you need to get a program called dvd43 this will block all copyright protected dvds and allow you to convert the dvd onto youre ipod.

@FumiDesigns sorry for the late reply but yes it is supposed to take over an hour, the program isn't known for it's speed lol. I have a brand new mac and it takes like 30 minutes to do a 20 minute tv episode

@11487isme Well that is entirely different than putting dvds on your phone. My iphone does not take videos so I'm not sure. I would imagine you transfer them to your computer, then burn them to a dvd with some sort of software, don't think itunes does that though.

So im having a problem....i got the newest handbrake and there isnt a the Mpeg4 convert opion its only m4v and mp4 and then when you open the folder containing the conerted movie yours has the quick time symbol above the movie while mine has the itune and the file wont open in my itunes HELP ME PLEASE

Try the mp4 format. And my sister has the same problem on her computer but shes at college, so when she gets home ill try to help you. And sorry for being so late.

My next question is also relating to the newer version of handbrake....under video..when clicking under codec there isnt just a normal MPEG-4 file....theres MPEG-4(XviD) and MPEG-4 (FFmpeg) which one do i use..thanks for helping :)

Works with seasons of shows, you just need to make sure you choose the right chapter of the dvd, they should be the longest out of all the selections.

one more thing...one of my dvds has an intro and then goes to the main selection screen. When I do all your steps and click Start, it only does the first 17 seconds of the dvd (only the intro before the main title screen)...How do I get the whole dvd? When I go to the "Chapters" section, all it list is Chapter 1. Please help! (Dont worry about my comment before about the DVD43, I downloaded it)

Okay, heres what your doing wrong. Your chosing the first chapter which is seperate from the movie. What you need to do is look for the longest time and select that chapter instead of the first one. well if you downloaded them from the internet what you need to do is download wm converter, that should convert it to different formats.
