me gusta que trae las dos modalidades automático y mecánico, maravilloso es un verdadero toro en la carretera. compralo no pierda la oportunidad.!!!

  • Lol look at 1:55 a Elantra went by

  • I don't believe that the car is only 21,000

  • @MrRedskins0021 U better believe it cause it is&I bought it..lol:)

  • macacarnap lang yan.

  • Quiero que venga a Venezuela, el unico que e visto por ahora es la nueva versión del accen´t. soy un admirador y fiel a la Hyundai. tremenda marca y como dura el motor de los mismos.

  • Hyundai is going to beat the crap out of toyota and honda cuz they offer more for less

  • @305abnormal Yeah. Japanese cars are expensive. And I've seen a lot of hyundai cars around. Not only they cost less but they look sexy too.

  • it is very beautiful car and and it look very nice

  • thumb up if you knew he was reading from a paper @ 2:08

  • Absolutely beautiful, and the interior has great quality. And 40mpg! Who needs Toyota and Honda? Korea makes the best autos now, no doubt about it.

  • Itube661 just to set you straight the Iraq war wasn't to give us fuel, it was to raise prices on gas by ending the oil for food program. The soldiers that lost their live in Iraq is the product of corporate greed, nothing more. So you can't say because of that war is why we can drive. It's the reason why I pay 4 times more now then before bush took office.

  • This and the new Ford Focus is my pick

  • Chevy Cruze? Yeah Chevy runs deep, deep in B.S.

  • Automatic? Fucking pussy.

  • The Elantra does not get 40MPG highway. Check out that data on the website 'fuelly'. Consumer watchdog has sent a letter to president Obama and to the EPA stating that you car does worse that what the EPA tests reveal, and Chevy Cruze consistently does better than what it's EPA values are. Both the Elantra and Cruze are 33MPG combined).

The Cruze gets an average of 28% better mileage than the Elantra.

Stop lying please. My mother got an Elantra, always in Eco mode, can't get more than 25MPG

  • @danwat1234 I just bought a2012 Hyundai Elantra LIMITED model.Ur mom has2drive the car in a longer distance to get the better mileage.

  • very very good lookin' car

  • i'm a hyundai fan :)

  • is it the silver colour....?looks great......

  • I had a 1995 Elantra, it sucks!!!

  • @Strangephenomena1 Yea I know Hyundai & Ford SUCKED back then. But U should have waited 6 yrs..lol.15 yrs has changed,so Toyota & Honda better watch out cause the competition is catching up BITCHES=) I think Honda is still doing ok.But Toyota is doing awful..lol!!!

  • (cough) Honda Civic (cough,cough)

  • it's honda civic's sister

  • I mistaken AUTOTOOB for AUTOBOOB.

  • When the "consumer watch dog" of the consumer organization measured the fuel consumption of Hyundai Elantra in response to consumers' complaint, it was before and after an average of 25 MPG.

The organization announced officially, saying, "The real fuel consumption of Elantra has large deviation with catalog fuel consumption."

In quest of fuel consumption re-measurement of Hyundai Elantra, it appealed to EPA, and came out.

  • wow i gatta admit Hyundai and Kia both of them r really pushing it to the limits

  • Just rented one for 4 days in LA - LA traffic? = horrible!! This car?: Simply AWESOME!!! Best car for the money hands down.

  • I've got a 2009 Elantra Touring. 2.5 years and not a single problem. More storage than some small SUVs, 26-36 mpg, 0-60 in around 8 seconds. The entire car is just well built, comfortable and lots of room. My only niggles: stereo could be louder, and it sucks in the snow with stock tires.

  • Hmmm.......it looks good.

  • i want 20000 bucks :( donate for me , i am poor guy

  • This car looks like manga characters

like Goku and Zin of tekken(ok thats a video game), sharp nose, perfect spiked hair and eye brows from hell

and mr Ron Doron....love those bisceps

  • Thumbs up if you dont hav money to buy this car

  • Elantra > BMW 3

  • @mrzack888 Germans vs. Koreans? BMW vs. Hyundai? Really? BMW FTW....

  • @NICKGARCIA7702 you play basketball?

  • 40/29MPG? My 2011 elantra gets 20 mpg in-town. Do your research before you buy this car.

  • @danjoe79 Me too but I definitely get 40 on the Hwy. So I would say 40/20

  • @brandoncjo88

    That's terrible.

