yea 13 is giving me alot of trouble. i don't knkow if my input is too slow because when i attempt it quickly it just does the ground shave roll after the H punch but not connecting

i suck at this game and it took me forever to do the first ones with a combo involved, does anybody have any advice on how to quickly execute his moves?

@Knightmare9513 With timing, I tend to look at Dan's health bar, and you may notice an orange light that swipes across (above and below) his health, if you try linking normals, try timing the next normal at the same time as it disappears to the right.

But if it's literally special moves execution you're having problems with, then best thing to do, is input the commands slowly, don't worry if the moves don't come out, just practice the motions, and once you're familiar with it, input them faster

#24 is easy once you get the trick... upforward hk, neutral mp downback ~(immediately pull to downback while the standing mp animation plays) mk, back lp, foward hp

Oxkenzo, What's the secret to the later trials for Blanka or any character in general, The computer blocks constantly. I know what to do but the moves just don't come out and if they do he blocks them. And if I try to input a move before the other move finishes, nothing happens he'll just stand there. It's like it doesn't register. Any tips you can give?

@finklemannn With every combo, there is a certain timing you need to use to link moves. If you execute the move too early, it will not come out as the animation for the last move is still going on. If you execute the move too late (when your opponent's hit-recovery animation is finished), it gives them a chance to block. So you've really just got to master the timings of some things, for example knowing when a link is a cancel. All I can say is keep practicing, and watch these videos for help.

This is a link, not a cancel. Basically you have to wait until the recovery frames are over for cmk in order to do his ultra... otherwise you will super cancel it.

Exactly. If you do it fast like a regular cancel... you'll get that super, which is nice, but the ultra requires you to wait a bit longer so it isn't. Good luck!

do better joysticks mean crazy combo's? i mean people review them and rank others better than some. i have probably the lowest tier stick which is the only one for xbox 360 at the time, the hori ex2. now i enjoy playing with it and it has made me a better fighter but watching these trials videos and people doing shit in 5 minutes which takes me 2 hours. this is just bullshit, or a broken game. i've done all of blanka's EXCEPT level 20 and trust me, its one of the easier ones. what the fuck.

@gowplayer2 no offense, but it is about skill, not what joystick you have man. The quality of the joystick really means how easily it will break.

@DementedZealot no dude, its not just about skill. obviously this is one of the more skillful games though. people aren't playing hello kitty joysticks just because they think they will break, if you hear people talk sticks they go into detail about part quality, with sanwa being the best and most responsive. trials are retarded, 90% of the people who complete them aren't pulling that shit off in versus. timing isn't always the same, kick/punch strength matters AND distance which they dont show.

Look at Shizza, he is about the only player of his caliber that plays on controller. If you have a very bad stick where the buttons are crap, sure you cant pull of f your stuff, but do you know how to do them is the question my friend.

Reportedly the chip damage on the ultra, which was very high in vanilla SF4, has been reduced. I've been maining Blanka since July, and I haven' had but a few chip damage ultra wins in a long time, so it doesn't seem to be as big a deal as it was when we were all newbies.

@cjwynes not true, chip is still a very good deal with blanka (and ibuki to). Shout of Earth does a lot of chip damage and it is great for those kills. I know what you mean though. Blanka is MY character lol. The thing is though, we just dont aim for it too much so it doesn't occur to us ya know. But with SoE going throughout the whole floor, chip win is even easier! lol. Or they jumo back or somethign wiit low health, ultra, hit or chip :D
