I noticed that while we were taping the show. What happened was... Mort had made a joke about Donald Trump bouncing a "Czech" and Richard Carter didn't get the joke, so Mort did the "over his head" gesture on his own head, and when he saw that he was off camera & Gloria was on camera, he did the gesture over Gloria's head.

@tomdib Morton's legacy remains. I think Glenn Beck and especially O'Reilly have a little Morton in them. Sean Hannity too, probably. If Morton was alive today, he'd probably be one of the elder statesman on Fox News like Geraldo or Brit Hume or Oliver North. He wouldn't have his own show, but he'd come on for a few minutes a week. Maybe he'd have a special interview segment on O'Reilly "Downtime with Downey" or something preposterous.