  • @13andincradiblycutt I say do it. I know I did. I'm so grateful that Hyundai released this just in time to make it my first car, and I'm 23 no lesss. I was very close to buying a Civic--and I definitely considered it because some of my extended family are Honda fanboys. But honestly, this such a good deal that even Honda's label can't overshine the bang-for-buck the Elantra offers. I can't be more pleased. It's such a joy to look at (inside and out) and especially to drive.

  • its with 16.000 dollers .. ill have one next month

  • Thumbs up if you are a satisfied Elantra owner

  • This definitely a cool car !!!

  • looks fantastic the new design teams for hyundai/kia really are doing their jobs well, keep it up.

  • blah blah...fucking economy cars....only teens drive that shit, get a real car....

  • @ROBBY639...and whats a real car?

  • @ROBBY639 i dont wanna drive a "real car" at 4+ dollars a gallon, then its gonna be a "really parked car"

  • @roush26 well i dont know....the new mustang GT AUTOMATIC gets 23city and 28highway....well atleast that is what the window sticker says....along with 412hp, great style and looks to get noticed when driving everywhere, and you can have a thrill in it while your head gets thrown in the seat and u fell your gut go back....so it seems pointless to by a pos slow elantra...it is ur average slow teenager car....it is just new...sorry this car is plain gay...only nerds drive that shit....

  • @ROBBY639 Yeah, that's right...continue to lie to yourself that the Mustang is better and has good gas mileage...A 412HP car that weighs 2 tons doing 23MPG? right...Detroit did it again...Deception is their game...

In the meantime while i wrote this another young american soldier died in Irak so you can have your precious Mustang V8...so you can impress girls with it because you cannot do it otherwise...

  • @Itube661 2 tons?....since when did 3300lbs become 2 ton?....detroit?....wtf?...gas mileage?..ok the auto gets 23mpg and the standard is 24mpg bitch....get you facts strait, and on most v8's now days...when you are in low rpm range the car only runs 4 cylinders or v4 should i say, so learn your stuff....and while a good friend of mine died in iraq on halloween you we driving your precious little slow ass, bitch ass, pussy ass, teenager, economy green ass car....fyi, 4 cylinders CAN make 500hp!!!

  • @ROBBY639 Ok, Robby you are right...keep living the american dream...be it V8 or V4...

I'm familiar with displacement on demand however a V8 running on 4 cilinders will still burn more gas than a 4 cilinder engine...V or in line..

And yes...you can make even 1000HP from a 4 cilinder engine...but you can kiss durability good bye... and...for going from your home to the local wallmart and back...you don't really need 412HP...that's just wasting fuel. But hey you deserve it,you're special

  • @ROBBY639 And if you respect the friend that died in Irak,,,than bare in mind that he died for your fuel!!! Next time you go to the gas station ...say a prayer for him...and then enjoy your daddy's Mustang...

  • @Itube661 ...well love burning fuel and destroying the atmosphere....it is one of my all time favorite things to do!!!!!....while driving my mustang(s)....you know the ones i have payed a total in around $19,000 for the cars then modding them....and paying for gas $80 a week....while only driving about 20miles a day....yep...sooo much fun.....

  • @ROBBY639 Uncle Sam is proud of you Son!!!

  • Hyundai is not bad, but not better than Honda, Toyota

Need many years to get to the quality of Japanese cars

  • @fawwaz9669 i think you need to replay this video buddy. Elantra was 2012 car of the year...not Corolla, not Civic

  • beauty.

    Love it

    Really this car over-performed itself.

    Good job Hyundai ! ! !

  • The United States of America pig you

  • so nice

  • meu tio tem um desse!

  • "I say new, N U". Yeah man, that's how you spell new.

  • @Vivacious918 Fail. the NU engine, is Hyundai's series of engine. He even said it in the review.

  • My 2011 Elantra Limited only gets 20mpg. The elantra is go in a lot of regards but don't buy it for the gas millage because real world gas millage is not there

  • The Civic and Corolla will look 5 years old when parked beside this car.

  • @NAKAKATAKOTAKO yes, it has stunning design.

  • is betar than corolla but stel good corolla

  • ..not impressed

  • Yes, but does it blend?

  • my friend has one and i was in it yesterday. it was a VERY nice car. the only thing though is that it was rather noisy and a tad bit jerky when shifting from first. idk if thats with every elantra. but im not gonna lie. it was a NICE car!

