I stated that the earth has a limit as to how many people it can sustain. I would suggest that figure is under 9 billion with fossil fuels [haber process included] and probably around 2 billion without them. If you study the ancient history of any people you will discover that morality and them were strangers before the Bible was introduced to their culture. No matter who the people were. Except that the "thou shalt not kill" philosophy only applies to those members of the religion that are mentally stable and reasonable, rendering them impotent of killing off the diseased individuals. Kind of like how the healthy cells of a body are not capable of destroying cancer cells. The whole "thou shalt not kill" approach is a mechanism that increases the survivability of the religion.

I stated that the earth has a limit as to how many people it can sustain. I would suggest that figure is under 9 billion with fossil fuels [haber process included] and probably around 2 billion without them. So, even if no-one killed anyone and health was perfect we would not exceed 9 billion and will soon drop back to 2 billion.

If you study the ancient history of any people you will discover that morality and them were strangers before the Bible was introduced to their culture. No matter who the people were. God frightens you because you know that if you deal with Him you will have to face yourself and that is hard to do. You love your sin and don't want to give it us so it is easier to kill off the truth. Either by ignoring it or by hurting those who have it. The Bible is full of accounts of people who do this.

I wasn't being sarcastic. The invisible ghost or for me the spirit of God, is the creator of all things and of all these things we all take advantage of. Man spends his whole life trying to find an answer, but it's faulty because he can only use the things that were already given. Thus man cannot create what has already been created all he can do is manipulate it. Science and man will never answer creation only God can.

There is no need for a creator when it comes to explaining things. A creator would instead require an explanation. The world does not consist of creators and creatures. The world consists of matter that follows natural laws. This includes everything we know of right down to our brains, our thoughts, our feelings, our consciousness.
I don't know why you have god on the brain. Was it placed there by indoctrinating parents? Maybe it was a result of wackos in your social circle.

Explain to me why it had to come from anywhere. Maybe it has always just been around. I don't know why things are the way they are and I don't know the whole story. I don't know what may lie outside our universe. I don't know the background to why Big Bang happened or if there have been others but I suspect so.

There is no reason to believe that a magical consciousness is governing the universe. The evidence for this is nil. If such a guy was calling the shots then he must have set the universe on an autopilot we call the natural laws.
Why believe in something that has never ever been observed and that would be completely sensational if it existed?

Be careful, these "valid" sounding arguments can be applied to anything. This person has some fundamental misunderstanding in his "logic." Jesus was a man of faith, persecuted and killed by the religious. Faith and religion are different. Therefore, this man's underlying assumptions are based on error. His video is a distorted but "logical sounding" argument based upon ignorance. It "sounds" good, (like Natioanal Socialism sounded good to confused Germans) but it is based on a false premise.

Religious indoctrination of youth is child abuse and should be considered as such by authorities. Until we put this form of abuse on the books, we will continue to see 'infection' spreading. I think that when children are immunized for viral infections, the parents should submit their plans for how they plan on raising their kid. If they are planning on brainwashing them into their 'herd' of delusional sky daddy worshipers, that should be dealt with. Religion is dangerous.

I partly agree with what you've said, but the problem is, we live in a free society where people are free to believe in what they want and teach their children whatever they want. Now I submit that because it is brainwashing, then it is a form of abuse and should not be tolerated. Now the problem is enforcing this or getting it approved in the first place. It will never happen this way.

We are already seeing some changes. Look at how we react to physical punishment of children at the hands of parents. This practice is based on religious teachings and is fast becoming intolerable in our society. Maybe small baby steps will get the job done. It will take some time and education. First, let's point out how much of Religion is false and based on fairytales, then we can attack it's stupid ancient fallacies, especially when it comes to raising kids. Morality is not biblical.

You're right. I agree that the world is changing and that it's going to take time. I read something a christian said in their comments on another video about how "christians know that a child is not born with any morality" and to some extent this is correct, but they submit that it is derived from the bible and actually believe that anyone not believing in what is written is immoral. I submit that humans have an innate "lean" towards cooperation and that your parents and society teach morality.

I feel sad for you because you seem to believe that the only place anyone can gain morals is from YOUR book.. if you don't believe that, then you really shouldn't be disagreeing with what I've just said. There are some moral ideas in the bible but while you say "they believe these morals because god told them to" and I submit that we already had most of our morality... I feel that you are wrong.

Actually memes are the corner stones of a lot of companies and marketing activities. McDonalds for example focuses on kids in order to create future consumers, giving the false image of a child-loving corporation. Ikea does the same. Religion was the template for this mechanisms. Religion is the underlying system which makes more subtle mechanisms work. Like the odd inviolability of statements of so-called "successful" people - the foundation of modern slavery.

Based on what you said, I have every right to call you ignorant. Calling evolution dogmatic is one thing. The very first thing the lecturer of evolutionary biology presented was insurmountable evidences supporting evolution. It's reasoning based on evidence, and every scientist is ready to change conviction based on evidence. But, creationists start out by pointing at the Bible. "It looks too complicated" is NOT a scientific evidence.
