come out of the U.K. They made so much great music, I just love their AWESOME sound. I wonder if they made any other videos?? Thanx 8D