  • ugly car very ugly

  • so bad

  • Americans give thanks for the privilege of being able to enjoy cheaper cars in Brazil since the price is absurd. Hyundai is a luxury in Brazil is not for everyone because it is very expensive cars in Brazil

  • مساكين يحاولون يعوضون عن السيارات اليابانيه عشان كذا يدخلون تكنولوجيا

  • Nice car !But its not going to be a cheapy compact car here. For you is $21000, here in Brazil its going to start at $41000 , manual! : (

    fk.... : /

  • In Brazil this car costs $ 41,000 manual transmission.

The top model in Brazil costs $ 48,000

    Taxes absurd!

    Thank your country!

  • Recycled soy,I wonder what does the car smell like...

  • The interior is slick!! It's 10X better than nissan z interior, honda, toyota etc. good shit.

  • 1:56-1:58 Another Elantra passed him by lol

  • Why is the front so angry?

  • freind's mom got ! today (Y)

  • prodajem polovnog yuga

  • I gave them credits cuz all i'm seeing they doing is better designs this one right here is more stylish thn a corolla or santra.. gud job Hyundai

  • I am pissed.

My dad was finally ditching his 1995 Nissan Maxima for a S, 7, LS, or Porsche Panemera.

Then he jsut had to visit a Korean friend with an elantra. Since my dad is Indian. He thought, why spend so much for a car, when you can get this.

I am not being humorous at all. Just wanted to see what he is deciding to get.

And I am not liking it.

He gave up 550 HP, 9 speed dual clutch auto, etc., etc. for this pile of %$#%

It's a great compact car, but ty for ruining my day.

  • @slobhinav Spoilt prat, go learn something about life and come back here and moan. Not everything is about speed. It's a MASSIVE jump from that silly ass Maxima. Your dad has a point, and your dad is full of logic, why pay so much for an over priced car? I mean a Porsche? REALLY? Horrible things......

  • @skipskops

    Silly ass Maxima?

It is not much of a jump frankly.

It looks fugly and it is probably not near as reliable.

The Maxima is a great car, and the new one kicks this things ass all the way back to the Korean town some of its parts came from. The engine in the Nissan? Tops the Ward's list of engines in the 90's. It has NEVER had a problem. The car itself, we just changed the struts, and that is the only problem we have had so far.

  • @slobhinav

And btw. I talked him to his sense, he ain't getting a Hyundai anymore.

The reason why I don't like Hyundai's is because they have no name. When they have done great things I will pay attention.

The innovations in a lowly Porsche Boxter are enough to make South Korea (and Hyundai) put to shame.

  • 14 people doesn`t have the money to buy it..

  • @ENobali you need money for grammar classes man.

  • @rufoolish Pay them for me man.

  • @ENobali no 14 ppl have the money to buy a better car lol Subaru sti all day

  • what do you mean drive it for 4 years? it wont last longer than that?

  • What do you mean drive for 4 years? It won't last longer than that or something?

  • that guys shirt is too tight

  • you looked at your notebook at 2:10 I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE

  • Saw this at being demoed at a shopping centre, looks amazing, it looks much better in real life.

  • I bought the 2012 Accent. I like small cars, and the new accent is pretty big.. Smaller than the Elantra, obviously, One of the greatest things about the new accents, it doesnt look like ass

  • I bought the 2012 Accent. I like small cars, and the new accent is pretty big.. Smaller than the Elantra, obviously, One of the greatest things about the new accents, it doesnt look like ass

  • I have jeep Hyundai Terracan, 3.5, 2005. I did'nt have serious problem since 2006 (time of purchase). It costs its money (and suspension needs improvements). The spares service life are behind Japanese and German analogs. Moderate consumption 16L/ 100 km (speed 50-80 km/hour) within city . In general, Hyundai models are good!

  • the 2011-present Hyundai Elantra/ Hyundai Avante is assembled in

    Montgomery, Alabama, USA

    Ulsan, South Korea

  • pillars made from volcanic rock? how heavy is this car?

  • "Cars that make sense" from the 80's commercials. I was in HS when these hit the market and were as disposable as the YUGO's. I don't know how these 5th generation's are going to last in the long run but with the economy in the crapper I'm seeing a lot of folks buying them. It is a good looking car though, but I also saw a Fusion Titanium that was really sharp! kinda looks like an audi from the back.

  • @BerettaM9USAF The Fusion is one of, if not the best, cars for the money. For about the same price as an Elantra you can buy a comparable or better equipped Fusion.

  • He's freaking hot!!!!!!!

