I certainly think it is a lot easier to use and master, especially with all the excellent available ruby scripts and renderers that are now available. I have just upgraded to v7 Pro even though I use AutoCAD for 99.9% of all my work. The video was done while I was still learning sketchup, and now I bet this video can be done in half the time...
i'm kinda new to this, got on the way with this but am kinda stuck with the part where you copy/move the shingle part. Cant seem to get it into the right place
The pro version comes with Layout, which I don't even use as it's crap & slow... You don't need it... best stick with the free one, you get the same results...
Whats the difference between pro and the free version? I just downloaded the free one today and its amazing! I could spend hours playing with it! Very nice roof you have there too!

You may create advanced components in it (but you will need programming for it, skills anyway).

realy good, here in Brazil we don't use this kind of roof but u helped me a lot. i oly have to change one thing.