  • @StubbyCub do you really think he's hot? what the fuck

  • @chrischris292 I actually do.

  • @chrischris292 yeah he's hot. He has a nice body

  • The Elantra is a good car for those who don't want to pay $2000-$4000 extra for a Fusion and are daring enough to speculate on the iffy Hyundai reputation. The Ford Fusion is much better in every possible way not to mention any Fusion will outlast any Elantra.

  • @madhatter0110 Obviously you are not much about car insight. Hyundai iffy? LOL.

  • @bsp1148 Perhaps I was giving Hyundai a little too much credit. I don't know of many Hyundai vehicles lasting longer than 150,000 miles. The only manufacturers I know of that have a worse reputation than Hyundai is Suzuki and Chrysler.

  • @madhatter0110 Hyundai is not perfect but they hold up relatively very well. Mine has more than 144k now and I am looking forward to 300k. The only drawback to driving a car that long is that your life is too short to hold on to the same old car for God's sake. Hyundai builds cars by millions every year and they are not fooling skeptics like you.

  • @bsp1148 Call me a skeptic if you want but statistically Hyundai/Kia may build "millions every year" yet with respect to longevity Hyundai/Kia just isn't up to par with most manufacturers. The likelihood of any Hyundai hitting 300K without an engine and/or transmission replacement and other extensive work is slim to none.

  • @madhatter0110 if you see my car, you may believe it as well that it may reach 300K without much trouble. No joke.

  • @bsp1148 I concur-I have an 01, with only 85k, and by god you cannot tell that the engine has gone that far. And that's despite my thrashing it here and there. I do maintenance on it-anyone who doesn't DESERVES to have their car crap out on them-but I do say this now that it is one tough as hell car. But I've bottomed out the suspension numerous times, slammed the gearbox, and hammered the engine. And you know what? Still going like nothing happened.

  • @madhatter0110 I'm sure the jury is still out on Hyundai longevity, but they have come a long way since they started selling cars in the US, especially in the last 10 years. It's kinda like that commercial that aired during the Super Bowl after the Hyundai Genesis got the 2009 North American Car of the Year award. And now Hyundai barely keeping up with demand for the Elantra, as dealers sell them soon after receiving them, other automaker realize that Hyundai is a serious competitor.

  • my new 2011 elantra has gotten 18-20 mpg city since i drove it off the lot. dealer says 12000 miles till it will get peak performance. that doesn't make any sense. surely im not the only one. on the hwy i got 29 mpg. im an older person that drives very basic and slow.

very disappointed with hyundai..this is my second elantra. they ran a huge ad campaign about elantra economy car 29-35 mpg city 40-45 hwy. salesman guaranteed it would get at least 29 mpg city.

  • 1:10 wow his shodow is so long haha

  • Im from Brazil and probably this car will cost here something around 43.000 dollars next year...Iam tired of this, here in Brazil cars is so expensive..

We pay for a Honda Accord (the basic one) 62.000 dollars.

Honda city (the basic one) 35.000 dollars (this car is manufactured here in Brazil).

    VW Jetta 42.000 dollars..

This is not just because the high tax in Brazil..

  • My German car is made with real materials. And will remain stylish after 2 years.

  • @sssukaPSN Probably not...

  • volcanic rocks????????????? lol

  • Which 1 you preffer to drive a Hyundai Elantra or a Chevy Cruze?

  • Wow! The interior looks really nice!

  • I stick to a very strong philosophy of sticking just to German cars ! I got to to say, I cant knock Hyundai or Kia they are coming out with top notch designs and decent interiors. Does anyone know how there resale value would compare though and can this warranty be passed to the following user ? Just interested !

  • Is this a guy or girl car?

  • @N2P95 I don't know. Crawl underneath and see if it has a dick or a pussy!

  • @N2P95 i tried couldnt see anything......

  • @N2P95 Androgynous.

  • In Saudi Arabia, we don't have these features at all, we're being punk'd, seriously, lots of my people buy/rent Hyundai for horrible & dangerous drifting.

  • I drove the newly redesigned toyota corolla. I was looking for a paper grocery bag to put over my head while i drove that boring car. plain boring car.

  • european cars suck they are overrated. hyundai ftw.

  • @freebird20002012 europian cars suck? Long time I havent heard greater nonsense, see you buddy!

  • @ssdivizion

ofcourse they suck, especially volkswagen, fiat, audi (overpriced volkswagen), volvo, citroen, renault....

  • @freebird20002012 Who are the most desirable cars in USA today? American cars? Lincoln? Buick? Nope, the most desirable cars are made by EU(BMW,Audi),japanese(Honda,Nissan,Toyota) and korean(Hyundai),read articles,go to forums, research, not only to speak without sense and from stubborn, that is MAJOR american problem, you think that you know everything BUT is quite opposite, ;o) p.s.Half of all your car manufacturers today are bankrupt, only so I will say about your "superior" economy, buddy!

  • Elantra got an impressive dashboard... Corolla dashboard is patetic...

  • I liked the Iceland part

  • HYUNDAI = AMD :)

  • I have a 2002 Elantra GL (base model) that I bought new in November of '02. I've always lived very close to work, so I only have 90,000Kms on it. Aside from routine maintenance, one recall on a rear suspension component, replacing ball joints on the front end, and replacing the flex pipe after a hole corroded through it, I haven't had any major repairs done.

Its been a very good car for me for nearly ten years - if the 5th generation is another improvement, I'm tempted to get one...

  • Cheap brand somehow these guys have moved few steps...but nowhere near to European brands which have top notch quality and drive

  • @victimoftemptation

Yes, Hyundai is not aiming to be a top level car manufacturer. They aim to build high quality cars for reasonable prices. Hyundai is a volume car maker like GM and Ford, not like European makers.

  • @jimmyhumming Poor Man's Luxury

  • @victimoftemptation European cars are good but overrated. the Hyundai Genesis can compete with many other luxury brands at a much lower price

  • @victimoftemptation

lol...another eurocentric freak! if european cars are soooo great, then why are they changing their designs to get more fluid lines. i mean bmw and mercedes had very boxy designs for a long time...even jaguar changed its british design to look more japanese with the XF that replaced the s-type an x-type.

its not nazi germany, but the new generation where asians rule...

and reliability? european cars (esp AUDI and volkswagen) is pathetic!

  • ANY HEADROOM ?

CAN PEOPLE TALLER THAN 180 cm CAN DRIVE IT ?

It doesn't look that really has the headroom, this guy is not

too tall and already hits the roof, same as we've seen with

Kia Sportage (everything was there EXEPT the headroom),

which makes it female only car, so again,

HYUNDAI and KIA: MEN ARE TALL, AND NEED HEADROOM OK ?

  • @oztronix You are alien? On earth we are not taller than 7 feet women AND MEN... so it is good for men!

  • go hyundai FUCK them ALL!!!

  • Hyundai is the best!

  • It's a nice car, but every review should include a segment on the residuals - what will this car be worth 3 years down the road versus the Civic. That's the question you need to focus on, and speaking of the Focus, what a flop that thing is proving to be.

  • @WinchesterRanger

    Watch from 1:10

  • did he say 148 horse power ? I'm buying one and they told me it's 132 horse power ^o) I'm kinda confused :O

  • what kind of fuel need it premium or regular?

  • A week ago I was totally surprised! I couldn't find seats on a flight so I had to cover a distance of 1,200 miles by road; didn't want to use my car so I went to rent something cheap and i took the Hyundai Accent (smaller than Elentra). Mind u i live in Saudi Arabia so roads r so tough and the heat is unbelievable. And guess what.......that Accent was great, i never expected that....I would by a Hyundai any day

  • @ssj02 Did about 600km with a Sonata, my first Hyundai that I rented. Great ride, fast, comfy. Bought a Hyundai as soon as I landed back home :)

  • im glad its quiet so i can sneak out...

  • Just had mazda 3 as a rental. Terrible car. It's like the bumps on the road and the suspension are attached...tooth jarring ride and rear windows are about 10" tall..form over function. Drove a friends new Elantra...i'm not sure if these cars are in the same price range. But you'd have to be drunk or crazy to buy a mazda 3 over the Elantra..and I don't even like Hyndai. Elantra's suspension alone is reason to buy this car over mazda 3. 7 days in a mazda 3 and I wanted to blow the car up.

  • @814gt The Mazda 3 and Hyundai Elantra are built for different reasons. The Mazda 3 is supposed to be sporty and road-gripping so you're going to feel every bump. The Elantra is built to be a commuter car where fun driving doesn't matter but fuel economy is top priority.

  • @2Kriss2Kross Perhaps. However, I have a 2011 subaru wrx and bmw m3, both are 'road-gripping' but are don't cause your teeth to chatter. The Cx-7 drives terribly also.
